They run credit reports w/out peoples knowledge, they do not want to fix their fraudulent action & give a letter of deletion per credit bureaus. IT IS ILLEGAL for a dealership to run a hard pull of credit w not want to fix their fraudulent action & give a letter of deletion per credit bureaus. IT IS ILLEGAL for a dealership to run a hard pull of credit without their knowledge. When I found out thru an alert from my credit alert that this "company" had ran my credit, I immediately called this dealership and explained that I didn't give permission for anyone to use my name or information. I don't recall for sure the guys name but I want to say "James", apologized and said that he was sorry and his information would be shredded. I then spoke with the credit bureaus and they said to get a letter of deletion from the dealership. It has been a couple weeks since I called said dealership and was told they would see what they could do, Edward is who I talked to and was told this. Today 5/17/2021 I call the dealership to inquire about the letter of deletion. This Edward guy changed his story and said "when I called you gave permission", good thing I have Verizon and have already pulled my incoming/outgoing calls for date they ran my credit. Also what they didn't know was, I was at the police station when I called because I wanted to press charges immediately. Police officer was the one who said to call and tell them you didn't give permission. Wow, what a horrible horrible company to do buisness with! This company takes information over the phone from someone who says it's OK to use someone else information without verifying! Just because someone says "my son said it is OK to use his information" as a big dealership you would think they would verify this! Well they ABSOLUTELY DO NOT VERIFY. More
