I am 44 yrs young. Keep in mind that I have purchased many vehicles in my time. My credit is pretty bad. I thought that I was gonna have a problem finding a car with my credit......but....I went on line many vehicles in my time. My credit is pretty bad. I thought that I was gonna have a problem finding a car with my credit......but....I went on line to fill out the application at Edwards Nissan/Kia in Council Bluffs. I didn't even complete the application, I had computer issues. Alex contacted me. But not like a annoying sales person....you know the ones I'm talking about. Alex was different. After a few texts over the course of the day. He had us come in. He was so prepared, so organized. He knew exactly what I wanted. All we had to do was sign a few papers and we was outta there with a vehicle. No down payment. The whole experience took about 30 min. I have never experienced anything like it!!!! In a world that is so harsh it's really a pleasant surprise to have such an easy experience. I highly recommend this dealership and if you are looking for a vehicle I recommend that you contact Alex Noecker. He is a right man for the job. More
Our salesman Mike Mayer and GM Chuck Norman went well out of thier way to make sure that we were not only going to be a new customer, but a customer for life. My daughter was driving her 2006 Chevy Trailblazer in Florida when is erupted into flames, a total loss. This put me into a position of needing a new car, enter Pat Collins, Internet Sales Manager. I contacted Pat and explained my situation and what my expectations were in getting a used car to replace the total loss of the Trailblazer. Pat was Great from the First contact through to closing the deal. Pat had showed us several cars that would meet our needs. After test driving the first used car, we decided to try another car, Enter Ron Phillips the Kia Sale Manager. Ron told Pat to take us to the new Kia Rio's and pick our choice and that he would give us a new Car for the same terms that I negoiated for the used Kia Rio. Pat and Ron are outstanding representatives of the Edwards Auto Group, and are part of the Heart and Soul of the Kia Dealership. After buying the Kia Rio, I told Pat and Ron that I would come back for a Kia Sorento, if they would give me a deal. Enter the General Sales Manager, John Blankenship the General Sales Manager (Former US Army) John, Ron, and Pat worked a deal on a New 2014 Kia Sorento that fit my terms, and I bought a second car in less than 72 hours. My Wife is Korean and dhe loves her new Korean Car Very Much! Mr. Edwards has assemnled a Great Team to run his Kia Dealership! More
I am absolutely livid about the customer service I have been receiving in the past few weeks. I purchased my 2011 vehicle in December. About 3 weeks ago, it starts sputtering and shaking pretty roughly, an been receiving in the past few weeks. I purchased my 2011 vehicle in December. About 3 weeks ago, it starts sputtering and shaking pretty roughly, and the check engine light comes on. I was told to go to Edwards Hyundai Subaru when I need service, but the lady in their service told me I couldn't even drop it off until Wednesday (It was a Friday). So I called LM Nissan. The guy I spoke to at that point said that they didn't have any loaners or anything at that point, but he would talk to his manager and call me right back. This was at about 1:30 during my lunch break. I received ZERO follow-ups and finally called back when I got off work, only to be told that service is closed, and to just leave a message. After leaving a cordial message (it takes quite a bit to xxxx me off) I was called Saturday morning, and dropped off my car, even though I knew they didn't have a loaner available. For five days, I dealt without having a car, only to be called and told that they had no idea what was wrong, and to come pick it up. So I leave work, pick it up, and on the way back, it's still shaking and studdering. Enough to keep me alarmed. I call back in, and I'm told to just bring it back, and they'll look at it "sometime this week" even though I've gone four days without a car, and I have a job that I can't exactly avoid. I told him I would call him in a day or two, and we would figure it out then. On that following Thursday, I call to be told there is still no loaner, and I cannot be without a car, as I have a 20 minute commute to work, and no one to carpool with. Harry told me he would call me back as soon as there was a vehicle available. A week and a half later, I have received no call. The check engine light comes back on today, and I call in to see the status on a loaner, JUST TO BE TOLD THAT THE LAST TWO WERE GIVEN OUT THIS MORNING. I was WAITING on a call. So, as if I don't have work to deal with, I'm told to bring it in Monday and we'll see then if there is a loaner available. I'm sorry, but this is the absolute worst customer service I have received. DO NOT tell your client you will follow up with them, if you won't. I know that there are probably many people with car issues, who need a car as much as I do, which is why I was patient for 2+ weeks and waited for a temp car. I have been patient with this service agent, until today. This is absolutely ridiculous. More
I would like to start by saying that I do love my vehicle however if I had to option to do it over again I would NOT buy from Lake Manawa Kia. I had a great experience until they knew they had me. After that the salesman, Darrell put chew in his mouth and continued to close the deal...disgusting! The finance department forgot to get my check and then made a big fuss about how they needed it right away...not my fault. Then when I brought my car in for my 1000 mile checkup I asked them to vacuum my car and they didn't. By the time I realized it, it would have been a bigger waste of my time to go back in inside, have them take my car back in and vacuum it than it was worth. Then I referred two people to get cars there. One of them went in and met with my salesman, Darrell and he was rude and refused to work with her. He even tried to tell her it was a good idea to create a sunroof than find a car that already had one. She ended up purchasing from H&H. The other friend I referred forgot the referral card when she came in the first time and presented it the second time she came in when she did all the paperwork and bought the car. Three weeks later the Sales Manager Chuck Norman has just told me that I am not getting the referral bonus because the process was not followed correctly and essentially called myself and my friend a liar. The finance department also screwed my friend when they cashed her check before the agreed upon date and she had to go through a bunch of trouble to get it reversed and get the overdraft fees taken care of. By far the worst dealership I have ever worked with. Horrible customer service experience. The sellers pressure way too much into buying extra contracts. Due to the fact that contacts can be canceled within a month I signed the forms and reviewed them at home. Cancelation process takes nearly a month and around 7 angry phone calls. They do absolutely nothing to help the process and will not follow up on anything you ask. I was surprised at how they have such good ratings when my experience was so rotten. I will never go back to work with the dealer again and wish I could go back in time just to work with a different dealer. I love the car I bought from them. To bad the dealership has to be so horrible. More

I received a call from Teddy immediately the morning after I had filled out some information on the web site. After speaking with him for only a few minutes and getting some more information about the kind of car I was interested in, I couldn't wait to meet him. At first I was interested in a Nissan X-terra. When my wife and I arrived at the dealership he had a completely different car for me to look at which wound up being the car that I purchased. I didn't mind this at all because with as much experience as he has I knew he would help me find the right car that would fit my needs and financial situation. Working with Teddy was an amazing experience. He not only found the right car for me but he also helped put us at ease during the financing process which can be a little nerve-racking. I would highly recommend Teddy G to anyone that needs to purchase a new car because he uses his extensive knowledge, experience and amazing personality to help you find the best car for your needs. Unlike other calls we had received, Marc was very accommodating to our specific needs, not just focussed on making a sale. He kept in touch with us but we never felt pressured. After visiting several car dealers here in Lincoln, NE, we set an appt with Marc in Councli Bluffs, IA to see what Marc could do for us. We were very impressed with him and all the staff at Lake Manawa Kia. We opted for the Sorrento. After all the research we feel we got the best price, customer service, and financing even though we were 60 miles away from home. We We love our 2012 Sorrento!! We reccommend Manawa Kia and definitely Marc Leonard! More
