All very nice and professional. Only issue is getting return emails and call backs from the service dept. Sometimes customers just want an update on the progress of their vehicle. I have a Genesis and when I inquired about the valet service was told I needed to speak to a manager to schedule. I left a message for said manager and never received a return call. I did end up schedul service was told I needed to speak to a manager to schedule. I left a message for said manager and never received a return call. I did end up scheduling service anyway and waited while it was done. There was very little communication with me about my service. I feel Mercedes had a much better service experience, so far not very happ with the Genesis experience. More

The oil change and tuneup went well, but I also asked the service advisor to have the trunk light bulb changed because several months ago, the person in the parts department sold me the wrong bulb for the tr service advisor to have the trunk light bulb changed because several months ago, the person in the parts department sold me the wrong bulb for the trunk light. Therefore I told the service advisor about this, and he said he would take care of it. I called him yesterday and asked him why wasn’t the trunk light working. He said that the technician put the bulb in but didn’t turn the switch on. In other words he left the switch off. Why would you do that? Because when I open the trunk I want the light to come on automatically. I don’t want to have to get out and go turn on the light in the trunk manually. I am supposed to stop by the service department today and see if the light actually works. I cannot turn on the switch so I’m going to get the service advisor to turn it on and see if it actually works. If it doesn’t work, I will be absolutely pissed about the whole thing. It seems very trivial, but when you spend over $500 on an oil change and tuneup, you want the complete job to be done and that includes the trunk light fixed. More
