May 4, 2012 I had an appointment at Ed Voyles Honda, Marietta, Ga. with Ed Price, service manager, as I had previously been in there 4 times to try to get some assistance in getting the Homelink program Marietta, Ga. with Ed Price, service manager, as I had previously been in there 4 times to try to get some assistance in getting the Homelink programmed . I arrived 15 minutes early, and was told by Dan, service , that Ed was out on an emergency, but he would ask the service manager( Jody) if he could help. Ed came back 20 min. later, I showed him the print out directions for Geni/ Homelink/ 2011 Honda Pilot, and he asked me to drive "out of the service bay" , park the car, and wait. I asked him to please write this up for warranty purposes. After 30 min. of waiting in my car, I went back to speak to Dan, but he was not available, so after 45-60 min. I left. I do not believe Ed Voyles will give service on warranty items UNLESS they get paid up front. Now, I seriously question if I would purchase a Honda due to a lack of service at the dealership. Rather than waste time at Ed Voyles, I am going to post this to Consumer guide, and various complaint boards, and use the remote control. More
Over the past fifteen years I have purchased and leased many vehicles from this place. The owner is amazing and I am happy to do business with them. Thanks for all the help. I know I am picky and a pain wh many vehicles from this place. The owner is amazing and I am happy to do business with them. Thanks for all the help. I have a 2006 Civic, which is out of warranty but has very low miles (about 34k). I'm very happy with the car, but the sun visor broke the other day & wouldn't stay up. I looked on-line & found many comp very low miles (about 34k). I'm very happy with the car, but the sun visor broke the other day & wouldn't stay up. I looked on-line & found many complaints about this problem. I went to Ed Voyles Honda, as I had used them in the past. I was expecting a fight to see if they would fix this under warranty. I figured they would tell me they never saw this before & I caused the failure. Instead, after talking with the Assistant Service Manager, Mr. Sweet, who inspected the problem on the service drive, they agreed to fix it for me. He even told me he sees this problem reglarly & the sun visors are "kind of cheesy". I was so impressed with his honesty about the problem. He even fixed it himself while I waited. I was there maybe 20 minutes. You never expect this kind of treatment from a dealer, but, thanks to Mr. Sweet, I will be using Ed Voyles for all my service work. More
I took my 2003 Accord in sor routine service the other day. I was a big service, as I had not been in for awhile &b I knew I needed quite a bit of work. The bill was about $600.00, which I expected. When day. I was a big service, as I had not been in for awhile &b I knew I needed quite a bit of work. The bill was about $600.00, which I expected. When I got home, There was a coupon in the mail for 10% off my next visit. I called the dealership & was transferred to the Assistanut vc. Mgr., Mr. Cary Sweet. I had to leave a message. I never expected to get called back, but, about 30 minutes later, Mr. Sweet returned my call.I explained the situation to him. He stated that if I brought the coupon in he would review it & see what he could do. I still didn't expect anything, but took the coupon in that day. To my surprise, he said he would gladly re-imburse me for the coupon difference. It was totally painless. I figured he would just say there was nothing he could do, but, instead, he easily fixed it. I now know they are a respectable dealership, thanks to Mr. Sweet, & I feel very confident using them for all my car's needs. More
David & Greg explained things well. David warned about potential problems & additional costs when I explained what my non-mechanic friend thought I needed repaired. They've reliably fixed my cars for ove potential problems & additional costs when I explained what my non-mechanic friend thought I needed repaired. They've reliably fixed my cars for over fifteen years. I realized the prices were similar of better than non-dealers so kept coming back for their experience. I keep referring friends that grumble about paying more for brakes than I do. Having the shuttle service makes it easy to go from work, too. More
Tried calling several times to speak with customer service. Every time receptionist answered phone and transferred me, the phone just rang. No one ever picked up the phone. I let it ring at least 2 service. Every time receptionist answered phone and transferred me, the phone just rang. No one ever picked up the phone. I let it ring at least 20 times each call. Well, I will be taking my business elsewhere! More
