I felt very comfortable with the salesman (Marty). He discussed and showed me and demonstrated all of the features I was interested in seeing ... and I wanted to see everything. I bought my CR-V from hi discussed and showed me and demonstrated all of the features I was interested in seeing ... and I wanted to see everything. I bought my CR-V from him, and shortly afterwards I bought a Civic for my daughter from him. Later on, when it was time, I had my daughter buy her next car (hybrid) from him. I'm still in my CR-V and I still love it. They are very helpful, courteous, and responsive about maintenance service, and I drive there from out of town. More
After deciding a Honda Accord was the car I wanted to buy; an all cash - no financing needed deal; I visited 4 dealerships. Ed Voyles was furthest from my home -about 28 miles -but i wanted to investiga buy; an all cash - no financing needed deal; I visited 4 dealerships. Ed Voyles was furthest from my home -about 28 miles -but i wanted to investigate all opportunities. A non-aggressive congenial atmosphere pervaded the sales showroom and a comforting older gentleman, Mr. Hammerman approached with a smile and an outstretched hand . He asked intelligent questions and listened attentively. The car that I desired was on the lot and the price was agreed upon in less time than I ever imagined. Nothing was "pushed" on me and I had all needs met. More
My Dad told me buying a car could be easy if we went to the right place; he was right! We went to Ed Voyles and our entire visit from start to driving away in my new Civic took less than two hours. They p the right place; he was right! We went to Ed Voyles and our entire visit from start to driving away in my new Civic took less than two hours. They played no pricing games; helped me find what I wanted at a price I could afford. The entire experience was awesome, unlike the experiences my friends have had and nothing like the stories I've heard from people about buying a car. I had shopped several other Honda stores in Roswell, Woodstock, and Cartersville. Every where else used "car selling tactics" straight out of the movies on me. Richard Wade, my salesman, was the consummate professional. The managers were not at all what I had experienced elsewhere, they were helpful and couldn't have been nicer. I really didn't even need my Dad! I would recommend Ed Voyles Honda to anyone looking for a fast and pleasant buying experience. They are cool... More
My first new car buying experience was intense. My dad helped through the process and it was great to have a cool sales guy. He took the presure off and made it a fun experience. I love my civic and hav helped through the process and it was great to have a cool sales guy. He took the presure off and made it a fun experience. I love my civic and have to say i never thought it would be as easy as it was. If you need a new honda I would say go to Ed Voyles and ask for Richard. More
Not a good experience at this dealership. But I do think that not all experiences are the same so I will only take this personally. I dont expect that everyone has the same bad experience that I had. In fac that not all experiences are the same so I will only take this personally. I dont expect that everyone has the same bad experience that I had. In fact my mom has recently purchased a car here and had a great experience. I am a first time car buyer, and maybe thats the reason we were treated as we were. We arrived hoping to speak with another salesman who we had spoken with in the past but he had already left for the day so we were giving Ricke. We began by telling him the exact car that I wanted down to every feature. He ran the credit reports and gave me one number that he could offer and said he couldnt go any lower. It was a 2009 Honda Civic EX with Navigation. He said my payments would be over $400. I said there was no way I wanted to do that for this car. So we left. There was no negotiating or him even trying to work with us. I probably would have ended up being ok with a $400 car payment but he didnt seem like he needed the commission so he tore up the application and we left. We ended up finding the EXACT same car at the Gwinnett Place Honda. We were on our way there while still while doing all of our negotiating over the phone, so we arrived to test drive the car and then signed the papers and we were out the door with a car payment less than $400. Couldnt have been happier about the decision to go to Gwinnett. It was a wonderfuly stress free atmosphere. They made me feel so comfortable and not at all nervous. They were also very knowledgeable about the car and helped me with any questions I had about the extra features. I ended up adding more features to the car and the payments STILL didnt reach $400! Beware the "Bait & Switch"! My salesman (Bob Newsome) was great: friendly, helpful, low-pressure. I signed a lease on a new car and left the dealership happy. BUT, one month later, I was called back in was great: friendly, helpful, low-pressure. I signed a lease on a new car and left the dealership happy. BUT, one month later, I was called back in to sign a new lease. The first one had been rejected by Honda. The dealership took the opportunity to change the terms, including the sales price of the car, which is the basis for the monthly lease payment. The finance staff turned up the heat and said I could sign the new lease or leave them my car. Be careful with these guys. You may think you have a good deal when you sign your paperwork, but they'll call you back in later to do it over again; only it won't be anything like the deal you agreed to. You'll have to sign their new deal or leave them your car. Buy your Honda somewhere else! More
