I had my car towed there 2 months ago because my car was using to much oil. I have been doing the oil consumption test and then they finally realized what the problem was. I can’t get in touch with anyone a using to much oil. I have been doing the oil consumption test and then they finally realized what the problem was. I can’t get in touch with anyone and they will not return my phone calls when I leave a message. The service manager is a smart xxx and arrogant to customers like me. They know that I need a new engine and I am well still under warranty and they won’t do anything to rectify this situation. I am about to put them on the news and the BBB to get this done. More
yMy thanks to Daniel Martin of the Service Department. My car was towed to this dealership after being run off the road damaging the two right tires/wheels. Daniel kept me apprised of the damage and what was car was towed to this dealership after being run off the road damaging the two right tires/wheels. Daniel kept me apprised of the damage and what was being done to repair. He timely provided information needed by the claims adjuster. He answered my numerous questions with absolute respect and attention to detail. This was my first time with Ed Voyles Kia Chamblee but I will certainly look forward to working with dealership in the future. More
These guys are a bunch of charlatans. Like some of the other reviewers, we drove a long way to arrive to a price much higher than listed for one of their vehicles someone else has traded in. Every time we other reviewers, we drove a long way to arrive to a price much higher than listed for one of their vehicles someone else has traded in. Every time we negotiated down, they found some new charge or fee that needed to be added back. Even after we agreed to a price, they kept me, my husband, and my two small children waiting for HOURS. Then, when it was finally time to sign paperwork, there were yet more fees or unaccounted for expenses. We were ready to walk out and asked them to just put the tag back on the vehicle we drove over for a trade-in, and they came back to the agreed upon price. We were there for over three hours with restless kids who were starting to get hungry and fussy, but the employees were just sitting in that little room in the front shooting the breeze. I hate dealing with a bunch of crooks. Of course, when I got the car home, there were a number of things wrong with it that I could not have known at the time of the purchase. I expect to have to replace tires on a used vehicle, but they sent us home with my kids in the car on overinflated tires that were dry-rotting on the side you can't see! It's one thing to nickel and dime the public to make your living, but it's quite another to knowingly put someone's kids in danger! Moreover, the alternator gave out not two weeks after purchase, and the sunroof was rigged to disguise the fact that it is broken. Now, after a few uses, the vehicle is in my garage waiting for the sunroof to be fixed before I can drive in all this rain. The experience with this dealership was terrible overall, but I was okay with that thinking I was bringing home a safe, reliable family vehicle. Now we're inching up to a couple thousand dollars in repairs, and I just hope I can keep future customers from having this same experience. The area is full of other, better places to buy vehicles. I have purchased my previous two from this area, and I had much better experiences (shout out to Jim Ellis). Please learn from our mistake and shop elsewhere. More
I bought a Telluride from Teno at Ed Voyles Kia of Chamblee. It was the smoothest car purchase I have ever experienced. Everyone in my family and all my friends will be told what a great experience t Chamblee. It was the smoothest car purchase I have ever experienced. Everyone in my family and all my friends will be told what a great experience this was. Questions were answered, promises were kept and the whole process the day I bought my car was one and a half hours. My car is a dream and I can't say enough good about it. There is no other car on the rode I would rather drive. Teno is superior in his ability to explain the features, deliver on his promises and be available every step of the way. More
Found car, agreed on price and had price sheet sent to me as confirmation. Drove 50 minutes to pick up the car and suddenly it is $1,700 more. And you wonder why people like Ed Voyles are hated so much. Unet as confirmation. Drove 50 minutes to pick up the car and suddenly it is $1,700 more. And you wonder why people like Ed Voyles are hated so much. Unethical sales practices are alive and well in the car industry and it looks like Ed Voyles is trying to lead the way! More
pretty bad experience. should have checked this site before I bought. the Kia has a hot car; the Telluride. This dealer gouges on the on-the-lot tellurides, I ordered one instead. They didn't honor the before I bought. the Kia has a hot car; the Telluride. This dealer gouges on the on-the-lot tellurides, I ordered one instead. They didn't honor the agreement we made on the price of the car. And the attitude is 'if you don't buy it someone else will, and we'll sell it way over sticker'' Their attitude towards the customer is general disdain, the doc fee is the highest i've ever seen. Lack of communication... night and day difference from my last experience at Jim Ellis, which was excellent. More
James Johnson provided the most excellent customer service today when I needed a warranty repair on my 2017 kia soul, and he wore a face mask indoors. Sadly, I can't say the same for his coworkers. On service today when I needed a warranty repair on my 2017 kia soul, and he wore a face mask indoors. Sadly, I can't say the same for his coworkers. One did not wear a mask at all, another wore it under his nose, one had a face shield which does not block aerosolized droplets at all (covid can spread through breath droplets, y'all!)... The guy with a face shield completely ignored my concerns when I asked him to wear a mask. He just walked away and said he would get my service advisor. Thank goodness my service advisor happened to be James... I only go to the dealership for a repair if it's under warranty. James helped make it a great experience, but I'll never go back to this dealer to pay for any repair service. *I live in Decatur where masks are mandated, but there is no mask mandate in Chamblee at this time. Alan is The BEST Alan was amazing and very patient. Sometimes, I work at another location out of town and he patiently waited for me to return to capture my business. Alan was amazing and very patient. Sometimes, I work at another location out of town and he patiently waited for me to return to capture my business. He stayed in contact with me and when I came into the dealership...he made me feel like I was a VIP customer. He sold me a car that fit my needs, my budget, and also something that is pretty dang cool!!! I absolutely love Alan and his approach to listening to a customer's needs. I love his approach sooo much to the point I wil be back in a few month's before the year is over to purchase another car from him! More
Disappointed Customer I went in to the dealership to get a routine oil change and tire rotation per my "maintenance agreement" that was purchased at Ed Voyles Chamblee when I went in to the dealership to get a routine oil change and tire rotation per my "maintenance agreement" that was purchased at Ed Voyles Chamblee when I bought my Kia Sorenta. I waited two hours, even with an appointment, and they didn't even rotate the tires. This is the second time in a row they haven't rotated my tires when I took it in for routine maintenance. The time before this one, I had a nail in my back tire and they sent me home with the nail still in the tire and the rotation not done. This time we marked the tires just to see what would happen and imagine, they did not get rotated AGAIN. Now I am stuck with a "maintenance agreement" that I had to pay for through Ed Voyles and they can't even rotate tire. What maintenance are they really doing while my car is in for service? More
