The service dept. quickly identified the problem based on the information that we provided which was a defective right rear wheel bearing. They said the Santa Fe would need to go to Jamestown for warranty work to replace the bearing. The following morning we dropped of the Santa Fe and vehicle was taken by Shults personnel to their service dept. in Jamestown. (I don't understand why the wheel bearing couldn't be shipped to Olean and replacement done locally.) We were promised the Santa Fe would be ready when we got out of work the next that day. Later that day we arrived at Shults just after 5p which was the time service dept. closed. We assumed that the Santa Fe was in the shop or in the parking lot. No such luck. We called Jamestown service dept. which was closed as well. SOMEBODY should have called us to let us know that our vehicle never made it back to Olean. We called Jamestown service dept. the following a.m. We were told that the repair was finished late in the day and Shults was not able to get it back to Olean. After work that day we picked up the Santa Fe and headed home absent the rear end noise that was getting louder with each passing day. Everyone was nice throughout the process but failed on a key communication principle. ( keep the customer in the "loop") Based on this and previous service visits at the Jamestown service facility, I cannot in good conscience recommend this dealership service. (C+) More

Called Shults of Jamestown and expressed our wishes for what we would like to have in a vehicle but they didn't have it on the lot. Todd hunted down and had our exact want in a car within days. He even kept looking for others to find exactly the right one and we had our choice. Easy to deal with, no hassels, and treated us like we have been customers for years. The sale included excellent customer service by Christine and Kane, who gave us a detailed lesson on the use of the vehicle and its functions. My husband has a Ford (bought elsewhere) and didn't realize half of what his vehicle had in it with the Sync until Kane gave a lesson on the uses and functions of our newest Ford. The experience was wonderful and I highly recommend the Jamestown store. We will definately head back to them for our next vehicle purchase! Thanks again! More
I was at the service dept for less than thirty minutes and was charged $86 for labor. I feel this is terrible! My throttle sticking problem was a recall item on the 2007 year but because my Escape is a 20 and was charged $86 for labor. I feel this is terrible! My throttle sticking problem was a recall item on the 2007 year but because my Escape is a 2008 year they refused to cover it. I will never return to Shults Ford for service if I can avoid it. We regularly get superior service and attitude here for both our Ford and Jeep. Things are fixed right the first time and discovered problems are real. Your staff (Jim, Jayson, Kain) that I dealt with on the trade of my Ford Ranger were plain and simple "Customer Oriented" Except for a bit slow on paperwork processing which I think was due to a busy Frid trade of my Ford Ranger were plain and simple "Customer Oriented" Except for a bit slow on paperwork processing which I think was due to a busy Friday night , they took care of me. The Ranger I traded for was missing the second key and the FOB. I stopped back yesterday and that matter was taken care of. Even though this dealership isn't real close to the Erie market I would still recommend.to my friends. Dick Durst More
When we visited this dealership to test drive cars we were treated very well. We weren't pressured and all of our questions were answered timely and efficiently. It was by far the most pleasurable, painless car buying experience we have ever had. We are very pleased with the car, the people at the dealership and the deal itself. We recommend this dealer to anyone and look forward to doing business here again. More
Everyone at the used car section of the dealership was friendly and accommodating. The vehicle we looked at was available to look at and drive and nobody pressured us in any way. We did feel the price was high for a used vehicle with over 40,000 miles, and found out there was very little room for negotiating. However, salesperson, Chris Doane & his manager did keep in contact w/us and eventually we came to a deal that was fair. The only complaint I really had was the detailing of the vehicle, I expected it to be much cleaner, - no stains in carpet, crevices cleaned out, basically presented with a "like new" look & smell. Completing the deal, including all paperwork was very convenient and taken care of quickly. Hopefully the customer service doesn't stop there, as Shults offers their "Shults Advantage" for an entire year after purchase, and boasts that their Service Dept is equally committed to excellent service. More
I visited several dealerships between Buffalo and Pittsburgh so I feel as though I am almost a pro on the subject!! The guys that helped me at Shults were by far the best of all. By far the absolute best car dealer around! I worked with Josh.. but they ALL were fantastic and felt very welcoming! I am not sure exactly who I worked with but there were about 6 or 7 of them...
