The price of the jeep may have been a little more then expected but my dealer was more than willing to work with me and was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the brand, which was critical in the selection process. I was particularly impressed that I received multiple calls from my dealer during the few weeks after the purchase was finalized simply to ensure my satisfaction and that I was enjoying my vehicle. It was a very simple and fairly painless process that was much more enjoyable than anticipated. I would definitely recommend the dealership to other customers in the market and I would also definitely recommend my dealer, Amos. More

Loyal showed consideration for us, not as people who were just buying a car, but as people who are part of the Baxter family. We felt and feel comfortable with the company. My fiance and I went here back in January and were very disappointed. We found a car we liked (2012 Chrysler 200), but they refused to go down in price (around $13,000) and only offered $200 or $300 for my disappointed. He was with a buddy who knew the owner of a dealership in Plattsmouth. Before even going there they dropped the price of a 2011 Chrysler 200 to $11,900. It had similar mileage to the 2012 model. And once we were finally able to get out of this dealership (they really didn't want us to go, yet refused to lower the price and for a cash buy!) we headed down there to check out the car. It was even better than the one Baxter had. It happened to be a Touring model rather than just the base and we got a much better deal. Oh and I sold my old car for $2000. If they had actually worked with us we might have bought the car there. But in all honesty, I got a much better car that I absolutely love! They were friendly, at first. Then it went to the reasons why they absolutely could not lower the price and could not offer more for my car, etc. They weren't very understanding of our time and the fact that we told them we wanted to go home and think about it. Stop pressuring to buy right then and there. More
This is my 2nd vehicle purchased through Baxter CJD and the 2nd time i've worked with Charles Saxton. He's very personable, no pressure (heck, i was probably the one pressuring haha), and down to earth. He was as excited about my new car as I was, and it was refreshing. I give 5 stars across the board, purely due to Charles and his coworkers. There was a slight issue (not his fault) with the Form6 not being in my paperwork so when I went to register my vehicle I had to get a copy and go back, but that is a very minor thing in the list of things that 'could' go wrong when there is so much going on. VERY happy with my experience at Baxter CJD and Charles, which is why i'm a returning customer. If my wife ever lets me buy ANOTHER vehicle, i'll be sure to head back to Baxter CJD and track Charles down. Thanks Charles. More
I would NEVER recommend going to this dealership-EVER!!! I only wish I had known this before we wasted our precious time there. We were offered $200 for our minivan which was worth well over $3000 (and we I only wish I had known this before we wasted our precious time there. They were calling me a LIAR!!!! I could go on and on about the shady practices there. STAY AWAY!!! More
The worst customer service I've ever experienced even when dealing with the manager. I took my car in on a Monday, it was supposed to be done on Wednesday so I arranged a ride to work that morning (I li when dealing with the manager. I took my car in on a Monday, it was supposed to be done on Wednesday so I arranged a ride to work that morning (I live 45 outside of Omaha.) At 3:30pm on Wednesday I got a call saying "we ordered the wrong parts so your car won't be done until Friday, possibly Monday?" I was going out of the state Thursday-Monday so I had to rent a car for $330 all because they ordered the wrong part. When discussing the bill with the manager I told him if they would pay for at least half of the rental I would be happy and probably be back within 6 months to purchase a newer vechicle. He said it was the manufacturer who messed up, not the service department... (like IGAF) and then he said no a gave a smirk and gesture to leave. My car is filthy, you would think if a guy spends ovver $1000 they would at least clean the car up a little bit! More
