Thanks for your feedback Denise. It seems as though its more important to bad mouth a dealership, than own up to your responsibility as a customer. As I have mentioned in your other review on Google, the administration fee is non-refundable. The fee is $399. You can't get the fee right as you keep claiming that it's $495? Why? We are very upfront with our return policy. That is what you guys had to pay to return your vehicle. In life, there are penalties. We put this in place because sometimes people buy a car and would like to return it. There is typically no option to do this because usually when you buy a car, you own it. We provide this as a convenience. Otherwise you would not have received any of the $8,000 back and you would own a car you do not want. This is a small price to pay. By the way, since you would like to post reviews for everyone to see, you have left out information for everyone to see. Just so people understand, we offered to help take care of a couple minor items your mechanic brought up, and you refused. We tried to help, but you were not flexible in working out a resolution. We were going to fix the items at no cost to you, but that was not good enough. We appreciate the opportunity and good luck in your search for a nice vehicle for Becca. Jeff Gordon is great to work with and its unfortunate considering the money and condition of that vehicle. Would have been a great SUV for her. thanks, Management

First of all, I would like to say thank you for the feedback and we appreciate your business. We always check our vehicles to make sure they are mechanically sound and ready to drive down the road. It appears as though you bought an older beetle with good mileage (96K). Even though it has alot of life left on the engine, you cannot predict the future on a preowned vehicle. Our warranty on older cars is the best out of any dealer in the city. We pay for half of parts and labor when fixing things after the sale. It sounds like you would like the dealer to fix your vehicle for free, and unfortunately, no dealer fixes used cars for free. Dealers will fix new cars for free to the customer, because the manufacturer pays for it. If you have someone close to you that can do the work for less, then by all means. We have also given the customer (3) free oil changes to make use of over the next year. I do understand your pain as there is always risk when buying an older-preowned vehicle, and because they are man-made machines, they break. What works today, may fail tomorrow. Thats why they put warranties on brand new cars as well because they break too. You can read our reviews, and you will see alot of good ones. You will also find a few not-so-good ones as well because you just cannot predict when a vehicle will fail. We do our best to make sure evey customer is taken care of, but it looks like expectations from the customer exceed our dealership warranty guidelines. I have spoken with this customer. He bought a 2009 Acura and this vehicle was not a certified vehicle as it was too old to become a certified vehicle. The items he is referring to are normal wear and tear. We test all batteries when we inspect to make sure there is plenty of life in them, but batteries can, all of a sudden, go out with no warning. We make sure there is at least 50% of tread wear on all pre-owned vehicles. If its less, then that vehicle will get a new set of tires. We don't just put new tires on every pre-owned vehicle. As for the last issue regarding the windshield, we are a Volkswagen dealer. The car this customer purchased is a pre-owned vehicle. It's a nice car.. however, when used vehicles go through our reconditioning process, there would be no way of knowing who ever had the car, replaced the windshield and glued the clips in. I'm sure our service department would have been more than willing to work with him. This is why we specifically have a 50/50 warranty after the sale. In other words, anyone who buys a pre-owned vehicle from us who wants something done after the sale is only required to pay for 50% of the bill on just about anything they may want done to their new pre-owned vehicle. Most dealers do not pay anything or at most only 10%.. We put this in place for 30days after the sale. We have also extended this in certain situations. His platinum warranty will cover a lot that could go wrong with his vehicle, however it will not cover wear and tear items like batteries, tires, or windshields. Engine components, Electrical, etc are some of the things that could be covered, which he needs to review in his paperwork. The problem is, this customer moved out of our area a few months after purchase and it makes it difficult to help him out with the work.
