My husband and I went to Ed Shults Ford Lincoln to discuss our current lease. It seems to me that every time we visit, the people there go above and beyond our expectations. Ed, Dennis and Chris were patient, gave us the information we needed to make a good personal decision as to what is available and then searched for all possible options in financing. They found discounts for us in the financing. We test drove, compared several vehicles and then picked what we felt was best for us. We drove the vehicle home later that day. All paperwork was completed quickly and efficiently. They saved us a considerable amount of money. The vehicle was spotless when we picked it up and the car's features were thoroughly explained before we left the lot. We get the feeling that our presence there is important to everyone each time we visit. More
We made our first stop at Shults while looking for a new Ford F150 truck for towing our 5th wheel camper. However, we were so impressed with the friendly, family atmosphere at this dealership we decided Shults was the place we wanted to buy. Obviously, the price had to be right as well and Todd Glenn, Justin Messina, and Chris Baker seemed to find a way to configure a deal that will fit our limited budget. It seems they have all gone that "extra mile" to make us feel like important Shults customers. When we finalized our purchase Chris Baker, the Business Manager, was easy to work with and configured the payments so they would fit our budget, Justin Messina, our sales person, spent at least an hour showing us all the features on our new truck while we asked numerous questions. We are VERY pleased with our experience and will definitely recommend Ed Shults Ford Lincoln Mercury to our friends! More
Todd Glenn was recommended to me by a co-worker. He went above and beyond to meet my needs on a vehicle and was able to help me get into an even BETTER vehicle than I had anticipated on purchasing. I travelled from Erie, PA, to purchase this vehicle and so far I am very pleased on how they have taken care of me through the entire purchase and transition from NY to PA. Dennis Sealy was a very kind and sweet gentleman who explained the entire vehilce to me. He went through all the SYNC information and I was very impressed of how knowledgeable he was with the entire vehicle with all of the bells and whistles on this vehicle. I am looking forward to working with them in the future on my next vehicle. More
I recently had my 2012 Taurus serviced and was really impressed with Mike Zolner`s level of service and attention. When my car was completed just before I picked it up, Mike Zolner personally washed my impressed with Mike Zolner`s level of service and attention. When my car was completed just before I picked it up, Mike Zolner personally washed my car because the regular car wash person went home sick unexpectedly. Mike`s shirt front was all wet and when I asked why he stated he washed my car himself because I had asked if it could be washed before I picked it up! He wanted to make sure I was not disappointed!! I call this great service and going the extra steps it takes to keep your customers happy! I would classify Mike Zolner as a great employee to have on your team! More
We were at the dealership for maintenance on our other car when Dennis saw us looking at a new Flex. He was very helpful in answering all our questions and followed up with an email. We dealt with Denni car when Dennis saw us looking at a new Flex. He was very helpful in answering all our questions and followed up with an email. We dealt with Dennis mostly over the internet for the initial negotiations, which saved us time. Todd Glenn helped us appraising our trade while we test drove the Flex. The final dealing at the dealership went smooth with Dennis & Todd and super service after the deal continues. More
My dad has purchased 3 vehicles from Shults and they have always treated him very well. I wanted the same customer experience as he did so I went, and Chris helped me pick the most perfect car that fits who always treated him very well. Never having been there before, we simply walked into the Jamestown dealership and asked if there was anyone there who could show us a new 2013 Ford Explorer. He treated us as though we were the only customers in the show room that day and spent a great deal of time evaluating our vehicle needs, and without any pressure what so ever, helped us decide, on our own, that the 2013 Ford Expedition would better meet our real needs then the Ford Explorer . Todd went into great detail to explain that the Expedition presented the best overall value and spent a lot of time explaining all of the aspects and advantages associated with this model as compared to the Explorer. Todd then put togther a purchase package on a new 2013 Expedition that was better then we had expected, and when it came time to take delivery of our new Expedition, Todd made sure that we understood all the features that our new vehicle had to offer. Service started at the Shults dealer in Olean where our Service started at the Shults dealer in Olean where our Hyundai Santa Fe was purchased. The service dept. quickly identified the problem based on th Service started at the Shults dealer in Olean where our Hyundai Santa Fe was purchased. The service dept. quickly identified the problem based on the information that we provided which was a defective right rear wheel bearing. They said the Santa Fe would need to go to Jamestown for warranty work to replace the bearing. The following morning we dropped of the Santa Fe and vehicle was taken by Shults personnel to their service dept. in Jamestown. (I don't understand why the wheel bearing couldn't be shipped to Olean and replacement done locally.) We were promised the Santa Fe would be ready when we got out of work the next that day. Later that day we arrived at Shults just after 5p which was the time service dept. closed. We assumed that the Santa Fe was in the shop or in the parking lot. No such luck. We called Jamestown service dept. which was closed as well. SOMEBODY should have called us to let us know that our vehicle never made it back to Olean. We called Jamestown service dept. the following a.m. We were told that the repair was finished late in the day and Shults was not able to get it back to Olean. After work that day we picked up the Santa Fe and headed home absent the rear end noise that was getting louder with each passing day. Everyone was nice throughout the process but failed on a key communication principle. ( keep the customer in the "loop") Based on this and previous service visits at the Jamestown service facility, I cannot in good conscience recommend this dealership service. (C+) More
