BE PREPARED TO BE DISAPPOINTED (OR FLAT OUT LIED TO)I arrived with a written quote from them in one hand and money in the other hand only to be told that the WRITTEN price quote from them would not be ho arrived with a written quote from them in one hand and money in the other hand only to be told that the WRITTEN price quote from them would not be honored because the manager who had authorized it was not in that day. But of course they would be more than happy to get me in my new car for $3000 OVER the price they had previously quoted. Needless to say, I turned and walked away...absolutley ridiculous. A written offer....a written offer on their business head...Don't waste your time at this dealership! More
A horrible experience. I went to Ed Martin interested in a specific car, but I chose the dealership because it seemed like a lot of cars in their inventory would fit what I was looking for. The salesperson only seemed interested in showing me that one car and tried to get me to sign a sales agreement after five minutes. I walked away. More
Went to look at used cars. Had done a lot of research on 2010-11 CR-V's and saw two I was interested in. At first it was ok. Test drove and asked some questions to which some of the answers turned out to be 2010-11 CR-V's and saw two I was interested in. At first it was ok. Test drove and asked some questions to which some of the answers turned out to be incorrect. Did something I don't usually do and made an offer on one of the vehicles without sleeping on it. That's when it got fun. Charlie left for about ten minutes and came back with the used car sales manager. I was told that the price was the price and that he would "uncertify" it and save me maybe $300. Just tried talking to him. He asked "Why I wasn't at the other dealer if they had a better deal". Also said I was looking at an Equinox. He laughed and said good luck with that. His demeanor was hostile at best. Charlie followed us out and continued telling me that I didn't know what I was doing. Talking so fast I couldn't get a single word in. Finally had to reach out my hand to shake his and said "That's it. Thank you for your time" I will not be going to any Ed Martin dealerships ever again. More
Great overall experience as they worked hard to work a challenging deal for my wife and I! Trading in two used cars for two new cars - the finance team did a great job getting the payment where it needed challenging deal for my wife and I! Sam Trezzo was great to work with. He answered every question that I had, and I was out of the dealership with my new car in just over an hour. They lied about the deal. They are out right crooked. You can't believe anyone in the Showroom. They lied about the car fax of my car. When I confronted them they were dishonest. can't believe anyone in the Showroom. They lied about the car fax of my car. When I confronted them they were dishonest. More
Everyone's a salesperson including the Finance Manager. They lie about interest rates and extended services warranties. All the numbers present are rushed and inaccurate. We were sold a warranty on a vehicle and told it covered things it did not and was fully transferable and it was not and we were never notified of a MANUFACTURER'S DEFECT. When we did discover this problem things it did not and was fully transferable and it was not and we were never notified of a MANUFACTURER'S DEFECT. When we did discover this problem, we immediately went to Ed Martin and found out Honda would not cover the defect even though it was not due to any care we had given the car. Phone calls were promised to be returned by Dave Sonaman and never were, though I called about 30 times, I could never get through to him, even voicemails were not returned. If the head management can not keep their word, it would then be expected that a warranty sales person and the service department would not be honest as well if that is what is modeled to them. It is very sad for Honda that such a dealership and such employees are representing their name. We will be sure to never purchase a vehichle from Ed Martin again and educate others so they do not make the same mistakes. And if this is how Honda stands behind their vehicles, I doubt we will ever purchase a Honda. You would think a company would stand behind a manufacture's defect, rather than leaving the consumer to be hurt. More
I was curious about the different makes and models. After I asked what the manager called "too many questions" he told me that I was "wasting his time" and that he didnt like the way I "did business." After I asked what the manager called "too many questions" he told me that I was "wasting his time" and that he didnt like the way I "did business." His offer was $4300 above invoice. After yelling at me in the show room in front of other customers and embarrasing me he just walked away leaving me in an awkward position. I bought a Honda 3 days later from a different dealer. I love Hondas, but I would suggest looking elsewhere until Ed takes some anger management courses. More
