I went to Ed Shults Ford Lincoln to look at a SUV that I was interested in. The salesman was very friendly. His name was Scott. He was not only friendly but he was very knowledgeable as well. Called Ed Shultz Ford when my check engine light came on and diagnostic test showed waste gate solenoid problem. Was quoted $151.67 for part and $100 for labor. Made appointment for service to be done. Got and diagnostic test showed waste gate solenoid problem. Was quoted $151.67 for part and $100 for labor. Made appointment for service to be done. Got there slightly before scheduled time. Was asked if the part had already been ordered. (It seemed like they were unaware of my appointment even though it had been confirmed by text message) Was told it would be an additional $60 to $100 for them to do diagnostic. End bill was $182.00 for part, not the $151.67 I was quoted and $264 labor. Not the $100 I was quoted, or even the original $100 plus $100 for diagnostic test. Very disappointed that they don't honor their quotes. More
Rachel and the team there are great! Wish I could same about the workmanship and quality of components from the Ford factory! Why a transmission pan would rust through on a truck with 47K miles is ridicul about the workmanship and quality of components from the Ford factory!
