I brought my Supra here for service. After being told everything was good (including tires) my husband and I took a drive about 2.5 hours away. Our rear tires blew because of bare wire ( After being told everything was good (including tires) my husband and I took a drive about 2.5 hours away. Our rear tires blew because of bare wire (about 2 inches), causing us to leave our car on the side of the road for 2 days, pay for two new tires at the nearest tire shop (which had to order them) and drive 2.5 hours back n forth 3 times. This could have killed us if the tires had blown in the mountains at 80mph speed limits. It is a godsend that it happened when/where it did. Once we informed Edmark of what happened, they insisted on checking our car out to make sure everything was OK...which, should have been done the last time, before they said it was all good. I pulled my paperwork from the full service we had just had a couple weeks prior (at Edmark) and the paperwork said the tires were good. Once they completed their re-inspection of our car, post-incident...I went to pick it up, and was presented with a bill!! They blamed the oversight of the tires NOT being ok, on "new people." After everything, all they did was reimburse our tow. This service center is not only incompetent, but their customer service is horrendous. If I could leave negative stars, I would. Buyer Beware. Internet Sales never answered my 1 and ONLY question about the car of interest, but didn’t hesitate to dump several unrelated emails into my inbox. VERY spammy & not customer centric at all. It was the quickest and easiest car buy I Edmark. We live about 350 miles away. Rochelle, Clint, Austin and Stacey all helped us in this purchase. It was the quickest and easiest car buy I've ever had. Really appreciated the large discount off msrp as no dealers in Utah would come down a dollar from msrp. Would do business again in a heartbeat with these guys. More
Good luck getting an oil change. You have to talk to a call center……..and wait 6 weeks. Just call Petersons Toyota. I called and had an appointment in 2 days. Stacey helped us when we came to Our sales rep was Nate. We had to wait for it to come in, but when it arrived, it was everything Nate had promised. Stacey helped us when we came to pick it up and showed us all of the features. Manny helped us with Toyota's incentive financing options and Austin closed the deal. All four were professional and showed us great customer service. The overall experience was perfect. Thanks to all. Teresa Gustin More
I purchased a 2021 4Runner from Edmark Toyota in Nampa, ID on February 18, 2021. Just know that Edmark is all about doing what it takes to make a sale and get you to signed on the line. Don’t be in a hurr ID on February 18, 2021. Just know that Edmark is all about doing what it takes to make a sale and get you to signed on the line. Don’t be in a hurry and get all your questions asked before you sign because there is no ‘re-do.’ After the sale they will not call you back. Whatever is agreed upon, get it in writing from the sales man and then get the manager to also sign off. The sales department and finance departments are FINISHED with you - 100%. I had questions about the GAP insurance and less then 24 hours after I took delivery of the vehicle, they refused to allow me to sign a new contract to remove the $988 so to lower my payment. So, I decided to go ahead and then cancel the GAP insurance and signed a paper to do so; at least that is what they made me think. They never cancelled the GAP in my contract. It is a good thing I called TMC to verify the credit was posted to my account. So if you are buying a car from them; beware there is NO going back or 're-do's. Do you think this was just an accident my GAP insurance wasn’t cancelled? I think not. Today, Ive spent over two hours on the phone and writing letter(s) to arrange what should have been done by the dealership. TMC suggested I call Edmark and have them do the work. Then after my complaints, they agreed the ‘customer cancellation’ and then make the adjustment. Bypassing Edmark and deal directly with TMC saved me time, because Im certain to have gotten the ‘run around’ again from sales/finance’s poor administration. I am sure they take the short cuts in all matters; at the customers expense. You should bypass buying a new car from Edmark if at all possible; and if they happen to have the one and only car for you, be sure to CYA on every little detail while dealing with them. I have no idea how service is, I"m taking my car somewhere else - Peterson Toyota in Meridian and or Boise ID. I hope this helps someone. More
Steer Clear of this Dealer Sold me a vehicle with a coolant leak. When I made my sales guy aware of it I couldn’t get him to return my calls. I could smell the coolant day after Sold me a vehicle with a coolant leak. When I made my sales guy aware of it I couldn’t get him to return my calls. I could smell the coolant day after I bought it. I can guarantee that a service guy smelled it too before it was out on lot. Really disappointed in how this was handled. Seems like they really don’t care about service because of the switch over to Edmark Toyota. More
MANNY (FROM FINANCE) IS A SHYSTER Service at Tom Scott has changed and become very poor. They offered $200 Off for a returning customer. That's a slap in the face. Then they dragged Service at Tom Scott has changed and become very poor. They offered $200 Off for a returning customer. That's a slap in the face. Then they dragged their feet and wasted 4 hours of my time, until finally saying they'd call me another day to finalize the deal. (Which they never did, but I knew they were lying anyway.) BUT, THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL ASPECT OF THE DEAL WAS HAVING MANNY TALKING WITH WHOEVER IN FINANCE, IN LOW VOICES, IN SPANISH, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, THEN TURNING AND ADDRESSING ME IN ENGLISH WITH A LYING SMILE ON HIS FACE SAYING HE'S WORKING HARD TO GET THE DEAL DONE. FIRE THAT GUY. FIRE THEM BOTH. IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TO KNOW WHAT THEY'E TALKING ABOUT WITH AN ATTITUDE AND MANNER LIKE THAT. I WILL NOT RETURN AND WILL SPREAD THE WORD THAT TOM SCOTT (NOW EDMARK) IS THE WORST DEALER IN THE NORTHWEST. DO YOU WANT TO BE INSULTED? CHECK. DO YOU WANT TO BE SWINDLED? CHECK. THEN GO TO TOM SCOTT. DO YOU WANT PROFESSIONALISM? GO ELSEWHERE. More
Horrible customer service/salesperson very unprofessional Bought a used vehicle from Shane( would never recommend ever) car was no good barely after 30 days was told can’t help, should of bought warranty and Bought a used vehicle from Shane( would never recommend ever) car was no good barely after 30 days was told can’t help, should of bought warranty and just pushed aside, was texted the sale went through nothing they can do. Never asked what problem was, how could he help, just that I had not bought a warranty numerous times and I was stuck. Buying used cars is totally a crap shoot, the minute there was a problem I was treated so bad, I wanted nothing for free, but also not to be swindled as well, I have drove this car 250 miles, it has 48000 on it and it runs so bad, they either knew or never checked out even though I asked numerous times and was told nothing major at all found, mysteriously something major after 250 miles and I was told to take a hike. First class staff, top to bottom. First, I had great service from the parts counter 3 years ago, while rebuilding a Corrolla. That got me "hooked" on Tom Scott Toyota. So when I decide First, I had great service from the parts counter 3 years ago, while rebuilding a Corrolla. That got me "hooked" on Tom Scott Toyota. So when I decided to buy the first new vehicle I've ever owned, (after 49 years of driving), I sought out Tom Scott. I wasn't disappointed, and appreciated the professional, no pressure, sales approach they evidently use. I pretty well knew what I wanted, and was directly taken to a truck I ended up buying the night I visited the dealership. Travis in the sales dept. and Brian in finance were a pleasure to work with, along with Brodie in the service dept. Each had a fantastic can-do attitude. Travis took plenty of time to walk through the features of the truck and emphasized he would be happy to help after the sale if I had any questions or issues. I'd recommend any of these fellows to anyone looking for decent people to work with when buying a new vehicle More
