I dealt with a salesman named Josh, he was a very nice and very kind to deal with. However, he is new to the car world. I told him very strict parameters, I wanted something with good fuel mileage, grey or charcoal in color, under 100k, and in a certain price range. He stated " Well I have this 2010 Ford Focus that gets 38 miles to the gallon on the highway, and 24 in town. It had correct color, miles, and great fuel economy so I purchased this vehicle. After driving it two weeks, I call back in and told Josh my concern that It hadn't went over the 25 mpg mark. He said to reset the mileage, so I did. I tried it again under various conditions driving with tail winds, at 65 mph, everything and the car will not get over 25 MPG in any condition. I have called a second time to try and figure out what is going on, because in my opinion I was told that I would get 30 miles to the gallon on average. The managers don't want to stand behind there product, and want to feed me a line of B.S. and say that I don't have a valid complaint. Yes, it is 4 years old, with 83K on it but then don't tell someone that's what it gets. I feel I got screwed, and there managers don't want to even look to compensate anything and were horrible to work with, how they ever got there is unknown. I wasn't looking to get anything for free, just looking for what I had asked for in this vehicle and I was told I would get and obviously its two different things. I wouldn't' recommend any single person to buy from them, and have no respect for customers. More
Do not shop here. Read the reviews online( yelp.com), they obviously take down all the terrible sales and service reviews. Cost over $3,000 to get running correctly, they said just give them the bill they would take care of it, that their service dept was busy. I'm now out around $4000.00 extra and filed court papers since they wouldn't respond or answer any calls. I do have the documentation I brought to their attention but got passed around and have to file legal papers costing more time and money! Bet they take this down immediately also cause they are dishonest and hide the truth. More

I had been looking for a used truck in the 25K range and went through several dealerships. I was unable to find a satisfactory used vehicle at any dealership. I was offered to look at a hold over 2013 unit went through several dealerships. I was unable to find a satisfactory used vehicle at any dealership. I was offered to look at a hold over 2013 unit (brand new). I wasn't sure if it would be within my price range. I proceeded to test drive and fell in love with the truck. I price checked at both bill Barth ford in Mandan as well as Eide ford in Bismarck. I looked at the exact same truck, using the same trade in vehicle. Eide was able to beat bill Barth by $8,000. There was only a $500 difference in trade in value, the rest of the difference was Eide discounts on the new vehicle. Working with Dana was easy and he was able to answer every question we had. I did not have an appointment and Dana spent over 2 hours with us on a Saturday and stayed late to help us. We did not make our final decision until Sunday. Dana worked with us (over a cell phone) for more than an hour on Sunday and reserved the truck for us. On Monday, I was able to show up and get started on paper work.... By the way, I utilize a tunnel cover on a weekly basis and asked if they could include one in the sale. Dana worked with management and was not only able to include one, but the service department also installed it prior to giving me the vehicle, no reservation, they just got it done. Thanks to Dana and the shop manager At Eide service for getting this completed. It is greatly appreciated. Dana then spent another 1.5 hours showing me the vehicle and ensuring I was well informed about all of the features. I Am extremely grateful for the time and hassle free service provided through Eide and specifically Dana. I would recommend using Dana at Eide ford to anyone. It was not until a day later, when talking to a friend, that they stAted her entire family has purchased through Dana and they will only purchase through Dana, as he is excellent to work with. My only complaint is the ford credit services. In order to get some of the rebates, ford requires financing through them. They are at 7.8%. I can get the same loan at gate city for 2.04%. Needless to say, ford trucks are great, but ford financing is a rip off. Make sure And check out the rates at your local bank before purchasing. More
I was new to town and was looking at trading in 2 vehicles and replacing with one. Adam our salesman was very friendly and accommodating in setting up time to me with us to look at inventory. During which time we had located a vehicle that would handle our needs such as 4 wheel drive and good handling in winter conditions (2009 Honda Ridgeline as recommended by salesman). I was looking at taking care of all financing myself. Adam was very accommodating in setting up to pick up our vehicles and have their appraiser look at them and get us a price. Which they did, however their trade in on these vehicles was about $4,000 less (between the two of them) than book had said was the value. I stated I would need more value for my trades to make the deal happen. Adam said he should be able to get a deal done that I would be happy with, this was around 7:30 PM on a Friday. I had to fill out some paperwork for him and he left. As i was thinking about it more in the lobby that night, I didn't prefer to do the deal that he was trying to put together, so that same evening I told him I would be looking else where for a vehicle where I could get a better trade value on my two vehicles and wanted to cancel any further dealings with them. (As I had said before I was doing my own financing). I went to a different dealership about 5 days later and found a 2 year newer Honda Ridgeline for around the same price range. They