Rob that writes service tickets and actually does the work can absolutely diagnose and had a dogged determination to find a way to help the customer first and doing that well helps the dealership! I would seek this mechanic out if within 250 miles of south fla. also the other service tech Javier is also very friendly and goes above what most techs will do .most women who are reluctant to trust a mechanic don't be afraid to go to ED MORSE AUTO MALL IN SUNRISE AND ASK FOR ROB OR JAVIER, also the Cadillac road side Bruce is also more than your average roadside courtesy mechanic, these three are the real deal and throw backs to an era when a mechanic used diagnostic machines butEXPERIENCE to fix your car . I drive hard, race dirt track, and am willing to have my wife's car towed 250 miles for these techs to work on it that's how much faith and trust I have in these master mechanics. More
I called Ed Morse Auto Mall with questions about the Buick Enclave & was referred to David Miller. Dave took the time to answer my questions & suggested I drop by for a test drive. When I arrived he already had a 2013 Enclave ready & waiting to take out for spin. He went over all the features & options that were available. I fell in love with the vehicle & had a very specific wish list. Ray Kurian the Sales Manager wanted to make sure that I was getting exactly what I wanted. He took the extra step to search for the vehicle that I wanted & came up with a beautiful vehicle. The sales process was excellent & the terms were exactly as I had expected. They even purchased my previous vehicle! Antonio Mesa the Finance Consultant had all of the paperwork ready for me to sign & drive so there was not a minute spent waiting. After moving to S Florida and purchasing my first vehicle- Cadillac CTS the last thing I wanted was problems at the dealership. I purchased my vehicle at an Infinity dealership. I brought my vehicle in at TWO OTHER Cadillac dealerships at got the runaround. First, I made an appointment with a service rep over the phone and the next day when I showed up he was out sick. No big deal. I was handed over to another service rep who was very nice and understood my concerns. He looked over the car, took notes, and acknowledged my concerns. The next day I brought my car in at 8:30 in the morning. By 3 o'clock i received a call explaining that no work had been done on my car. For the record my car only needed some light tuning. I picked up my car after work and the next day sent an email to Cadillac Corporate. I received a call from someone who asked me about my concerns and said they would fix the problem. The next day I received a call from LARRY EACHO at ED MORSE SAWGRASS. He asked me what I was having trouble with and told me to bring the car in. The next morning I brought my vehicle in and right away I knew I was going to be taken care of. LARRY sat me down in his office and IMMEDIATELY began to arrange for a rental. That blew me away. He noted all my concerns and spoke to me with a level of understanding that is rare. I told him i'm new to S Florida and need my Cadillac to run smoothly. I didn't want any games or nonsense. His assistant was there and while Larry and I spoke his assistant offered me some Nitrogen for the tires. I wasn't interested in buying anything and was a bit annoyed, but I didn't say anything. When LARRY and i finished speaking I left feeling a lot better about leaving my vehicle with him. The rental was ready and off to work I went. The next day LARRY's assistant called me and APOLOGIZED for trying to sell me a product when what i needed was service. WOW!!! My car was at ED MORSE for 3 days and everyday I received a call explaining what work had been done. EXCELLENT!!! LARRY EVEN FOUND some coupons I could use to bring my costs down. I picked up my vehicle when it was ready and it was just as I had left it... but better. brakes were tighter, inside carpets were vacuumed, I was good. LARRY IS THE BEST. HANDS DOWN. I was so impressed with his level of communication, honesty, and dependability that I personally met with the Dealership Service Manager, Mike. I told him about the level of service that LARRY had provided and that I wanted to acknowledge that in person. LARRY gets it!! HE KNOWS HOW TO LISTEN, OFFER SOLUTIONS, AND MAKE HIS CLIENTS FEEL COMFORTABLE. I Will ONLY DEAL WITH LARRY or SOMEONE HE RECOMMENDS. PERIOD. HE'S A GREAT PERSON. MEET HIM AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT I MEAN. Very professional, David found us another rebate that we weren't aware of, and saved us an additional $750. There was a programming issue on the Navigation system that was discovered the day I picked up th weren't aware of, and saved us an additional $750. I have bought my last 5 GM vehicles through the Internet sales department at various GM dealerships. It is a fantastic way of purchasing a vehicle because it lets you work out the details and costs ahead o sales department at various GM dealerships. It is a fantastic way of purchasing a vehicle because it lets you work out the details and costs ahead of time. This way you know just what to expect when you go into the dealership. Apparently that is not the way the Internet sales department works at Ed Morse-Sawgrass Auto Mall. The Ed Morse Internet sales department is just another mechanism to lure the naive customer into the dealership. (And I was the next naive customer.) My Ed Morse-Sawgrass Auto Mall Experience... I found a lease deal special on the Ed Morse web site and contacted the Internet sales department. I talked with Jay from the Internet sales department a few times who gave me an estimate of the up front costs, verified the particular car was in stock, and scheduled an appointment to purchase the vehicle. After a 30 mile drive, my wife and I arrive at the dealership. We are greeted by the floor manager and handed off to a sales associate who was given little or no information about our situation. We spent the first hour riding around the dealership trying to find the particular vehicle we were interested in. Turns out that the vehicle of interest was not in stock after all (even though Jay verified it was) so we made a second choice. The sales associate took us to his office; asked us a few questions; entered some information into the computer; and gets up and just disappears for 15-20 minutes. He arrives back with the lease numbers. The monthly payments were more than the advertised price and the up front costs included 2 or 3 significant costs that Jay neglected to tell me about. Time to talk to the manager. About 5-10 minutes later my wife and I are surrounded by the floor manager, Internet sales manager, Jay, and the sales associate. We were told that the reason why our numbers were higher was because Jay forgot a few of the up front costs and we did no qualify for 1 or 2 of the rebates. (There was no mention by Jay ahead of time about qualifying for any rebates.) They came back with a second set of numbers that still were not the advertised numbers. At this point my stomach was in knots and my wife and I walked out. Two hours and 60 miles of driving wasted. Thanks Ed Morse Internet sales department. I did receive a call from Jay about an hour later stating that the floor manager agreed to follow through on the exact lease deal. Are you kidding me??? You are the last dealership I would do business with after what you put me through. The next day I leased the vehicle from Lou Bachrodt and guess what... the numbers I discussed with their Internet sales department were exactly the same when I showed up in their dealership. More
