My husband and I had a very good experience with purchasing our vehicle from Baxter. He was very patient with us as we had a lot of questions - did not feel rushed in any way. He had a good sense of humor and we seemed to laugh a lot at things. My husband and I decided to order lunch at a fast food chain that delivered as we were getting a little hungry. When our order arrived Nick had picked up the bill. He went above and beyond as we did not expect for him to do this in the least. Since purchasing our SUV from Baxter Nick has followed up with me a couple of times asking how things were going and if we had any questions. I think this shows he really cares about his customers. Sarah Bergsten - finance manager at Baxter was very friendly and personable also. We enjoyed talking and working with her as well. Overall, everyone there was great that we came into contact with. My husband and I went into this that day with some degree of anxiety. We were very pleased with how everything went and wouldn't hesitate to refer friends and family there. Thank you. More
This was one of the most painless auto purchases I have ever made. Very helpful through out the whole procedure. The sales process was a good experiance. Jacob did a good job demoing the vehicle and taking us on a test drive. Jon Nunnenkamp did an excellent job of showing me the various options on the Dodge Ram trucks. We test drove two trucks in the middle of blowing snow; Jon was very patient in retrieving the vehicles for various options on the Dodge Ram trucks. The negotiation process went well and Jon seemed to really fight for my target price. The only dissappointment in the process was how the vehicle was preparred to take home. The detail shop missed alot of things inside the truck that should have been cleaned up better, missing floor mats, etc. Jon apologized numerous times and said he would have the vehicle detailed when I brought it back to get the extra items added to the truck. I leased 2 Jeep Libertys from Harold and was very happy. So, when it came time to purchase a new vehicle, I returned to Harold for the 3rd time. I got a fantastic deal on a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited So, when it came time to purchase a new vehicle, I returned to Harold for the 3rd time. I got a fantastic deal on a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Unfortunately, right from the get-go, I had problems. With only 11 miles on the car, I immediately noticed that they keyless entry worked sporadically. I brought that Jeep in for service at least a dozen times over the next 12 months but the keyless entry system was not fixed. I had the key fobs replaced twice, the entire control module was replaced as well, but it still didn't work. There were other issues with the Jeep as well. I ended up having 3 horns in it (replaced twice). And, right before I traded it off exactly 1 year to the day later, the windshield wipers stopped working. I understand getting a lemon vehicle. That happens, BUT, neither Baxter nor Performance did anything to attempt to retain me as a customer. When I complained about the service, Harold Collins told me that, "if I wanted better service, I should have bought a Lexus." He also told me that "sometimes cars have problems and you just have to live with it." After that, I tried Performance Jeep, which is owned by the same company. They could never fix my vehicle either, so when I got to the end of my rope I went to them first to see if they would get me a deal on a new vehicle. I was shocked that I was able to get a BETTER price ($1,000 less) on the same vehicle from another dealership and even more shocked that I was able to get more money from my trade-in on the lemon Jeep ($1,000 more). I was mistaken in thinking that Performance/Baxter would like to keep me as a customer, and get me a good price on a new vehicle, and get me the most possible on my trade-in. Randomly, I had taken a survey from a representative from Chrysler and mentioned my keyless entry problems. It was nerve racking when the representative from Chrysler called me back to inform me of Baxter's responses to my complaints. They claimed that my keyless entry didn't work because I live too close to Offutt Air Force base in Bellevue, NE. I don't live or work anywhere near Bellevue, nor had my Jeep ever even been to Bellevue in the 1 year that I owned it. So, if that claim were to be true, it would mean that all cars in the Omaha metro area would have keyless entry problems and I know to be incorrect. That statement was made by Todd Webster, the service department manager. So, at the end of it all, I will never buy another Jeep product, nor would I ever shop at Baxter or Performance. My issues are less with Jeep than they are with how both Baxter and Performance handled the problems. I had no idea how little they valued me as a customer. More

I went to Baxter Jeep on the recommendation of a friend, who has a friend that is selling at Baxter Jeep, and that is Mark Edwards. Once I met Mark and we started talking about what I was looking for, he dug in and helped me find what I wanted, at the price I had to have. Mark was very knowledgeable, helpful, and listened to what I said. He helped me in a no non-sense fashion, which is what I like, and we got the deal done. I have recommended Mark and Baxter to others, and I will return myself because of Mark. I couldn't be happier with vehicle, the dealership, and working with Mark. More

All the people we worked with were very friendly and extremely helpful. We were totally at ease with them and felt no pressure at all.
