Derek was very helpful, knowledgeable and prompt in his communications with me. Initially they didn't have the exact vehicle I was looking for but Derek worked hard to find me what I wanted. He knew what he was talking about and was friendly, patient and listened in order to understand what I was after and the budget I was looking to stay in. After having things pushed on me at other dealers, I was so put off that I nearly quit looking for a car altogether. Then, I contacted Derek Manis at Ed Martin Toyota. Derek was extremely patient, friendly and laid-back, and didn't try to push anything on me. He didn't bat an eye when I said I needed to think about it before committing to a purchase. He was extremely helpful and was quick to respond to any questions and concerns that I had. He even let me use the phone to work out coverage details with my insurance company! This Saturday my Wife was shopping for a Hybrid Vehicle. She had narrowed it down to 3 different Hybrid's. After a terrible experience and the Lexus Dealership and then finding the Honda Dealership didnt ha She had narrowed it down to 3 different Hybrid's. After a terrible experience and the Lexus Dealership and then finding the Honda Dealership didnt have a Hybrid in all of their 250 vehicles on the lot, I then called Derek Manis at Ed Martin Toyota 5 minutes before they closed. I told Derek my Wife wanted a Black Prius 2 with Grey Interior and what I needed for my Lexus Trade. Derek replied "We will have it ready when you get here". My wife being a type one diabetic even had to stop and get a quick bite to eat at Arby's and then drive to Anderson from 96th/Keystone in Indianapolis. When we arrived at Ed Martin Derek greeted me and my wife and the Black Prius was prepped and ready to go. His entire team had stayed over to help with our purchase. His appraiser I dont know his name looked at our Lexus and gave us what we needed for Trade-In and after 10 minutes filing out a credit app for Toyota Credit we moved over to the Finance area. Tyler Porter the Finance Mgr was just as awesome and answered all of our questions and got my wife's loan approved on the spot. We ended up leaving the dealership 2 full hours after they closed. This is one of the best purchasing experiences I have ever had. First of all, Sky and Tony both treated me with the utmost respect. It's difficult being a woman buying a vehicle. Most dealerships assume you need permission from your hubby or that you are not really interested in buying because you probably don't have any money. Not at this dealership! They were super friendly, extremely honest, and knew their product! They didn't have my Scion xB Release Series 9.0 at their dealership, so Sky looked at some other locations and found me one, got it sent to his store, and got it completely ready for me within 3 days! AND let me use a loaner vehicle (which was really nice and very clean) until my vehicle was ready! They were never condenscending or rude. They made the process extremely easy and I fully plan to buy other vehicles from them, whenever we may need one. Super glad I found this awesome dealership! They really know the meaning of great customer service. Oh yeah, AND they even got me a waaaay better interest % than even my credit union could with a longer term! Great job guys! Oh! And the new Scion xB Release Series 9.0 is GORGEOUS!!! Thanks again! More
