My experience at Nissan of Edison was really one-of-a-kind. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by the sales team and pleasantly partnered with a salesman named Qadir who went above and beyo one-of-a-kind. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by the sales team and pleasantly partnered with a salesman named Qadir who went above and beyond to make sure that my new purchase was a purchase I was happy and satisfied with. Qadir is client focused, extremely knowledgeable of the vehicle inventory and set realistic expectations for me from the beginning. He understood the budget I was working with and paired me with the options that made sense for my needs. I can’t thank him enough for being honest and trustworthy. I then met the sales management team and John was truly a pleasure to work with also. They collectively managed to get me out of my current lease, which wasn’t the easiest task, and they worked extremely hard to get me into a beautiful 2023 Nissan Rogue SUV at a really really great price. The dealership itself is going through a beautiful renovation. The dealership is really big and spacious and the bathrooms were extremely clean. Overall, I give this dealership a five star rating. Even while I was sitting down at the salesman’s desk, I observed other salesmen being equally kind and dedicated to their clients and working the best deals for everyone in the dealership. I drove all the way from Queens New York City, just to do business with Nissan of Edison and their amazing sales team. I recommend anyone looking for a new vehicle to come to this dealership. I cannot wait to refer my friends and family and continue to purchase vehicles from this dealership. More
Terrible experience. Went on Saturday and agreed on a price w the sales guy as well as the manager for a car for my parents. Monday they go back and after reviewing their Went on Saturday and agreed on a price w the sales guy as well as the manager for a car for my parents. Monday they go back and after reviewing their paperwork nothing was honored. Not their monthly payment, not the total amount of the car, not the timeframe, nothing. When I called back, sales guy told me it must have been the finance manager which of course did not have a voicemail and would not answer. The total amount of the car was astronomical for what it was…. So terribly upset that people do this. More
My advice is to go to a different Nissan dealership. The internet sales department gives fake pricing. Then they don’t return calls or voicemails. I wasted 3 days and a bunch o calls dealing with them. The internet sales department gives fake pricing. Then they don’t return calls or voicemails. Let me start by saying I rarely leave reviews. .. but the experience that I had at this dealership was so horrendous that I need to warn other people about them. We recently leased a Nissan Rogu .. but the experience that I had at this dealership was so horrendous that I need to warn other people about them. We recently leased a Nissan Rogue. The salesman was fantastic - we loved working with Demarcus. However, the Sales Manager, Jimmy, was not wonderful. We arranged a really excellent deal and after running a credit check and setting up the insurance, Jimmy came back to tell us that he "forgot" to add in tax. Thus negating the lease payout on our current vehicle AND adding an extra $20/month to the lease terms. I'm not sure how a Sales Manager could "forget" about tax, but here we are. We needed a car so we proceeded. They "detailed" the car for us before giving it to us. In the morning after looking at the car it was clear that this was a rush job. There's plastic, adhesive and stickers all over the car. There's dirt all over the car and what looks like pollen all over the hood of the vehicle. I called the dealership 3 different times attempting to reach Jimmy and NEVER got a call back. When the insurance was inputted for the new vehicle using the app, however they chose to input it ended up raising our premium SIGNIFICANTLY and we received zero explanation for that. And finally, part of our deal with Jimmy was that ALL DMV, motor vehicle fees, taxes, and first month's lease payment were to be included in the down payment that we arranged. When our plates came into the dealership (on the LAST DAY that the temporary plates were valid), we were informed that there would be a $75 charge to pick up the plates... which Jimmy conveniently forgot to mention, just like he forgot to calculate the tax on the vehicle. (This is a charge that I had never heard of from any other dealership, nor had any of my family members or friends). Allegedly, Jimmy miscalculated the weight of the vehicle and inputted the weight for a sedan when we leased an SUV. And somehow once again we were responsible for HIS error. We called back the dealership and spoke to a service manager who transferred us to the finance manager. The finance manager told me that he needed to go double check with Demarcus... even though I heard from Demarcus later that day AND HE WAS NO LONGER WORKING FOR THE DEALERSHIP. Once again, I never received a call back. When we went down to the dealership, Jimmy was extremely unpleasant to deal with. He was rude, interrupted me multiple times and talked over me to prove his point. He was argumentative about the $75 and after checking with his superior to waive the fee, he came back abruptly and told us to have a nice day without ever actually telling us what the end result would be, before storming away. This entire experience was so unpleasant. Stay away and do yourself a favor if you do decide to get your next car from Edison Nissan - DO NOT deal with Jimmy. He's dishonest, manipulative and argumentative. More
Edison Nissan is one of the most shadiest automobile dealerships in New Jersey . The sales representatives and sales managers lie about any and everything to get you to sign a deal, they promise service dealerships in New Jersey . The sales representatives and sales managers lie about any and everything to get you to sign a deal, they promise service deals they don’t follow through with and they never make wrongs right by any means !! I leased a car from there, signed a contract, left with the car then the sales representative calls me back saying that the loan didn’t go through and I had to come back to resign the loan. Upon my return when signing the new contact the finance guy tried to be slick hoping I wouldn’t actually read the new contract and low and behold my payment went up well over $100 to which I told them take the car back and give me back my trade in. The sales manager came and said take the car and they will work it out and call me back when they’ve resolved the matter now this was in July.. I drove the new car until October before they called me back to come sign the deal with the original numbers. They promised me free oil changes because of the mishap so for majority of the oil changes I was getting free oil changes then all