one lie after another the wife and i went there looking for a truck.we decided on a used quad cab ..while they were busy getting all the paperwork together.the service man the wife and i went there looking for a truck.we decided on a used quad cab ..while they were busy getting all the paperwork together.the service manager came outside and told us that he had not yet had a chance to to get the truck in.but, they had already detailed the truck and put it on the line to be sold.so he said he be able to give us any kind of warrantee. i told him we would walk.he then said well, may be 1000 miles.i was ok with this.cause with most used cars you only get a 30 day 1000 mile warantee anyway.so we get the truck home.the following morning my son noticed the spare tire missing.we knew it had one because we were talking about it being new.also later that day i noticed small drops of oil on my driveway.having 4 cars and lots of people visiting i thought nothing of it.i called the dealership to tell them about the spare tire,they acted as if it didnt happen.i knew better.so they said we will get you a new rim and tire.3 weeks later i got a new rim and a used tire.that was previously on a vehicle that needed a front end alignment.the outside of it was cupped..when the person who took the tire was stealing it.they broke the piece that holds the tire under the truck.i took my truck to my mechanic for a service.he showed me small pin holes in the oil pan ..1000 dollar repair. i called them and once again got the song and dance used by most used car sales people.my advice.check the vehicle over completely.take to an outside mechanic do not take these peoples word for anything..it was a very expensive lesson for me.happy to say i just bought a new truck.from community chevrolet in meadville.great people . i will never return here.nor ever recommend.. Experience a roller coaster We did have a crazy experience and we were ready to walk away from there but when we alerted the GM to this he brought us in to speak to Nick and he t We did have a crazy experience and we were ready to walk away from there but when we alerted the GM to this he brought us in to speak to Nick and he turned the whole thing around! He was very kind and treated us very fairly. He took the time to hear our story, truly understand our needs and our budget and got us in a the vehicle we truly desired. My first Subaru won't be my last! Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of going in and purchasing my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek from Ed Shults Subaru in Warren. From the first Email I had w Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of going in and purchasing my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek from Ed Shults Subaru in Warren. From the first Email I had with Don Baker, who was willing to give me pricing and information on the car from the get go (no games like other dealerships), to meeting my salesman Brad Joy, and then meeting Jeff and Nick and the other salesmen and Service department, everyone made me feel welcomed and relaxed. It such a friendly, low pressure environment, but what I liked the most was that, everyone there was excited for me and to tell me about the car I was going to get. They all are really passionate about Subaru's and what the brand represents. After doing a year of research on the car I wanted, it was nice to have a salesman like Brad who just wanted to tell me more about the car and answer any and all questions for me, instead of trying to sway me into a more expensive option. He knew what I wanted and that's exactly what he put me in! He's an awesome guy, really went above and beyond in my opinion! And Nick was really thorough explaining all of the different servicing and warranty packages available and financing options. Working in a similar department, I know the value of having extended warranties and service plans and he answered all of my questions, and explained the differences between them (more than once for me.. thanks for that Nick!). I'm already in love with my car and feel so much safer on the road ..it really is like a tank! Thank you all so much and I will be sending friends and family in your direction! More
