Car buying is about the worst job I have. I went to Eide because of a TV ad while waiting for an appointment with the VA. I was impatient, borderline rude, because the first sales person I approached palm because of a TV ad while waiting for an appointment with the VA. I was impatient, borderline rude, because the first sales person I approached palmed me off on Ryan. He was patient, very much willing to listen and not shaken with my explanation of why my seating requirements are what they are. Within 45 minutes we had made a deal, talked about the down payment met with the accessories manager, Kim, and was on my way. The seating equipment arrived late last week, I had my today appointment exchanged keys and then I got to meet Mike who is the closing specialist. What a genuine pleasure those few minutes were. Really. And Mike is a disabled veteran. Great job Eide. "Thank you for your service" is ordinarily pretty superficial. A good job rings truer. Thank you Eide for what you do. Back to Ryan who moved the boxed junk from my trade to the new vehicle. Then he took the time to familiarize me with some of the new features. He slipped a cap on this old farmer and my wife and cruised home. Closing and all of the paper shuffling took barely 90 minutes. What a team. What a good experience. Thank you.
