I went to Baxter looking for a great car, used but not damaged, and around my price range. Randall was friendly right from the get-go and he even answered his phone trying to help me once while he was hom damaged, and around my price range. Randall was friendly right from the get-go and he even answered his phone trying to help me once while he was home with his family. I have been there 3 times this week getting the car all finished with the licensing, etc. and everyone has been wonderful! The whole process of looking at my new car, going through the payment options, getting financed, and taking the car home with me only took 2 hours on my lunch break! I will be going here again for my next vehicle and I would reccommend anyone from Baxter anytime to my friends and my family! They are awesome! More
My wife and I, along with our 16 month old baby, went to Baxter to look into buying a new Ram truck. Earlier that day, I spoke with Mr. Crutcher and explained what type of truck I was looking for and set u Baxter to look into buying a new Ram truck. Earlier that day, I spoke with Mr. Crutcher and explained what type of truck I was looking for and set up an approximate time to see him that evening. When we arrived, he had already positioned two trucks for us to look at near the front of the lot. After we looked at those vehicles. He worked with us for several hours answering our questions and coordinating an agreement. He was both professional and friendly. I would definitely work with him again and recommend him to our friends and family. More
I live in Virginia, and had been looking into purchasing a Dodge Challenger for several months. We have several local dealerships and I had visited most of them over a three month period. Most of the dealer a Dodge Challenger for several months. We have several local dealerships and I had visited most of them over a three month period. Most of the dealerships had a good selection of vehicles, but I was not particularly impressed with the product knowledge, or pricing, at any of them. While perusing a Challenger-specific forum online I came across a series of posts relating to Baxter Dodge...basically a number of folks who had purchased their Challenger from Lee Brown at Baxter Dodge and were sharing their experiences. What caught my attention was that a fair number of these people were from states other than Nebraska. A day or so later I fired off an email to Lee. We exchanged a few emails and then a few telephone calls...I found Lee to be extremely friendly and easy-going and very knowledgable on the subject of Challengers. He answered all of my questions and sent me pictures and specs of the Challenger I was interested in. Within a day or so we reached an agreement and I had a deal on a Challenger with the options I wanted that was quite a bit better than anything I found locally...even taking into account the shipping costs. Once we got the ball rolling I was introduced to Charles Saxton, who guided me through all of the paperwork and titling issues, established a schedule for prep and delivery, and basically kept me up-to-date on the progress every step of the way. Any time I had a question Charles got back to me very quickly with the information I needed. So to make a long story short...my first email inquiry went out to Lee on March 16 and the Challenger was delivered via trailer directly to my driveway on April 7...fully prepped and spotless. And, as somewhat of a car nut, I was pleasantly surprised to find no dealership badging or stickers on the car, and no license plate bracket drilled into the front bumper. I will admit I was more than a bit nervous about purchasing a car sight unseen from a dealership 1200 miles away, but in hindsight this was one of the most stress-free car buying experiences I have ever had. I very much enjoyed working with Lee and Charles and I appreciate their enthusiasm and high level of professionalism...they are definitely "car guys". Needless to say, Baxter will be on my short list the next time I need to buy a car. Thanks guys! More
I just thought it was worth mentioning my recent experience at Baxter Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge in Omaha, NE. I had a glowing recommendation from several coworkers for Baxter and I am not disappointed in experience at Baxter Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge in Omaha, NE. I had a glowing recommendation from several coworkers for Baxter and I am not disappointed in my decision to go through Charles for my first new car in 7 years. Charles made the experience very easy and pressure free. I had done my research on pricing for the new 2012 Charger R/T Plus AWD and other options and after a very nice, thorough test drive with Charles I was quoted a price I couldn't walk away from. I intended on getting to this price after some negotiations based on past experience at other dealerships, but this was right out of the gate. I appreciate/appreciated that. Charles went above and beyond to locate a vehicle for me that was exactly to my specification and I couldn't be happier with the overall experience. I do want to comment on the test drive also. I have gone through the new car buying experience in the past, including a few other dealers prior to arriving at Baxter. None of the test drives I had been on with other dealerships were anything more than the typical drive around the block a little bit and then get asked 20 times how i liked the car and did I want to go inside and talk numbers. Charles and I went on a scenic 15-20 minute test drive through different road surfaces showing how the car reacted to all of them and let me take my time deciding. Again, appreciated. I went home that night and explained to my wife how great of an experience it was. Another thing to note is the other dealers/salesmen I had spoken to prior to Baxter did not seem to know or appreciate the product they were selling. I always ask at least a 'few' questions I know the answer to in advance to see if the salesman is 'worthy of my commission' and Charles was quick to answer, correctly, any/all questions I had about the Charger i was interested in. It just speaks to his interest in their products as he had an enthusiasts knowledge of the vehicles. A++ Charles :) You can put money on the fact that next time we are due for a new vehicle that I'll be going straight to Charles and the team at Baxter C/J/D. I have no complaints, this was the best car-buying experience i've had, to date. Thanks Charles, Lee, and the whole team at Baxter. More

