I live in Chicago and work here in Saint Clair Shores, I was referred by a friend to visit Ed Rinke Chevrolet. Lets just say that it was refreshing to do business with people who actually cares about their was referred by a friend to visit Ed Rinke Chevrolet. Lets just say that it was refreshing to do business with people who actually cares about their clients. I will highly recommend Ed Rinke Chevrolet to my friends and family. Took my 2015 camaro ss in for service ,the HVAC controls were not working. They diagnosed exactly what I told them,stated I needed radio and ac control unit. Quote Was $1200.00 I shuddered but said make t were not working. They diagnosed exactly what I told them,stated I needed radio and ac control unit. Quote Was $1200.00 I shuddered but said make the repair. They then told me the part was on backorder,so I went to get my car. I arrived they wanted $99.95 for diagnostics i complained then paid. They bring out my car the radio is falling out the dash.i lost my mind poed They took my car in did a xxxx repair ,manager gets out my car and said there's your hundred dollars we don't want your money or business. I took my car about a mile later my radio fell out of the dash So I give them a minus 100000000000000 Never go back More
This is a bad dealership. They took $1000 check just to find a car, that they couldn't find. Difficult to get a refund. Said it would take 10 days for the check to clear. I would give negative stars if I could. This would have been our 4th car with Rinke. We will never be back. Our salesperson said he could get a hitch added and he would personally remove the crossbars from our current car and put on new car. We waited more than a week for the hitch. We arrived at the scheduled pick up time to an unprepared salesperson and filthy car inside and out. After waiting more than an hour, my husband approached the female sales manager To get assistance with the situation. Salesperson was complaining about customer service help and seemed unable to handle. Sales manager immediately tried to throw gift cards at us. We merely wanted a new car that looked new and to be on our way. We are high risk for Covid and needed to feel the car was safe. We agreed to come back the next day. When we returned the car was still filthy but this time the hood was filled with scratches. The manager wanted us to wait until who know when for them to send to their collision shop. This was Friday. On Monday, we got a call inquiring if we still wanted the car as they would send to shop. But we had walked into the Honda Dealership that previous Friday and drove out with a beautiful CRV with roof crossbars & hitch added an hour later. Just an amazing difference in service, car quality and professionalism. I don’t think we’ll ever by a GM product again but are certain we will never return to Rinke! More
I purchased a precertified 2018 Chevrolet Trax on 07/06/20. My salesperson was Rich Balogh. He was professional and on the ball. I would recommend this person to anyone who is in the market for a used or a precertified vehicle. I also want to thank Loren Rey, the person in finance that was also very helpful. He walked me all through my finance documents and took the time to answer any questions I had. All in all an awesome experience and I will be back as the need arises. Kathi Ratz More

The phone number alone will not go through to the business. I ordered a part from them and have not heard from them in five days. I paid $27 for express 2 day shipping that has not even been sent out yet. I have spent hours on hold with the parent company Ed Rinke Buick Chevrolet GMC waiting on assistance that never comes. I hope this helps others in their decision on parts they need and pay a rush on. More

The first visit waited for over two hours with no sales rep able to assist so I left. Returned a couple of weeks later and the same thing. Was told a sales rep would assist. He spoke with me and said he was with another customer. Waited two hours for no results. This place is a joke and will not get my business. More
My experience with Ed Rinke is horrible everytime . I would not recommend this dealership to anyone , the service is horrible along with the communication , every time that I have dealt with this dealer I would not recommend this dealership to anyone , the service is horrible along with the communication , every time that I have dealt with this dealership my experience has been very unprofessional no one returns your calls to let you no what is going on with your car you call the service certain and all you get is the run around and a lot of different stories , they will close for today and no will notify you concerning your car and you are left to figure out how to get to work or how you are going to take care of your business without transportation , I will never come back there for service or refer any one to do busy at this location at all I have made written complaints as verbal complaints and all you heard is that I am sorry and sometime sorry doesn't get it ,I had to miss work today because I have no transportation I was not offered a rented or anything I will never do business with Ed Rinke again in life I am done. I can understand half an hour to an hour delay or something, but I expected to be notified. They have no respect or regards for customers time. They choose to ignore my direct complaint to the dealership. Avoid this dealership and go somewhere else. More
