Two failed transactions My experience started off great until we got to the table to sign, and they refused to fix the bumper. I didn't know that this dealership would sell a car with damage, and refuse to fix it. So one week later my husband was contacted about another car they had that I originally test drove first. He informed them that he wouldn't be able to make it to the dealership before they closed but we wanted the car. So they processed everything over the phone. They told him they would deliver it to our home. Called the following business day to see when they would deliver. We were told they had sold our car to someone else an hour after we purchased it by someone that had no clue what had happened. Needless to say they have done absolutely nothing to try to make this bad experience right. This dealership is the worst!! More

The worse service department I have ever dealed with ! I will never walk back in there door. The service department spilled def all over the engine of my brand. New 60.000 truck and left it. And now my engine and engine bay has corrison started in the metal. When I call them I get told a bunch of lies. I was promised to talk to a service manager when I get there. And he's not even there........ They will tell you LIES . They ended up letting two young new guys pressure wash the engine of my. New truck and wash the out side witch was not why I was there. After I was promised that the shop Forman would over see the work done to my truck. All xxxxxxxx please AWAY More

Getting a car by myself I have always gone looking at cars with a man, (husband or dad), so I was really dreading handling the whole process by myself. I did take my son, bu I have always gone looking at cars with a man, (husband or dad), so I was really dreading handling the whole process by myself. I did take my son, but he had NO experience with car trading. I was so afraid that the stereotypical car salesman would think "I can sell this one ANYTHING, she has no clue". But much to my surprise and delight, Danny Mayo walked up and shook my hand and from the first moment of our encounter treated me like I knew what I was doing. He listened to what I wanted, how much I wanted to pay and steered me away from bad decisions. He made the whole experience an enjoyable process. I never felt like he was taking advantage of me and I felt like he really had my best interests in mind. "Getting a car" has not moved up on my list of favorite things to do but it was a much more enjoyable event due to Danny. Danny was honorable and down-to-earth during the whole process. Reluctant First Timer I needed a car. I had to have one, there was no doubt about it. I had been to Edward’s Chevrolet off of Hwy. 280 here in Birmingham, Alabama, for at l I needed a car. I had to have one, there was no doubt about it. I had been to Edward’s Chevrolet off of Hwy. 280 here in Birmingham, Alabama, for at least two years and I could never commit to purchasing a car. My car died in February after the ice storm and it just got to the point where I needed a car to take my kids around and for work. Again, I went over to Edwards Chevrolet and I met Danny Mayo. His explosive personality was highly infectious. The first thing he said to me was, “I’ve been watching you for quite some time and I promise you that I’ll get you in a car.” I was afraid. I was afraid of adding debt. I was afraid of a ridiculously high car note. I was afraid on so many levels. I was purchasing my first car and I was deeply afraid. Danny promised to walk me through step by step. I was looking at the Spark because it is so cute, but honestly, it didn’t meet all of my needs. He asked me to look at the Cruze and the Sonic. I ended up liking a slightly used Sonic with only eleven thousand miles. I went on a test drive during my lunch break at work. The car had some kick. I liked the space it afforded me in the trunk for my junk! He dropped me off back at work with the application. He called back with an offer I could agree with. By the time I got off of work, I drove home in my own car! I honestly couldn’t have done it without the help of Danny Mayo! More

Normally a first time buyer would dread going to any car lot looking for a new car. I had that same feeling until my grandmother and I were approached by a jolly young man named Danny Mayo. He was genuinely enthusiastic and extremely helpful. As a car salesman, of course Mr. Mayo wanted to make the sale, but you could tell that he also wanted us to have a positive experience at Edwards Chevrolet. We gave him a price range and a vague description of the kind of car we were looking for. He showed us everything on the lot that was within those margins. When I came across a 2014 Chevy Equinox, that was not in our price range, Danny noticed that I fancied the car. He told me all about the car, even though it was not in our range. He offered to find a used or an older model that I would be interested in. We took the information home and next thing we know, Danny gives us a call and says he has a few of the Exquinox that were in our price range. We went back to the lot and Danny gave us a grand tour of the car. He showed us every button, gadget, and function of the car. We were very impressed. So much so, that we purchased the car the very next day. Danny helped set up the On Star application, as well as the Blue Tooth phone function in the car. He even called a few days later to see how we were liking the car. We are very pleased with our purchase and our experience at Edwards Chevrolet, thanks to Mr. Danny Mayo. More