Lee reached out to me on a forum. Had exactly what I was looking for on order & in production. Andrew worked out a great finance deal with the banks and answered my numerous questions. As it was the first t looking for on order & in production. Andrew worked out a great finance deal with the banks and answered my numerous questions. As it was the first time I'd ever purchased a brand new car and first time I bought a brand new car our of state. Once car arrived they drove it up to me. These guys are #1. Can't go wrong. Live out of state? No problem. They take care of you. One of these days I will make it down to give them a proper handshake. Love my new Challenger 392! More
I brought my van in for a check engine light and to check the power steering. I was told the issue with the check engine light was a hole in the fuel filler tube and was quoted $600 to replace. I did it fo the power steering. I was told the issue with the check engine light was a hole in the fuel filler tube and was quoted $600 to replace. I did it for $130 which was high but needed the part the next day. They also told me the only thing wrong with the power steering was dirty fluid so I agreed to have it flushed at $100. When I picked the van up the power steering was making a horrible noise. I drove it back into the service bay and they told me it was just air. If the system was flushed there should not have been any air in it, but I left my mistake. The noise did not go away but got worse. Brought it back in yesterday and was told it would cost another $170 to replace the power sterring reservoir becasue the filter was dirty. How was this not caught when I brought it in the first time and why did someone not look at it when I questioned the noise when I picked it up the first time. If it not had been for the concern of damaging the car furthere I would have done the work my self for about $40. There could have been serious damage done to the pump or rack allowing me to drive it home the way it was, besides the fact that the system could have failed and cause an accident. I doubt that anyone really cares since I will no longer do business with your service department again. I can tell you I will do my best to let everyone I know to not trust your department either. I originally visited Baxter to test drive a vehicle that I had seen advertised on the internet. I found out that the vehicle had been sold and was then offered several other similar vehicles to try. I was I had seen advertised on the internet. I found out that the vehicle had been sold and was then offered several other similar vehicles to try. I was having a hard time deciding what direction I wanted to go in purchasing, so the manager allowed for me to take two different vehicles home to test drive for 24 hours each. Having a bit of extra time really helped me decide what exactly I was after, and I appreciated that, me being completely satisfied with the vehicle I selected, was the top priority of the dealership. In the end, I ended up in a brand new Jeep Cherokee which, was something that had not originally been a vehicle that I was interested in. However, after eliminating other choices, this was recommended to me based on features I had mentioned I wanted in my vehicle. Kenny was very patient with me and helped me find just the right vehicle. He presented many options of ways that I could upgrade but made it clear that it was entirely my decision. He also helped me figure out the best financing option. I even won $100 in a March Madness promotion that they had going on during the month. All the add-ons for extended warranties, etc. is a bit annoying but a person just has to go in knowing that it will be offered and have an idea as to whether it is something he or she wants and then stick with that decision. I had a great experience and would be happy to recommend Kenny and the rest of the staff at Baxter to family and friends. More
I normally don't waste my time completing these surveys but I had such a great experience dealing with Randall Crutcher. He was very friendly, got to the point, fun, and professional. One of the best sales but I had such a great experience dealing with Randall Crutcher. He was very friendly, got to the point, fun, and professional. One of the best salesman I have dealt with. He worked with me over the internet and finished up in his office. I would recommend him any day. I have purchased 2 previous vehicles from performance in ralston and will never do it again. Baxter is a more friendly environment. They seem to be there for you and not them. More
Randall did outstanding work with us on the sales end. Did excellent work replying on a timely manner, showed the jeep to us and its features in a very freindly manner and appropriate manner. I enjoyed t Did excellent work replying on a timely manner, showed the jeep to us and its features in a very freindly manner and appropriate manner. I enjoyed the internet buying experience but did not appreciate the sales on the extended warranty and from your finance staff. I would say that was the worst experience I ever had. Randall was a ten, finance failed. His approach to a customer was less than acceptable. The staff that put on my mudflaps did very good a was ok with me not wanting undercoating or any other items. They were put on very timely and without any issue. Thanks I use the internet to not get all the song and dance about car buying. I have been owning cars for roughly 2 to 3 years before trading and do not finance them. I would prefer a much simpler approach to completing the transaction than I recieved. Why would you sell a extended warranty to me when you already are selling one of the best warrantys in the business ie the 100,000 mile power train warranty? I am used to repairing machinery and it was annoying to me to get that song and dance. I gave you a 5 for friendliness b/c of Randall. If it had been b/c of the finance guy I would have given you a 1. Same would have been for customer service. Quality of work came from Randall and the staff putting on mudflaps. More
