We bought a 2006 Honda Odyssey EX-L. After we left with our van we were very satisfied with the way everything turned out. Doing the paper work was very easy. The car we bought used (2004 Honda Element) seems to be good so far, but we were given a single after-market (not genuine Honda) key that 'failed' after 3 weeks. This means the car would not start. We were good so far, but we were given a single after-market (not genuine Honda) key that 'failed' after 3 weeks. This means the car would not start. We were not told about this key up front. Neither were we told that it is 'prone to failure' (according to technician at the dealership). It was up to us to have the car towed to the dealership so they could make a new key. In addition, no one would 'take charge' of the situation; we were passed from person to person - there seems to be an extreme lack of communication between departments. When asked by the salesperson how the buying experience was and if they could do anything better, we gave them honest responses and suggested that they provide customers with 2 (genuine Honda) master keys along with a valet key. None of our concerns were addressed, the response was, "I apologize for the inconvenience" (literally this is all that was said). In other words, the customer service ends as soon as you sign on the dotted line. The buying and test driving stage was easy and the experience was good, however the follow up has soured us in regards to this dealership. Therefore I would not recommend this dealership to anyone else. Life is too short and there are many others out there. Update: I wrote to the salesperson, and was rebuffed. I wrote to the Customer Service Manager and was initially told that he would look into the problem. Then I was ignored. Finally, I wrote to the General Manager and within a half hour he offered to provide a full set of keys as well as the first service free. The keys are all we wanted in the first place; I really wish the first two contacts could have offered a little more help, but we are satisfied now. I've changed the ratings slightly to reflect this. I visited Ed Voyles Honda to look into a used Honda Civic SI. Patrick was very welcoming and pleasant. This being the first time I was actually buying a car for myself, I felt a bit intimidated and unsure SI. Patrick was very welcoming and pleasant. This being the first time I was actually buying a car for myself, I felt a bit intimidated and unsure about the whole process. My concern is always, like you hear of so many dealerships, having a bunch of negotiations and surprises. I value honesty and directness. Patrick was both very honest and very direct. He kept me informed through the whole process. Further, he was very interested in my choice of car, as he likewise still drives a manual. It was nice to buy from someone who not only was honest and informative, but also really appreciated my choice. I highly recommend Patrick to anyone looking to buy a used Honda at Ed Voyles. There was one difficulty in my experience, but this was not Patrick's fault. Because I am a student and had an out of state license they were overly wary of me, to the point of being a bit rude. I had to prove I had a job, was a student, and they had to speak with my parents. Now I understand that they need to be sure about this sort of thing, but it seemed a bit much. This is the reason for the 4 on overall experience. That said, though (and I assume most people won't be buying with an out of state license, etc.) it was a good experience and I got the car I wanted. I felt and it was a very smooth process. I would still highly recommend Ed Voyles Honda and specifically Patrick Vaughn for anyone looking for a used Honda. More
I drove from Knoxville, TN to Atlanta to get a good Honda Accord Coupe at a fair price. Prior to my trip, I did a lot of price research for what I wanted. Other Honda dealers that I visited initially tried t Accord Coupe at a fair price. Prior to my trip, I did a lot of price research for what I wanted. Other Honda dealers that I visited initially tried to sell me cars at unreasonable prices. They tried to justify a price instead of trying to sell the car. Though I was able to negotiate to fair prices, I didn't feel comfortable with the way that I was treated. My visit to Ed Voyles Honda was refreshingly different. I was treated professionally by a courteous salesman. David Clark worked with me to find a car that I wanted at a reasonable price. He wasn't out to get the largest commission that he could; he wanted to sell me a car. I highly recommend this dealership. To get a quality car at a reasonable price AND be treated like more than just a commission, see David Clark and Ed Voyles Honda. More

I think the gent's name was Don; I can't be sure. When I told him I was a couple of weeks away, he looked at me like I had open sores on my mouth. Horrible, horrible, horrible. What is up with this mental told him I was a couple of weeks away, he looked at me like I had open sores on my mouth. Horrible, horrible, horrible. What is up with this mentality? This is not 1979; we have the internet, we have information. I ended up going over to Duluth to Gwinnett Place Honda and working with Lenny Hamilton and Dennis Walton. Lenny came out and explained to me that he was working with a very young couple at the time and was making sure that all of their questions were answered and that he did not want to rush them through the process. That sounded refreshing and he introduced Dennis to me. What a difference this was. Night and day from my experience at Ed Boyles. I'll keep it short. I bought the car from Dennis. Great Experience.
