When I first arrived me and my family felt welcome and appreciated. The Salesmen Dave Thomas was knowledgeable and patient with us as were were very indecisive. The Finance Manager Christian was very thorough in explaining the financing process and making sure were were financially comfortable with our decision. Everyone there was very helpful. They really are like one big happy family. More

Unfortunately my car recently died on me and I was unprepared for it. Luckily, with the help of Stephen I was able to drive out of Edison Nissan in a new car. More

Rude salesmen, bait and switch sales tactic Saw a 2015 Infiniti Q50 for sale at Edison Nissan, and I reached out thinking it was a reputable dealer. The price listed online was $20,861, and I co Saw a 2015 Infiniti Q50 for sale at Edison Nissan, and I reached out thinking it was a reputable dealer. The price listed online was $20,861, and I confirmed with Crystal that this was the no haggle price. She said it doesn’t include some of the rebates, and when I asked her about what rebates were included, she retracted her statement and said that the price advertised was the selling price, there were no rebates. Her email even stated, “You May even qualify for further discounts with military, grad or loyalty rebates.” We get to the dealership and test drive the car, and when we get back inside to discuss pricing, Terrance says “so what’s your budget? If I can get this for $499 a month and $2,000 down, can we make a deal?” (He was referring to 72 month financing). I did the math really quickly and that brings the total price of the car with interest to $37,900, on a $20k car. I asked him how he got that number, and he said the cost of the car was $30k (window sticker said $26,995), and the rest was tax title interest. I showed him all the emails and he kept brushing it off, but he said that he’ll honor the pricing and go talk to his manager. 20 minutes later he comes back with a new number, $2000 down, and $550 a month for 72 months, ($42,000) for a car advertised at $20k, market value at around $24k. I told him there’s no way I’m paying $42k for a $20k car, and he said that the car may be $20k, but the rest is interest. Tax title and doc would be max $3,000, that’s still $19,000 in interest. I asked him where he thinks he could get a car loan with a 99% APR. He starts to tell us that auto loans are typically that high (False: Auto Loans range anywhere from 0% to 5% apr for someone with great credit), but as a first time buyer, we can get a lower rate. He then tries to educate us on how to “beat the system”, by saying that if you pay over term, it’ll be 99% apr but if you pay just another $100 or so a month, you can pay off a year sooner and “save like $13,000 in interest. that’s how you beat the system.” At this point we’re ready to leave and he asks me what kind of car my friend who I came with drives, and we told him how my friends car was $26,145 including tax title fees, and My friend put $3000 down and I’m only paying $350 at 2.2% for 72 months. Terrance tells me that’s impossible, and that’s probably a lease (as if my friend wouldn’t know if he bought or leased a car), but the math adds up ($23145/72=$321 per month + interest). Instead of stopping this conversation, Terrance CONTINUES to burn the bridge and pulls out his calculator and asking my friend to see the bill of sale on his car. We walked out as quickly as we could. More

But after I met Terrence McClain, I said “this is it!”. He is the best agent I have ever dealt with, very helpful, professional, polite, and knowledgeable about what is doing. Awful The sales guys who work here are the absolute worst, but that makes sense considering how rude and abrupt their management acts. I sat with Kenny, who The sales guys who work here are the absolute worst, but that makes sense considering how rude and abrupt their management acts. I sat with Kenny, who originally told me to just walk around the lot which boarders RT 1. He waited for me to come back. That didn’t take long considering nothing out there was remotely close to what I asked him to show me. I can handle bad salesmen. My actual problem is that when he took my license to scan, he never gave it back to me. I am at fault for leaving without it, 100%. It’s now been three weeks. After multiple attempts, Kenny and his manager have both told me that it was mailed to me last Monday. There is no reason this should take over 10 days when we are two towns apart. I went down there and the manager was nasty and said it was mailed which it clearly was not. I will make sure nobody that I am affiliated with ever steps a foot in Edison Nissan. More