of a sudden they started charging me for oil changes. So sometimes I would have to pay and some times oil changes were free. The last 2 times I went oil changes were free then this past oil change the service technician charged me for the oil change and when I asked him why I get charged sometimes and why I don’t he put my information in the computer and told me I was right and I shouldn’t be charged for oil changes. So I call to inquire about this matter and spoke to Cassandra who is a fast talking individual who handles customer service who informed me there’s no record of anything saying I was supposed to get free oil changes but she can see in the system where for the majority of the lease I’ve been getting free oil changes so what in writing do you need to see to know clearly if I’ve been getting free oil changes for 90% of the life of this lease that should tell you I was told my oil changes were to be free and clearly the service department knows this based on what’s in their system if they were the ones providing the free service ! So Cassandra continued to talk fast and over me basically telling me there’s no record of anything stating I get free oil changes even though the service records show I’ve gotten free oil changes for the majority of the life of this contract !!! Edison Nissan is shady, does shady business and operates shady !! If you want to get screwed over take your money and business to Edison Nissan !!! More
Edit: Issue resolved I noticed a response to my review the day after I posted it, so I did as it said and reached out to Jamie Rusignuolo who was able to get the dealer to knock off all those xx fees and the day after I posted it, so I did as it said and reached out to Jamie Rusignuolo who was able to get the dealer to knock off all those xx fees and honor the advertised price that same day! Jamie was a pleasure to work with and I'm glad I reached out and saved over $7k, thanks! Original: False advertising and a day full of lies. I went in today to look at a car listed for $27,995. The website says, "Price includes all costs to be paid by consumer, except for licensing costs, registration fees, and taxes.", but after my test drive when it came time to buy I realized that was their first lie. They acknowledged the $27,995 price and then added $3,995 for a "mandatory certified warranty that protects me and them" and $2,995 for PDSI. The warranty being mandatory was the next lie because they took it off while negotiating, just in a different amount than they quoted it for (explained more below). Combined with taxes and titling, this came to an "out the door" price of $38,800! I was expecting around $31k out the door like their advertisement suggested. I wound up trying to offer $34k, which was still ridiculous, but given I've heard the car market has been crazy lately I didn't run away just yet. They came back and said the lowest they could do was $36,500, *without* the warranty. I said "I can't do that" and the manager said "can't or won't?" which annoyed me, as if the difference mattered when they were already charging thousands more in made up charges than both their ad and fine print suggested. I wound up leaving and was so frustrated at the time that I didn't even realize until I was on my way home that the price of $38,800 minus the $3,995 warranty they took off (that they originally said they couldn't) should have been much less than their "lowest" price of $36,500! $38,800-$3,995 is $34,805. I'm glad I left now that I know they were just trying to trick me. After getting home and realizing that it was a scam, I went to check Edison Nissan's reviews and unfortunately there are a bunch of other people with the similar stories, so here I am adding my story to the list. All this is without even mentioning how ridiculous $2,995 for PDSI is! Hopefully this helps to save someone from wasting their time as well. I haven't bought a car in 8 years and this was the first dealership I went to. I'm hoping I'll have better luck somewhere else. More

Warning stay away from this dealership, sales team is awesome , bought my 2019 “ certified Sentra “ in aug 2021. Immediately the next day car had problems , hence it was never certified. Bad brakes, fron awesome , bought my 2019 “ certified Sentra “ in aug 2021. Immediately the next day car had problems , hence it was never certified. Bad brakes, front crash sensors warning lights and both recalls where never done before selling . Service did fix the sensors and recall the following week but obviously never did the brakes. Service dept as previously noted from other customers will “ email you “ your invoice / report and never will. 2nd vin etching scam they charge you for something that’s already been done when the car was sold brand new, then at 9pm when they are closing and you been there all evening they tell you they will adjust it and never do. Then the finance manager will say “ well did you get it in writing “ no your fool but do you recognize that you sold a fraudulent charge ? Ok now to the most frustrating part , communication. So they sold me gap insurance “ you know $900.00 for this charge ( rip off ) use your insurance company’s gap insurance for Pennie’s on the dollars. They sell your gap to some company called api . My car was totaled on 6/28/2022, My insurance totaled the car the next day and they paid their part one week later to Nissan motors financial. Now the gap insurance company gets involved and on Aug 19th 2022 they reviewed all the documents and said Edison Nissan paperwork is wrong and needs clarification. Their dates didn’t match up with the finance agreement. Ok no big deal right ? Well 3 months later Edison Nissan still never fixed the issue , not only didn’t fix it they won’t call the company back or myself ? It took to the first week of November that I had enough and took time out of my day and drove there and made a scene with these guys. Denial denial etc is all you get from this place. Gap insurance company noted over 10 attempts to get ahold of the finance manager. Oh the reason why I had to go down there because Gap insurance finally denied my claim due to Edison Nissan lack of communication and responsibility. Now the Gap insurance company has to restart the whole process and more waiting. I had to just pay off the loan myself out of pocket so that I could purchase another car ( new Nissan rouge ) from a much more reputable local Nissan dealership. Still in mid December the gap insurance still hasn’t paid out yet. Oh one more thing don’t buy their 100,000 mile extended warranty for what ever it was $2500. Bec you won’t get a refund if the car is totaled and you don’t use the remaining milage of the warranty because we didn’t by the “ certified warranty. Stay away , look at reviews , find a dealership that doesn’t have communication problems. Simple fix Bec their sales team is great , the product is great, just their management foundation in all parts of their business needs a big overhaul. More