offered me $3,700.00 more in my trade in than Eide did so I completed the transaction. I might add that my wife loves the vehicle. Now is when things started to happen, about a month from when I was in Eide Ford on that evening I received a rejection letter from a bank in regard to financing a vehicle at Eide Ford. I shrugged it off as that must have been them trying to get a deal together and forgot to cancel it. Much to my dismay for the next month, and as far as two months later, I have received over 14 separate letters from different financial institutions each one pulling credit reports and causing a hit on my credit score. At which point I put call into the management and spoke with a Jesse (I think his name was) and was told he would look into it and get back to me, which I haven't heard a word from anyone to date and that has been over a month and a half (and don't expect any at this point anyway) All being said and done I will never be doing business with a company that either out of spite or incompetence was not or could not stop inquiries in to banks on a Friday evening (keep in mind I was doing my own financing as I had told the salesman) More
I went to Eide because of 2 reasons. First, they had a Jeep I was interested in. Second, I have been told by many people that they were a good, for the regular people, kind of dealership. Well, after taking this Jeep for a ride and coming to an agreed price, thats when things stated to go awry. There were 2 items I wanted addressed before I paid for my Jeep. 1 was a heater issue and the other a gauge problem. I was told be my salesman that these would be taken care of. 4 days later after 7 calls to my salesman, he told mme my Jeep was ready to pick up. Now, for the purpose of this review, my Jeep was a 1997 wrangler. Its in great shape, and after being a Jeep owner for many years, I know they are tough and dependable. Well, 4 days after I purchased this Jeep, I went to MN for Christmas. When I arrived in MN, 450 miles from Bismarck, I had NO heat in the Jeep. I called My salesman in Bismarck, but got no return call. AS IT TURNED OUT, MY JEEP NEEDED A WATER PUMP, HEATER BLOWER RESISTER, THERMOSTAT, ALTERNATOR, AND A SERPINTENE BELT! I CAME TO FIND OUT, THERE WAS SO MUCH STOP LEAK IN THE COOLING SYSTEM, THE HEATER CORE WAS PLUGGED UP AND COULD NOT COOL THE ENGINE PROPERLY OR GENERATE ANY HEAT. AS A RESULT, THE HEATER BLOWER RESISTER AND THE ALTERNATOR WENT TO xxxx! THE SERP BELT WAS SO BAD IT BROKE IN HALF WHEN THEY TOOK IT OFF. SO, BECAUSE OF ALL THESE PROBLEMS, I WAS SUSPECT ABOUT THE INTENSE SAFETY INSPECTION THEY CLAIM THEY GIVE ALL THERE USED CARS. I WAS TOLD BY THE MECHANIC THAT REPAIRED THE JEEP THAT IF ANYONE CHECKED THIS BELT, THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SEE IT WAS SHOT!! ALSO, IF ANYONE WOULD HAVE CHECKED THE COOLANT, THEY WOULD HAVE SEEN IT WAS BLACK IN COLOR AND CHANGED IT. AFTER I HAD THESE REPAIRS DONE, I HAD THE OIL CHANGED BECAUSE I DID NOT BELIEVE THAT IT WAS DONE EVEN IF MY SALESMAN TOLD ME THE JEEP WAS SERVICED. I TOOK THE OIL TO A LAB THAT TESTS OIL FOR VISCOSITY. THEY FOUND THAT THE OIL IN THE JEEP, THAT ACCORDING TO EIDE HAD BEEN CHANGED, WAS COMPARABLE TO OIL THAT HAD 5000 MILES ON IT. BOTTOM LINE: THE OIL WAS NOT CHANGED, AND I BELIEVE THAT THE JEEP WAS NOT INSPECTED AS EIDE CLAIMED. FURTHER MORE, IN THE BUYING PROCESS, MY SALESMAN TOLD ME THAT EVEN THOU THE JEEP WAS AS IS, IF SOMETHING MAJOR HAPPENED FOR A PERIOD OF TIME AFTER I PURCHASED THE JEEP, " WERE NOT GOING TO LEAVE YOU HANGING" WE WILL WORK WITH YOU! YESTURDAY, I WENT TO EIDE AND TOLD THEM ABOUT THE PROBLEMS I HAD, THEY TOLD ME "TOO BAD" WE HAD NO WAY OF KNOWING WHAT WOULD GO WRONG WITH THIS TRUCK. WELL, I BELIEVEE THAT IF THEY WOULD HAVE CHECKED OUT THIS JEEP, THEY WOULD HAVE FOUND THE PROBLEMS AND SOME OF THESE $800.00 IN REPAIRS AND COSTS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED! SO, USED CAR BUYERS BEWARE!!! I HOPE, FOR ALL THE USED CAR BUYERS OUT THERE THAT MINE WAS AN ISOLATED INNCIDENT, BUT IT REALLY MAKES YOU WONDER, HOW ARE THEY INSPECTING THESE USED CARS. TO FINISH, I'M NOT DONE YET. I HAVE PROOF OF THE NO OIL CHANGE, PROOF OF THE BELT AND STATEMENTS FROM MECHANICS STATING THAT ALL OF THE REPAIRS, EXCEPT THE WATER PUMP, COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED HAD THIS JEEP BEEN INSPECTED. VERY BOTTOM LINE; SHAME ON EIDE FOR NOT INSPECTING THIS JEEP, BUT SHAME SHAME SHAME ON ME FOR TAAKING THE WORD OF A NO SO TRUTHFULL SALESMAN AND NOT CHECKING OUT MY OWN JEEP BEFORE I WENT ON MY TRIP. I used the online portal on a Monday and scheduled an appointment for Thursday. I did not ever receive a call back to confirm an appointment. I then called three different times to schedule an appointment for my remote car starter and a slow leak in my tire. Finally after a week the cashier I spoke with told me she would be happy to schedule an appointment for me but I could not get in in two weeks. I explained that I had scheduled using the online portal a week ago and she said of yeah sometimes those get lost. Then my question is do NOT use it as an option. I have always been happy with Eide's service and their products. We have purchased our vehicles from Eide but this experience left me looking for another place in town with better customer service. I have a very pleasant experience with Ardeen Muller. I went in on a short notice on a Monday to look for a new car and Ardeen took the time to show me all of the different Ford Focus cars available. He helped me pick out a new 2014 Ford Focus based on what I do for a loving and Ardeen knows my jobs and the car he helped recommend has been very good. He took the time to answer all of my questions and showed me a number of different Focuses and I have a very pleasant new care buying experienced. I would recommend Ardeen Muller to anybody looking to buy a Ford and I will be a Ford customer for a long time to come. More