I have been using this dealership for service of my Hondas (Civic, Accord, and now Element) for more than 12 years and have always been pleased with their service department. I recently took my vehicle Hondas (Civic, Accord, and now Element) for more than 12 years and have always been pleased with their service department. I recently took my vehicle to another Honda service department across town near where I work and was very disappointed with the service I received. Specifically, I have my oil changes, all of the Honda recommended maintenance, and any other routine maintenance that is needed done here. I know I can always trust the work to be top quality and they won't try to upsell me on something that isn't needed. They are honest and straightforward. They have also always been able to work me in when I needed something like having a tire plugged on the way to work. It may have cost me a little more at the dealership, but the peace of mind of knowing it was being done right was worth it. I also recently had to have some work done at their body shop. As luck would have it, their body shop was just as top-notch as the service department. I can't say enough positive things about the two areas of this dealership with which I have worked. They are really top-notch! More
Took to Honda after visiting independent tire shop who pointed out that the alignment bolts had not been properly tightened in the previous service. Honda refused to take responsibility and charged for r pointed out that the alignment bolts had not been properly tightened in the previous service. Honda refused to take responsibility and charged for replacement in addition to replacing tie rods and bearings in front wheels along with a tire and wheel. (As he kept adding to the price it finally topped out at $1200 for a job that had been estimated at $860.) Next day the mud flap that had been broken in the repair process came loose and hoping that Ed Voyles might take some responsibility for the damage (caused by his repair shop) visited the shop again. "Not their shoddy repair." Of course, they are the only ones who have worked on the car. One week later the tire installed by Ed Voyles developed a bubble. Back to the shop (after getting an estimate by another company). The explanation (from Ed Voyles) was that it was the way the car had been driven in the last week that caused the tire to form the bubble. Well, my daughter, who had obviously been taken advantage of said that was absurd. She called North American Honda and Bridgestone tire and finally got Ed Voyles to replace the tire for the cost of mounting and balancing the tire (apparently the standard for repair work). Honda has a great preventive maintenance program. I have purchased four Honda cars and have always had the car serviced in the dealer shop, but Ed Voyles Honda dealer is a disaster. More
Needed 30k service and warranty repair, they are close to my office so I wanted to save some time. Made appt and dropped off. Car was done fast but I noticed my bill was high. They overcharged for the 30k my office so I wanted to save some time. Made appt and dropped off. Car was done fast but I noticed my bill was high. They overcharged for the 30k service (Price is advertised on their web page for goodness sakes) and charged me hourly for the warranty repair. When I brought it to the cashiers attention she had me speak with Mr. Sweet. He told me it was my fault I had not told my service advisor this car was still in warranty (2 more yrs) and that they deserved to be paid for their work. I had heard about this repair through an online group and he also told me they were wrong it is not a warranty repair- Even though the TSB he brought up on screen said it is and can even be done as a goodwill for out of warranty cars. Very condescending attitude to a paying customer. I did tell them it was a warranty repair when I made my appointment, they did not record that, only what service was to be done. Get a written estimate from these guys or you will get ripped off too. Customer is always right- not at Ed Voyles Honda More
Stay Away from this place!!! I have a 2000 Honda Acrod that had no issues. I took care of the car as my own child. All service was done by Honda. This past year I had to move because of work and this d that had no issues. I took care of the car as my own child. All service was done by Honda. This past year I had to move because of work and this dealership is the close one to the house. After taking the car here for service the first time I found a flat tire at pick up. They said I had to pay to replace the tire. Next I took it for a 45,000 mile service. After this now when I fill up gas, the marker never gets to full. Spoke with the service manager who said he would charge me $40 to look at whats wrong. He transfered the call to a service rep and rep said just to look is $80. Service manager said he never quoted me $40. I took my car and RAN. PLEASE TRUST what I am saying and stay away from this place. More
