Do NOT buy a car from the Ed Martin Auto Group, especially if you are trying to buy online, they are the epitome of used car salesman. Only care to get the sale. My family and I had been looking for a particular used SUV that led us to EM Chrysler/Dodge. Working with the Used Car Manager, Dereck Barker, I was able to find the SUV that my wife had wanted, loaded, V8, low miles, tow package, Certified, etc. This had been hard to find and since working on the phone, I wanted assurance that we "had" the car bc it was an Anniversary gift. Dereck sent me the "Bill of Sale" and assurance it was done. All he was doing was "getting drivers to deliver it to us". So I printed copies of the pictures and surprised my wife and kids that night with the car. Only to get a text the next morning that read the car had sold. What? We have since been patronized by the General Manager, Brian Burke, that he was going to "make it right". Well, a month and a half later we sit here with the hope that they actually cared now gone. This is a slimy used car dealership network, I even talked to the owner Mark Harrison, hoping that he could get his employees to do what they promised...nothing. All they care about is the sale and screwing a customer is no big deal. This was the Used Car Manager and the General Manager, they both know they had sold the car, but during the process they found a better sale and did think twice about screwing me or my family. I hope at least one other person reads this and thinks twice. Do not believe one word that comes out of their mouths. UPDATE: We went on their Facebook page and left similar statement; after it caught others eyes and comments started to be added, they removed my statement completely. Do not buy from this automotive group. They only care about the sale in front of them. SLIMY CAR SALESMAN all around. More

What a breath of fresh air to sit across the table from a salesperson at a dealership where I felt like I was a partner during the purchasing process instead of an adversary. No need to negotiate through a maze of hidden fees, markups or crazy add-ons like window etchings, GAP insurance, paint protection plans or other financing landmines. Honest and transparent from beginning to end. This really is the way buying a new vehicle ought to be... completely worth the drive to Anderson (away from the high-pressure metro area dealer tactics) to get what felt like a personalized small-town experience. More

Service Department is TERRIBLE!!!!! Long story short but this week I took my Grand Cherokee in for the THIRD time for the same issue. The last time is cost me $1,000 and they didn't fix the problem. They this week I took my Grand Cherokee in for the THIRD time for the same issue. The last time is cost me $1,000 and they didn't fix the problem. They are merely guessing. I can get on Google and read all sorts of forums that would help explain the issue but instead I thought I was taking it to "Certified" mechanics. I expect this from a Jiffy Lube but not a dealership where I am paying upwards of $100/hr for labor. Just pitiful. And to beat that, I had to call the Service Advisor three times to inquire...he NEVER reached out to me. Are you kidding? Service Manager is just as bad. He stated he didn't think they fixed the issue and wanted to keep it. What have they been doing the three days they had it?!?! Mechanics don't drive vehicle after they "fix" them, they can't diagnose, etc. AND, after getting it back from an oil change the dipstick was broken off.....they say they didn't do it. Engine cover not properly put back on. The problems were endless. We will take to a dealer than can actually work and fix cars. What an absolute miserable experience. If your car needs work this is NOT the place. More
