Edward W. Napleton, opened his first automotive business in 1931 on Chicago's South Side. With a $700 loan, a strong work ethic and a belief in common courtesy, he opened the Napleton Buick Service Station. Francis Napleton, Edward's son, was by his side to help foster the growth of the young business in its early years.
Napleton's first dealership was a DeSoto franchise, and when that brand was discontinued with little warning, Napleton quickly aligned itself with another Chrysler nameplate, Plymouth, eventually being awarded several additional franchises. Edward and Francis both believed in hard work and exceptional customer service, values that they passed down to the next generation of Napletons. Five of Francis' eight children have worked in the auto business their entire lives.
Edward F. ("Ed") Napleton, Francis' son, is a third-generation auto dealer. He began his career as a kid sweeping the floors at the dealership owned by his father and grandfather. He moved up the ranks, serving as a technician, then in sales and finance, and eventually as a general manager. At just 23 years of age, Ed became the youngest car dealer in the United States when he was awarded a Pontiac dealership in Blue Island, Illinois.
Today the Napleton Family operates more than 50 dealerships in four states. What started as a small family-owned business has blossomed into one of the most forward-thinking dealership groups in the country.
Ed's business has grown to include 31 franchises - housed in 15 different locations - in three states. He owns domestic, import and high line franchises, and employs more than 1000 people throughout Illinois, Florida and Missouri. Four of Ed's five children have proudly joined him in pursuing the family business and have a hand in the company's day-to-day operations.

Excellent Customer Service Maurice Thomas is the best!!! Everytime I come into the Honda dealership it is always a great pleasure working with Maurice. We have sent him customers and he treats them just as well. He is not a "pushy salesman" he treats us like we are friends. When I am ready to trade in my Honda, I will definitely work with Maurice. Whenever I bring I my car in to get washed, if it was wasn't to his liking, Mo rolls up his sleeves and makes sure that it is right. Now that is what I call excellent customer service!!!! More

Not only excellent, but also efficient service My wife and I found a 2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid for sale at the Ed Napleton Honda dealership in Law Oaks. We called to inquire about the car and My wife and I found a 2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid for sale at the Ed Napleton Honda dealership in Law Oaks. We called to inquire about the car and they provided use all the necessary information. Being as we are from Colorado and planned to fly out and drive home, they were very helpful in making sure we knew all the information and with complete accuracy. Garvey himself picked me up from the airport. They were very knowledgable about the car even though it was a Toyota at their Honda dealership. More

I came onto the lot with my eyes on a Nissan Coupe, and hoping to trade in my older truck as well. Safe to say both of these goals were accomplished and I have to thank Brandon for that. The Nissan was in great condition when I arrived for my test drive, Brandon was very friendly and honest with me as we talked through everything, and even gave me a fair trade in price for my truck.
