The vehicle we purchased had two worn hubs that upon later inspection by their service department, was identified and estimated at approximately $800 to replace. I know the hubs were worn when we bought the vehicle because it was within four months of purchase and the noise from the hubs was present from day one. Instead of giving Sellers-Sexton any more of my business, I took the vehicle to Expert Tire and had it repaired for the same amount as Sellers-Sexton would have charged. However, I have the satisfaction knowing that Sellers-Sexton will never get another penny from me and I offer my story to anyone that asks about my experience with that dealership. It is my opinion that Sellers-Sexton is all about money and not about customers. It is a shame that they prey on the military community and their reputation is less than mediocre. More
My wife and I went in looking to downgrade our 2000 Yukon XL for something smaller and less gas consuming. We weren't really looking to buy at the time and when Andrew came and greeted us we let him know what are situation was and he immediately helped us out with is knowledge of the vehicle that we were interested in (Mazda CX-9). At no point did did Andrew try pushing us into a sale right there on the spot instead he treated us like family and made sure that we felt good about are selection of vehicle. Although it was after hours Andrew let us take the vehicle for a test drive and when we return the sales manager let my wife and I take it home so that we could see if we could fit all the family in. The next morning we returned the vehicle and Andrew still did not try to seal a deal trying to push us to buy. He wanted us to feel comfortable with our decision and gave us time to think about things. In the end because the dealership was so friendly with us and treated us like family the buying experience was awesome. More

She was able to match our needs with Sellers-Sexton Ford vehicle and we couldn't be more pleased with both the vehicle and the great price we paid. The best way I can express my satisfaction is to say Sellers-Sexton Ford will be my car dealer of choice from this point forward. You can also be assured that when I go to Sellers-Sexton Ford the person I will ask for is Jinger Woodworth. From the moment I walked into the door (repeat customer) I was treated extremely well including a fresh pot of coffee made by Kent. I had a fairly good idea of what I wanted but that exact car was not avail I was treated extremely well including a fresh pot of coffee made by Kent. I had a fairly good idea of what I wanted but that exact car was not available. Both Joanna and Kent went out of their way to help me find exactly what I had in mind. And in the meantime I had every opportunity to test drive vehicles and even take them home overnight. When we had it narrowed down to the exact car Joanna searched high and low until she found what I wanted about 130 Miles away from here. The car was delivered and had 3 tiny problems that the other dealership (Crane) "forgot" to mention. Joanna made arrangements and took care of EVERYTHING that needed to be done. When I first came in Joanna was off and so I started this process with Kent and had a blast.....both are so friendly, so easy going - THANK YOU for finding my BLU for me. More
After turning down the deal saeveral times they figured out the best way to get me into the truck that I wanted for the deal i was looking for. I purchased a used vehicle that broke down 10 days after purchase. They told their boss they had told me the clutch was bad --- they had not. They never, once, mentioned anything wrong with the vehicle - bu purchase. They told their boss they had told me the clutch was bad --- they had not. They never, once, mentioned anything wrong with the vehicle - but, since I purchased it, "as is" - it's my problem and they're not interested in any future contact. They "owe" me a safety inspection which they have made no attempt to take care of (they're aware my vehicle is "out of commission") yet is necessary (and legally required) to license vehicle. They have made no attempts to resolve this issue, or install the mud flaps I purchased and fog lights they owed me, as of yet. Missouri REQUIRES a safety inspection yet the vehicle could not be driven after 10 days. DMV wonders how the dealership was even able to slap a temp plate on the truck without a current state inspection. The folks at Sellers-Sexton were wonderful UNTIL they made the sale -- then they would have nothing to do with me. I'm now stuck with a vehicle that isn't legal to drive, is liable to break down -- how do I know? and as of late, Sellers-Sexton has made no attempt to contact me other than to offer to "fix" the clutch-problem, at my cost (for towing, parts, and labor)-- and to remind me that I purchased the vehicle "as is" and they have no responsibility beyond the sale.
