Because my family members that usually take the Jeep in for servicing were ill the job fell to me. I had been to Baxters but never to find the service area. I worried all the way there that I would go the wrong way but to my pleasant surprise the way to the service area was clearly marked. After I got there the salesmen in the service department directed me where to leave the vehicle. Randy was most helpful. He told me exactly how long it would take to complete the work, showed me where to wait and told me to help myself to a cup of coffee. While I was waiting a nice man came into the area and asked if anyone needed to be taken anywhere as he was leaving to run errands. Everyone was comfortable watching television, visiting and drinking coffee. When my vehicle was done Randy came to get me and asked if I needed any help and showed me where my vehicle had been parked. I was treated most courteously in a professional manner. I will recommend this dealership whenever asked for service as well as new vehicles. More

My initial sales experience at Baxter was underwhelming and at times comical in a shadenfreude sort of way. Aftermarket, I had them install a DVD player in the back. My vehicle was returned to me coated and at times comical in a shadenfreude sort of way. Aftermarket, I had them install a DVD player in the back. My vehicle was returned to me coated in mud which hid the 2 inch gash they made in the passenger's side rearview mirror housing. They also forgot to reinstall the headliner and perform the vehicle undercoating which was part of my orginial purchase agreement. Given the high number of perfect reviews Baxter has recieved on this website I guess I just took my vehicle in on the wrong day. Maybe things are better with routine maintenance--I wouldn't know. I have been dealing with Randy for about 6 years now. He is Excellent at his job! He always has kind words and a friendly smile. He goes into great depths about the nature of my service issues. Since the purchase of my 2003 PT Cruiser from Baxter, their service dept has done all repairs. There is no finer car salesman on the face of the earth than Charles Saxton. He is extremely knowledgable about his product and cares about the needs of his customer. On each one I told him what my needs were and he was able to meet them. Whether it was for a new car or a less expensive used one for one of my kids, Charles treated me in the same exceptional manner. On each occasion I left feeling that I had gotten the best possible price without having to haggle. Charles' hadshake meant that I had gotten a fair deal. After the sale Charles has consistantly followed up with me and on the rare occasion where I had a problem, Charles was there to make sure it was taken care of. I have never left Baxter, eith sales or service, not feeling confident that I was treated fairly. Infact, I have always felt that I had gotten an excellent deal. Before starting a relationship with Baxter, I never really felt sure that I was not taken advantage of. I will continue to be a Baxter customer as long as people like Charles Saxton work there. This is the worst dealership anyone could go to... we bought a 2011 Black Ops Wrangler from the dealership and ended up taking it back in under a week. The salesman Rodney Bloodworth was horrible, actually had the nerve to yell at my wife and I saying we wasted their time when we weren't able to drop our BRAND NEW car off to be fixed in time because the abs module was bad in it. When we expressed our frustration in a professional manner he told us to "not get pissed off, no need to raise our blood pressure." They said it would take over a week to get the jeep fixed, lost our spare key, and were rude throughout the process. We have had friends tell us that they tried getting their cars scheduled for service and they were told there was a 2 week wait just to get it looked at. The to top it all off, after we took the Jeep back, they didn't cancel the paperwork with the bank and we are now going round on that. Save yourself the hassle and keep on driving past this dealership. More
