I was looking to lease a new car as mine had seen it's last days. I had some concerns in leasing a car as it was my first time doing so and Jason R answered all my questions and alleviated my concerns. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new car. More
Jeff was a great sales man. His knowledge of the futures on the Forester I purchased was remarkable. Unlike my last 3 vehicles I have purchased, he wasn’t the typical pushy sales guy trying I telling me wha on the Forester I purchased was remarkable. He told me what I wanted to know about the 2 vehicles I narrowed my list to and gave me plenty of time alone with both to make my decision. More

Great salesman. He worked to get the price I wanted, even though he had to bring in a manager to close the deal. Hopefully the new computer system is working better, as they had just installed new soft even though he had to bring in a manager to close the deal. Hopefully the new computer system is working better, as they had just installed new software and was causing quite a bit of lag time during negotiations (also, it was the weekend, which had numerous other customers). We were very impressed with Jeff Reeks. His explanations of features of the car were very understandable, and he answered our questions directly. When I purchased my Sonata last year, the sales team was quite good. Rob Greer was our salesman, and I have nothing bad to say about him. He was wonderful. Everything after that has been downhill. The fi quite good. Rob Greer was our salesman, and I have nothing bad to say about him. He was wonderful. Everything after that has been downhill. The finance guys couldn't follow directions and also listed our address incorrectly. When we attempted to correct this mistake (after not being able to license the vehicle, as the title information was in limbo somewhere), we were told it was our problem. Unfortunately, there was no way for us to correct any of this, so we had to continue to call to finally get it fixed. Service on the car after purchase was fair to poor. Certainly, no one made any effort to make things easy or be helpful at all. The final straw was this month. Deciding it was necessary to lower our car payments, we traded in our Sonata. I called multiple times, daily, for over a week to cancel our extended warranty and rebate the remainder to us. (The warranty is non-transferable if it's traded in.) I was repeatedly told I needed to speak with the finance department. I left numerous messages. No one called, ever. I called again and again, being told that 'everyone is busy with real customers'. Uh, excuse me, I am a customer of the dealership, too! Finally, I refused to leave another message and asked to speak to a manager or someone in customer service. Was told I needed to speak with Phil Collins. He was busy too. I had already left him messages. I spoke with a salesperson that could do nothing. Then, I spoke with another person who had answered Phil's phone. He was rude and completely unhelpful. I asked to have the form emailed to me, and have yet to see it 2 weeks later. Guess I'll have to call AGAIN. Horrible post-sale service. Will never buy another car there, and I will continue to remind everyone I know to avoid them as well. Customer service has to go all the way through the company, otherwise, don't bother. More
We purchased a used Forester, you could purchase a new one for $5000 more, we were told it had the All Weather Package another dealership informed us it did not when we went to trade it off. We were also one for $5000 more, we were told it had the All Weather Package another dealership informed us it did not when we went to trade it off. We were also told that we would be receiving our refund for our extended warrenty and gap insurance in 4 to 6 weeks. Here it is 7 weeks later and no one at Edwards Hyundai Subaru has any idea about it. Manager said he would call me back in a few minutes and I have still not received a phone call back from Rich the Manager. We owned the vehicle for 6 months, the vehicle was great but they do not make the vehicle, this has been the worst experience I have ever encountered. More
Things started off well. The salesman was friendly, not pushy and well informed. Strangely, the experience got worse as we closed the deal. I originally wanted a white car, but the dealer did not have one pushy and well informed. Strangely, the experience got worse as we closed the deal. I originally wanted a white car, but the dealer did not have one on the lot. He claimed to check a 5-state area and found no white vehicles equipped as I wanted. He went on to say that Hyundai does not make the Veloster in white with a manual transmission. Which is absolutely not true. I know because autotrader.com lists cars for sale at other dealers. Including several in the same state that had white Velosters for sale with manual transmissions. This dealer flat-out lied to us. Furthermore, we got no less than three different answers from three different people to the question of whether the warranty is transferable. Salesman: "Yes. It's transferable." Finance manager: "No. Not transferable." General sales manager: "Yes, it's transferable but only to an immediate family member." While we're no the subject of warranty, we got a litany of differing answers about the 5 year/60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. "Does it cover everything, say if a door handle breaks or a radio knob falls off." Salesman: "Yes, absolutely. It covers everything." Finance manager: "No. It probably wouldn't cover that. But if you buy our 'wrap warranty' for an extra $2000 it would be covered." Us: "What if the engine breaks inside the 10 year/100,000 mile warranty period; would that be covered." Salesman: "Yes. Absolutely." Finance manager: "Probably not. It's a limited warranty and there are all kinds of loopholes." General sales manager: "It would be covered." When we said, "You're talking us out of buying this car," the finance manager said, "Fine. If you don't buy it someone else will." Our experience encompassed everything people hate about buying cars: fast talk, bait and switch, outright lying, and that feeling you're getting ripped off. These 1970s sales tactics have no place in 2012. The lesson for this Hyundai dealer is this: They are great cars. They sell themselves in most cases. Just get out of your own way. More