The salesman was great the sales manager was also great. The problem was in Finance. I sent a friend to purchase a car there. He did get a great deal. However when he got to Finance they reprinted the The problem was in Finance. I sent a friend to purchase a car there. He did get a great deal. However when he got to Finance they reprinted the paper work and charged him an additional 2,500 dollars and I went up there the next day with him to get it fixed because he didnt know what he was signing and TONY CARABALLO gave me this two minute spill about the bank wouldnt finance him so they had to add money to his loan as a down payment to the bank. What a bunch of crap. My friends credit score was a 730 and he put 1500 down. So basically the 1500 went to nothing and they got him for an additional 2500 dollars. Crooks!!!!! Bob Newsome is a great salesman there. Very honest and friendly but PLEASE beware of the finance department they are very tricky, shady and overall liars!!!!! My friend did not get to return the car since he signed the papers and drove it off the lot. A guy name JASON IS THE FINANCE MANAGER he is the worst one. Tall guy with black hair very cocky. A black guy named Malcom in finance is great. He is the one you want to see! More
I have been using this dealership for service of my Hondas (Civic, Accord, and now Element) for more than 12 years and have always been pleased with their service department. I recently took my vehicle Hondas (Civic, Accord, and now Element) for more than 12 years and have always been pleased with their service department. I recently took my vehicle to another Honda service department across town near where I work and was very disappointed with the service I received. Specifically, I have my oil changes, all of the Honda recommended maintenance, and any other routine maintenance that is needed done here. I know I can always trust the work to be top quality and they won't try to upsell me on something that isn't needed. They are honest and straightforward. They have also always been able to work me in when I needed something like having a tire plugged on the way to work. It may have cost me a little more at the dealership, but the peace of mind of knowing it was being done right was worth it. I also recently had to have some work done at their body shop. As luck would have it, their body shop was just as top-notch as the service department. I can't say enough positive things about the two areas of this dealership with which I have worked. They are really top-notch! More
I have nothing but good words to say about the Internet Sales Manager Mike Dennihy at Ed voyles Honda. We decided on the price before we came to the dealership. All the other salespersons from other dealer Sales Manager Mike Dennihy at Ed voyles Honda. We decided on the price before we came to the dealership. All the other salespersons from other dealerships all said the price would be higher when we actually got to the dealership. With that in mind, we just want to check out what's going to happen and then decide to take the van or not. But it turns out to be perfectly smooth and we bought the van on the spot with the exact price we agreed upon. No hidden fees, no extra charges. Mike has been very patient and honest from the very beginning. He always responds to my questions very quick with the attitude that make me feel that I'm respected. He also worked very hard to get us on the same page on the price. I highly recommend him if anyone wants to have a happy car buying experience! More
If you are looking to buy a used car, I recommend to stay far away from these people. I had a real shoking experience. David - the sales rep had us see cars from outside the first time we were there, and as far away from these people. I had a real shoking experience. David - the sales rep had us see cars from outside the first time we were there, and asked us to come back the next day to do a test drive as they were almost closing. When we went there the next day, he had us drive one honda accord. We asked him if we could see other cars close to our budget and he refused to do so saying this was the only car that suited us the best. I had seen honda cars in my budget range on his website before going to him. He just seemed as if we were bothering him. We decided we would buy that Honda that we drived. We liked it. Then there was the finance guy that came in as if he had 110 customers waiting for him and kept rushing through the process. I was a first time buyer and had few questions for him. He had grumpy faces and silly jokes as answers. He would not let me read a document before I signed it, he just did not care. I did not give them money yet and I said I would come back to them on Monday. As I left the place, I realised I was in deep shock and had never experienced this before. The next day Sam called and asked if we were meeting to do the deal. I had him connect me to his manager and I spoke to him about the horrifying experience at length. He could do nothing but be sorry. He advised that he would deal with me further if I was interested. But, I just did not want them to get even a penny as bebefit from me. It is a pity that customers are treated like this. Totally disastrous experience!! NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED. More
