We were in the market for a new vehicle for Rebecca. Our choices were narrowed down to a crossover SUV. On Saturday November 19, 2011 we had stopped by Ed Morse of Tampa, where Ken Cranford greeted us and a choices were narrowed down to a crossover SUV. On Saturday November 19, 2011 we had stopped by Ed Morse of Tampa, where Ken Cranford greeted us and asked what brought us to Ed Morse. We advised Ken that we were just looking with a possible purchase in the first part of next year. There was no sales pressure from Ken about buying now and today. He just provided us with more information then we knew about Cadillac and what specials they have at this moment that we may not want to pass up. We looked at a 2011 SRX, and I knew from there we were going to purchase it. Not making an impulse decision, we left Ed Morse so we can talk about it alone and leave Ken with the idea we are still looking in January 2012. My wife and I talked at great lengths at what advantages the Cadillac SRX has over the other makes. We also talked about, for the first time and all the vehicles we have purchased, Ken along with Ed Morse Cadillac of Tampa made us feel very comfortable and they seemed to really care more about what we wanted and not just to sell a vehicle. The only negative in our conversation was that the SRX we were contemplating really didn’t have all the options that Rebecca wanted. Sunday afternoon, I searched Cadillac’s website for a vehicle that more closely meets our needs. We found a 2011 SRX Luxury with navigation at another dealership close to our home. I made an offer on it and they countered with what I though as a great deal. We talked some more and decided that we shouldn’t pass it up. Feeling we had made a connection with Ken and Ed Morse Cadillac of Tampa, we brought to his attention their competition’s offer. I had explained what we had done to the other dealership and they couldn’t understand why I would do such a thing. I advised them out of respect for how Ken and Ed Morse treated us and they should have the same chance at our business as them. On Monday afternoon, Ken called me with even a better offer. Not only was the offer lower then their competitor’s, but it was also on a higher priced 2011 SRX Performance. We never advised what Ed Morse’s offer was to the other dealership, because they questioned our integrity, we just advised them we were going with Ed Morse. Tuesday, November 29, 2011 we closed the deal on our new 2011 Black SRX Performance. The process was streamlined and painless. Ken Cranford took us around the dealership and introduced us to everyone and showed us the other departments. One of the most impressive thing; was the time Ken took to explain our vehicle to us. He spent time with step by step instructions on setting up the vehicle for my wife’s needs. We thank Ken and all the Ed Morse staff for all they done, I know we will spread the word and be back for not only service, but when the time comes to purchase another vehicle. I have been describing to my friends and family his service and your establishment as very classy. Everyone treated us with respect, I was joined by my son and granddaughter who was a little active. Blanton really cared about my desire to drive home with that vehicle and did everything in his power to help me achieve that. This was my first purchase and dealings with a dealership and I was very impressed. I had always purchased through private sellers. The option to bring my car in anytime I am in Tampa for a wash is awesome. Blanton gave me a call to see how i was doing and offered his assistance if I ever needed anything. The dealership was very accommodating to my schedule. I was able to have a set appointment and the sales person did not use the typical pressure tactic that are a real turn off when purchasing a vehicle. Scot Olds let me test drive the vehicle and explained all the feature of the 2012 SRX model. He also let me look at several other vehicles on the lot with different options and features. Fortunately, I did alot of research before visiting the dealership so I knew the information he gave me was honest and true. I provided a USAA purchase price certificate and offers given by other dealerships. He was able to meet my price and expedited our purchase agreement. I'm currently serving in the Air Force in South Korea and initially saw the vehicle on line. I had a cousin that coordinated the pricing with Ms. Karen Barrese. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about how purchasing a vehicle through email, etc would turn out. However, the experience was seamless. My situation was daunting. I am in Korea, my bank is in England and I'm working with Ms. Barrese in the U.S. to ensure that I was provided with all the pertinent information in regards to finalizing my vehicle purchase. Ms. Barrese was with me every single step of the way. Each day she emailed me with what documents were required and kept me abreast of the status of the vehicle purchase. She worked hand-in-hand with my bank loan representative and coordinated the purchase order, odometer reading and payment of the vehicle. She also went above and beyond to make herself available-outside of normal business hours-to coordinate and ensure that I had the proper insurance required by the state of Florida-as my insurance policy was for overseas. Ms. Barrese was diligent in providing my bank with all required documentation-in a timely manner-in order for my bank to verify the vehicle's value and to process the check. Ms. Barrese also kept me informed on the process the entire way. She also took it upon herself to contact my parents and coordinate the collection of my vehicle. Yet again, Ms. Barrese went above and beyond to inspect and explain all the vehicle's details and features to my parents. She has also offered her time to walk me through the vehicle's feature when I am in Tampa next month to collect the vehicle. Ms. Barrese was very courteous, professional and her timely responses to all my queries and concerns were impeccable. There is none better. In closing, I would like to thank Ms. Barrese once again for all her tireless efforts, never ending professionalism and unparallelled customer service skills-all second to none.
