Went to Bayview Cadillac to pay off my lease and the first salesman told me I they require a vehicle safety check that cost $250. I went back a couple of days later to see if they could waive the fee an first salesman told me I they require a vehicle safety check that cost $250. I went back a couple of days later to see if they could waive the fee and a different salesman told me the charge was $300. He then spoke with the general mgr who reduced the charge to $150. I contacted General Motors and they sent an inspector to my house and told me the vehicle was in excellent condition. Bayview still wanted to do a safety check at my cost. This safety check and fee was not in the lease contract where every other possible charge is listed. During these trying times why is this dealership taking advantage of the elderly? More
