He personifies everything that a true professional should be. Mind you, he's not even a sales professional at Ed Voyles Honda; he's in the finance department. Unfortunately, the salesman who helped me with my used car purchase has no concept of what after service is, as it was clearly demonstrated by his lack of professionalism and courtesy. Long story short, I bought a used 2012 Honda Civic eight days ago and experienced several issues with the vehicle and brought it to the dealership this afternoon. Since the salesman was nowhere to be found, David went out of his way to help me with the issues and went to the service department to assist me. Basically, he went above and beyond the call of duty to make my first trip to the service department bearable. David Clark is probably the only professional at Ed Voyles Honda with a strong work ethic, coupled with a genuine desire to provide excellent service to customers. Sadly, I can't say the same thing about the used car sales division and service department--the level of incompetence and unprofessionalism is staggering. More

When I purchased my first car from Ed Voyles Honda two years ago, I had such a great experience when I bought my car that I thought that was the pinnacle of a car buying experience. Well, it turned out I was wrong. It could and would be even better. I had an accident in my Honda and because it was totaled, I found myself back in the market for another car. I was dreading the whole process, but I knew I needed to get a vehicle. When I arrived at Honda David P. greeted me just like it was the same day when I had bought my first car from Honda. He is always super friendly and eager to help. After speaking with Chason and telling him my needs, he assured me he would help me get the best vehicle. Once I found the perfect vehicle, it was time to see the finance guy. David Clark is a true professional. He told me how long it would be before we would begin the paperwork. David whisked me into his office shortly thereafter. He treated me with such dignity and respect and explained every document I had to sign. I have never bought a car in such record time (3 hours); but I did on Saturday. It's more than just buying a car with Chason and his team. I knew I would leave with a great & dependable vehicle. Best Car Purchasing Experience Ever! I did not look forward to going to a dealership to purchase a car. I have not had good experiences in the past. Patrick was patient while I vented about my last bad experience with a dealership and why I was not happy that I was needing a second car in the first place. He answered all my questions, took note of the "limitations" I put on him for any purchase I would consider, and graciously took me through the process. He was honest, forthright; I didn't feel that I was being "conned". I ended up with a great used Toyota for my partner and the salesman that I will now use going forward for furture car purchases. You decide you want to "think about it" and the car is sold right out from underneathe you. Most dealers would say tough luck but not Patrick Vaughn, and his team (his boss Chasom and Maurice). They found me an even better deal on a newer car and worked with me and my family to negotiate a price that was more than reasonable and in my range. When I say "negotiate" I don't mean the haggling and gimmicky sales BS that you normally deal with, these guys have 15 years of experience and there's nothing, but professionalism and allowing the customer to make a decision without the typical pushy crap you get from most dealers. This was one of about 6 dealerships I went to for this particular car and this is one of many cars that I've purchased over the years. My experience with Patrick was hands down the best car selling experience I've ever had! From the time I entered the dealership and was greeted by the friendly and personable receptionist and all during the buying experience I was made to feel as though I was part of the "family". Any time a salesperson walked by they made a point of saying hello and congratulating me on my new CRV. Even the general manager of the dealership, Pete Richards, and the general sales manager, John Schibi, took their time to introduce themselves to me and make me know that they value me as a customer. If you are looking for a new car, I would recommend Ed Voyles Honda and Don Marlowe. I was given top dollar for my trade-in and a fair price for the CRV I purchased.
