They asked m My experience at this dealership was my WORST EVER. Please don't buy here ,on a used vehicle they will ask you to sign a " REBATE FORM" . They asked me to just sign this green shaded form only. What they will not tell you is that there are two boxes that could be checked midways on the page. One box reads that you want the rebate ( who would not want the rebate). the other box say s the dealer gets the rebate. When I checked the box that I wanted the rebate Mark Clouse (finance manager) went berserk !!!!! YELLED AT US, YES YELLED AT US TO GET OUT OF HIS OFFICE!!!!! The salesman ,Scott Harmeyer , started the very ugly ,bizarre incident by changing the price on the car and blamed it on the "REBATE" .Has anyone EVER heard of getting a rebate on a used car ?EVERY WORD THAT I PUT ON THIS REVIEW IS TRUE. If you know anyone that has ever purchased a vehicle from Ed Martin Nissan at 802 N. Shadeland please ask them to review their purchase agreement VERY CAREFULLY to account for every dollar .BUYER BEWARE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!! The general manager Todd Reiselman was of no help either. Overall grade F- More
Unhappy after purchasing three cars 3 days after picking up our 3rd vehicle in less than 3 months from Ed Martin Nissan a problem arose. We immediately called our salesman who apologize 3 days after picking up our 3rd vehicle in less than 3 months from Ed Martin Nissan a problem arose. We immediately called our salesman who apologized and assured us Ed Martin stands behind all the cars they sell. The problem was diagonosed by Ed Martin's service folks who fixed the minor issue and assured us there would be no further problems. A few weeks later than minor problem that Ed Martin service fixed turned into a major problem. All along our salesman assured us we would be taken care of, we where "his customers" and Ed Martin always stood behind the vehicles they sell. Our vehicle was in the shop for 60 of the 134 days we owned it, our salesman promised (via conversation, text and e-mail) to reimuburse us for the repairs that cost more than $3,900, in one case even telling us the check was in the mail by describing the envlope it was sent in. We never recieved the check and out of the need to have a safe and reliable vehicle were forced to trade the car without resolution on the reimbursement or acknowledgement from the salesman, the used car general manager and the dealership general manager of the untruths and outright deceit. If you want to a car buying expirience with honesty and integrity we recommend you stay away from the used car building at Ed Martin Nissan on Shadeland Ave. More
The Service Manager told me that my car should smell like sewage/sulfur and it is common with 50-60 degree weather. I suggest that if your vehicle smells like sewage/sulfur just keep it and dont bother buyin sewage/sulfur and it is common with 50-60 degree weather. I bought a new Nissan Altima in 2007 and I went to several different dealerships before I finally bought my car. They not only worked with me to get the car I wanted but when one couldn't be found, th several different dealerships before I finally bought my car. They not only worked with me to get the car I wanted but when one couldn't be found, they made a great deal with me on one very similar. Three years later, there was an internal problem with my transmission and because I lived closer to Tom Wood Nissan, I took it to that service worried that I wouldn't be able to make it to Ed Martin. That was a mistake as I later found out. My car sat on their lot for 10 weeks due to paperwork/warrenty issues on Nissan Corporate's end while I drove their loaner. I jumped through hoops and talked to everyone at Nissan consumer affairs before calling Todd Reiselman at Ed Martin (where I bought my car) to tell him the situation. Although I bought my car from his location 3 years ago and I didn't take it back there for this problem, he still went above and beyond his job description and made the right phone calls to expedite the paperwork. Due to unfortunately circumstances with communication at Tom Wood, I ended up having to bring my loaner back to Tom Wood before my car was finished and was left without transportation. Todd stepped in again and made phone calls to resolve the situation, he even offered to give me a loaner if Tom Wood didn't. He has been wonderful from the process of buying my car through this whole ordeal. In his book, once a customer, always a customer. Ed Martin takes care of their consumers, I won't go anywhere else. I purchased my new Altima from Ed Martin Nissan and I love my car. The sales staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had the exact options and color I wanted. I just took it in f love my car. The sales staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had the exact options and color I wanted. I just took it in for it's first oil change and I was greeted by the sales person who sold me the car and he spent about 10 minutes with me to make sure that I was satisfied with the car. I have been buying cars for over 20 years no one has ever done that before. These people are great. Highly recommend!! More
