The whole experience was great. My wife and I never felt like we were fighting with the dealership for a deal, but rather that Dick was on our side the whole time. I would recommend anyone heading to Ed Vo like we were fighting with the dealership for a deal, but rather that Dick was on our side the whole time. I would recommend anyone heading to Ed Voyles to look at a new car contact and make an appointment with Dick first. I did feel a little pressured working with Steve to hammer out the finance side of the deal. Without going into too much detail, Steve initially led me to believe the percentage I had qualified for was the best he could possibly do. Five minutes later he informed me he could drop the rate by an entire point if I accepted an extended warranty. That seemed a little shady. Overall, my wife and I had a great car buying experience at Ed Voyles. More

Mr Pratt was going over the agreed upon numbers for our purchase and trade-in, and he mentioned that $1,000 of the price discount was based on us financing the vehicle with the dealer’s financial instituti purchase and trade-in, and he mentioned that $1,000 of the price discount was based on us financing the vehicle with the dealer’s financial institution. When we reminded him that we were financing the vehicle with our own financial institution, he stated that we were now $1,000 off for our price. When we reminded him that our initial contact with the dealer included the statement that we were pre-approved for financing with my own bank, and that every conversation we had (voice or electronic) included reference to our own bank financing the purchase, and that if he tried to renege on our agreed deal, we would end the transaction immediately, he threw his hands in the air in disgust and told the salesman to “just give them what they want!” Later, Mr Pratt demanded that I give him my SSN as part of a check to ensure that I was not a terrorist or criminal who he could not legally sell a car to. He called this a requirement of OFAC, but could not tell us what OFAC stands for. Upon further research, I have found that OFAC is the Office of Foreign Assets Control, and that car dealerships are required to ensure their customers are not on the “Specially Designated Nationals” list…but the list does not contain SSNs and cannot be searched by SSN, only by name! The form that he wanted me to fill out with my SSN was a credit application; obviously Mr. Pratt’s ulterior motive was to run my credit in an attempt to persuade me to finance the vehicle with the dealership’s financial institution instead of my own. I also feel that Randy Pratt did not respect my husband’s military service. The website for the military incentive bonus states that a Form 1099-R (Retirement Form) is required to qualify for the incentive. The Form 1099-R does not state how many years of service are credited to the retirement; it just shows that there is a military retirement. Mr Pratt repeatedly questioned whether my husband had 20 years of service, and stated that the program only applies to retired servicemembers with 20 or more years of service. To resolve the situation, Mr Pratt requested to make a copy of my husband’s military retired identification card. We allowed the copy to be made, but the fact that the ID card also does not show the number of years of service did not seem to be an issue to Mr Pratt. We also made Mr Pratt aware that photocopying military ID cards for unauthorized purposes is illegal; specifically that incidents of commercial establishments photocopying U.S. government identification to verify military affiliation or provide government rates for services are a violation of Title 18, U.S. Code, Part I, Chapter 33, Section 701 and are punishable by fine and/or imprisonment. Mr Pratt stated he had never heard that before, and did not want to violate any law, but needed the ID card in case he was audited and the Form 1099-R would not suffice. In the end he made a copy of the ID card and Form 1099-R, both of which prove my husband’s military retirement, but neither of which reflect the 22 years, 1 month, and 22 days served. On the other hand, Kendal Willis, our salesman, showed us outstanding service, great respect, and was reasonable throughout the entire process, from the day we met two weeks before the deal was closed, through email negotiations back and forth, right up until we drove off the lot in the new vehicle (and after, as he mailed us some items we left in the trade in). He is an outstanding salesman. More
My search fora newWrangler took several months and I visited several different dealerships in the process, but I kept comingback to Ed Voyles. When the time was finally right, Tylor was very responsive visited several different dealerships in the process, but I kept comingback to Ed Voyles. When the time was finally right, Tylor was very responsive to my many e-mails and visits to the dealership. The day we purchased, Tylor made the whole process as smooth and quick as checking out at Target! Well not exactly, but it was one of the quickest new car purchases we have made in years! Tylor, thank you again for your help with the purchase of our new Jeep. More
I purchased a 2008 Jeep Patriot and was unhappy with it! Talk about buyer's remorse. And the worst part is that the car had a bad odor. I approached my salesperson, Devin Brown and the general manager, Drew Talk about buyer's remorse. And the worst part is that the car had a bad odor. I approached my salesperson, Devin Brown and the general manager, Drew Tutton. They blew me away with great service. I took the used 2008 Patriot back. They gave me full credit toward purchase of a NEW 2012 Patriot and made the price on the new one extremely affordable. I found them to be authentically interested in making certain that I was happy. They don't just claim to be big on service. THEY ARE. I have never encountered such a positive team doing great things towards making customers happy. If you are in the market for a new or used car, I highly recommend this team. It not but for the kindness of strangers..... These guys have my friendship for life! More
We were traveling from Florida to Illinois on vacation on a very hot day in June. The A/C quit working in our Jeep Grand Cherokee, which we had just purchased new in November. I looked up a Jeep dealership a very hot day in June. The A/C quit working in our Jeep Grand Cherokee, which we had just purchased new in November. I looked up a Jeep dealership on my phone that would be close to the route we were traveling. I found the Ed Voyles dealership and called them to explain our situation. We wanted to get the air fixed, but did not want to be held up too long on our trip. They told us to bring it in, and directed us how to get there. They found the problem and fixed it, and we were in and out of there in a very timely manner! They were very helpful at getting us back on the road quickly, and we were able to be cool the rest of the trip. We are very appreciative of their service! More
Danny was upfront and helped us get into a Jeep Wrangler that had the options and was the perfect color.
