At the end of December 2018 I finally was able to purchase my retirement gift, a 2016 Cadillac Escalade, after 22 years of service in the U.S. Navy. I decided to purchase a certified vehicle because Cadillac provided a warranty and a guarantee that the vehicle was safe, dependable, and met the high standards of the Cadillac brand. Since my purchase I have had nothing but issues. I bought the SUV with about 38,500 miles on it. It’s practically and new truck and was still under the factory warranty as well. I have had to return my “Certified” SUV to the dealership three times already. The first was because one of my Key Fobs did not work. During the first week of having the truck the radio CUE system stopped working and needed to be replaced. And recently, less than 3000 miles and 3 months later after purchase, my front brakes on the truck were so bad that it was rubbing metal to metal between the rotor and pads. This is the reason I am writing this letter. I bought my truck in Brandon, FL at Ed Morse Cadillac. I live in Jacksonville, FL however the certified SUV I had been looking for turned up there as I did to purchase my retirement gift. Last week my brakes started squealing to the point they sounded like a train trying to emergency stop and I had to take the SUV in for the 3rd visit to a locally certified Cadillac dealership, Claude Nolan. I have received nothing but the best service there. My servicing agent told me that my brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced because the pad was down to the medal. I asked how could that be for a certified Cadillac SUV that has less than 3,000 miles and 3 months on it? They told me to call Ed Morse Cadillac, who certified my vehicle, to see if that part was looked at during the certification process. Just so happens it had been looked at. Claude Nolan, my Jacksonville certified dealership, was in such disbelief that they told me to take the rotors and pad to show Ed Morse in case they didn’t believe me. After talking to Cheryl Hennen (warranty manager) and George Voltsis (Service Manager) about if they were going to refund my money because no certified vehicle should have metal to metal brakes in such a short period of time they provided nothing but excuses. They asked questions like, “where you towing anything or what kind of driving were you doing?” Does it matter, that is what the truck is built for. For the record, all I have been towing is my kids around. I was also provided the excuse of, “we didn’t get to see the rotors and pads by one of OUR technicians so we won’t pay for it.” I bought it from a certified dealership and took it to be repaired at another certified dealership. If Cadillac trains their mechanics the same should it matter where I take it? I have sent pictures of the scrapped up rotors and bare metal pads and they still treat me as though I am a nobody. I would not recommend Ed Morse Cadillac to anyone in my circle of friends and family nor anyone in my Veteran’s group. I have spent my time taking my “Certified Cadillac” to the dealership on 3 different occasions to fix “certified” items and this time I’m out of pocket $598. When I asked the service manager, “what would happen if my family was in the truck with me and my SUV didn’t stop” he blew me off and proceeded to tell me that if his mechanics didn’t see it they aren’t responsible. I feel sorry for the cold-heartedness of this dealership and anyone who buys a car from them. They could care less about me, it’s all about the dollar. Ticked Off Vet, B.G. More

Excellent service Made an appointment to change engine oil and rotate the tires. Arrived at the dealer in Brandon and the person who made my appointment over the phone Made an appointment to change engine oil and rotate the tires. Arrived at the dealer in Brandon and the person who made my appointment over the phone mistakenly gave me an appointment in the Tampa dealer. I have always taken my car to the dealer in Brandon which I live close by. My usual service rep Michael Pullaro saw me and came by to say hi and asked who was I there to see. When I told Michael he looked up my appointment and saw that they scheduling department made a mistake and had me going to Tampa instead of Brandon. He immediately said no problem and took care of me. That's what I call Excellent Service. Thank you Michael! More

Best Dealership in Tampa Bay I've bought 3 Cadillacs from Ed Morse Brandon and I will continue to return. It is a very well-run business with phenomenal customer service both in S I've bought 3 Cadillacs from Ed Morse Brandon and I will continue to return. It is a very well-run business with phenomenal customer service both in Sales and in Service. I've always been taken seriously and catered to, whether finding the right vehicle to buy or lease, or simply coming in for regular maintenance. I usually have something very specific in mind when purchasing a vehicle and the team at Ed Morse has come through each time with the perfect car! My current CTS sedan that is decked out like a "V" (but not a V!) is the coolest car ever. When I've had questions about service related items, my service guy (Mike) always gets right back to me and never hesitates to resolve issues immediately over the phone, when possible. When visiting the dealership for service, the waiting area is comfortable and well-appointed with snacks, beverages, etc I can't say enough about this place and will continue to be a loyal customer. I was there to have a light replaced. Mike was very considerate and did an outstanding job with my repair work. The car was also washed and cleaned to my satisfaction after the repair. Customer service is not customer selling I’ve been on/off disappointed with Morse service for the past 5 years. As of today...we are done. I’ve driven from Lakeland to Clearwater to try Dimmi I’ve been on/off disappointed with Morse service for the past 5 years. As of today...we are done. I’ve driven from Lakeland to Clearwater to try Dimmitt. Let’s fast forward to the last straw and what has finally caused our divorce. CUE. Yep...the infamous CUE system. After having this unit serviced a few times and, ultimately replaced by Morse, it’s out AGAIN. That’s a Cadillac embarrassment for another day. But, why would the service manager simply brush me off with “we will try to reset and see if that helps; otherwise, you’re looking at $1100-$1200 to replace”. Oh, and then proceeds to “advise” I need $900 in fluid changes. Yep...getting right on it 👌🏼. The nerve. Why would my husband, a moderator on several car forums, hit the forums and find that Cadillac has a refurb and Goodwill program to assist with repairs for this KNOWN debacle(?). So, we’ve been working with an “Infotainment” rep out of CA to get assistance. I told Cadillac, I was not going back to Ed Morse because they are only interested in selling not servicing. They called Dimmitt for me. I’m sitting at Dimmitt waiting while the CUE system is being replaced. They contacted Cadillac and got it authorized for replacement for $155 deductible from me. Ed Morse...why did you not do the same? I can only assume there is some type of compensation or bonus attached to service manager compensation that causes them to gauge instead of fo what is fair and just. Shame on you. Never again. It’s a beautiful, peaceful time of reflection to cross the bay and come 50+ miles to Dimmitt, my new servicer. Where do you think we will buy when we get ready? Ed Morse? So silly!! You lost far more than $1200 for a CUE and $900 for fluids. Far more. Divorce is very expensive. Bye bye now. More