I will always go Edison Nissan on Route 1 for my car maintenance. The coffee and goodies also make the waiting room more pleasant but it is Mr. Santos who is the best of the best for customer service, a huge asset to Edison Nissan. More
Horrible staff and customer service Frank Esposito Dealership’s are NOT a place I’d ever recommend nor shop again. On the week of July 15, 2019 I gave $47,288 CASH for a 2019 Grand Jeep Frank Esposito Dealership’s are NOT a place I’d ever recommend nor shop again. On the week of July 15, 2019 I gave $47,288 CASH for a 2019 Grand Jeep Cherokee at Frank Esposito’s Edison Nissan dealer and Route 46 Chrysler. Notice I said cash 💰. Why am I still financing $27K for a Jeep that was sold to me for $48k when I gave the Frank Esposito’s dealerships $49k cash? Here’s my experience. I responded to a pre-approval letter sent to me from Edison Nissan. I went into the dealership and purchased a 2019 used all black Grand Jeep Cherokee Altitude with 1548 miles on it for $38,750. My sales experience was just OK.. I saw a little drama with the staff that made me almost walk away from the dealership completely but the sales manger pursued me to stay. He offered me a decent price for the “used” Jeep (which in my eyes wasn’t really used because it only had 1548 miles on it). Ok so fast forward we get to the the monthly payment part of the deal/conversation, I told the sales MANAGER that I really didn’t want to finance because I don’t want payments so I’ll just buy the car. He expressed to me that it is better for the dealership if I finance for a couple of months because that how they keep the partnerships with the banks. Ok whatever, I can do him a solid so I gave him a deposit of $19,788 and drive my Jeep home around 9PM Monday July 15th. HERE IS WHERE THE PROBLEM BEGINS....ISSUE #1 On Wednesday July 17th in the afternoon around 3:00PM I’m driving my new 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee (1548 mileage) I get to an intersection, I stop, preparing to turn right, then I proceed to make the right and the car stalled. YUP STALLED. A truck was coming behind me on the road I turned on and my car stalled...wouldn’t / couldn’t accelerate. The truck started honking at me and of course I’m getting nervous. Fortunately I was able to coast over to the side of the road to safety. I had to power down the car and restart it to get going. ISSUE #2 at 7:30PM Wednesday night July 17th (same day) in the processes of parking my car it completely LOCKS up on me. I’m try to position myself in a parking space and it locks. I can’t reverse nor move forward. I power down and turn back on same thing...not moving. So I leave the my car as is in the spot and go take care of my business and come back two hours later. When I get back I start the car and now ISSUE #3 my screen is completely black. I can’t see the the time, the Apps, the touch screen buttons...nothing. I power down and restart then I get a screen with an error msg. So the very next day Thursday July 18th I call Edison Nissan. The sales manger tells me to bring it in. I do and I also call the FCA recall center and create case. So when I get to Edison Nissan they recommend I take it to a Jeep dealer to have it checked out. I decide it is better that I take it to the dealer the Edison Nissan sales manger said he got the Jeep from, Route 46 Chrysler Jeep Dodge Dealer (which Frank Esposito’s other dealership). On Friday July 19th 2019 I walk into Route 46 Chrysler Jeep Dodge and I get an AWESOME salesman and sales manager. I explain my situation and I decide NOT to service a new car but to get another one. I did not want the potential HASSLE OF DIAGNOSING A NEW 2019 Jeep with 1548 miles on it. Remember I JUST GAVE THE DEALER $19,788 cash for the car. So the sales guy and I identify a new car, better model and I get ready to buy it. I’m told my car trade-in that I just bought 4 days prior depreciated 10k and I had to eat it. They come down on the price of the new car $2k and don’t charge me “tax” per se. So the new Jeep I want is $48,000 plus the $8,000 balance of the trade in. I made the only LOGICAL decision I think there is to make and I take the deal. I DO NOT WANT A DEFECTIVE CAR BACK. So I write a check for $29,500 and drive away with my car. $49,288 spent, bought a $48k and still financing $27K. I want my $19,788 refunded back. Would you? More
