Ed Martin Buick GMC is big enough to have competitive pricing but small enough to have a "family" feel. All staff I dealt with made me feel important and that no question asked was trivial. When I arrived Amy at the service desk greeted me by name; she had the paperwork ready for my visit. Amy took me out to check my car over to be sure everything was in good shape. I had a question about tire rotation which Amy answered. The waiting room is clean and you have a large choice of free coffee and snacks, including fresh fruits. My vehicle was ready when promised and the lady at the checkout desk was very friendly and answered a couple of questions I had about the paperwork. I am glad you have free WiFi also. Best car buying experience ever! Rick McCoy and Nolan Crum made our car buying experience wonderful. After visiting numerous dealerships in Avon and Plainfield, we ended up going to Ed Martin. There was no haggling, no pressure to purchase a new vehicle. (Unlike numerous other dealerships we had visited.) Rick walked us step by step through all of our concerns. He made us feel comfortable and put our minds at ease. Nolan showed us all of the "ins" and "outs" of our new vehicle, and made us feel comfortable enough to drive our car off the lot. I purchased a Certified 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 with 13,000 miles when I went to pick it up it had hail damage that they tried to get me to accept that way. I told the salesperson I would not buy a 13,000 miles certified vehicle new to me vehicle with hail damage. The manager had already left and the salesman had to call him. Then when it came to the paperwork we had agreed to a total price out the door then they raised it $160. My father grew up with ed martin jr and sure he would be embarrassed with customers getting treated this way. Now they are fixing the hail damage and I have to make 2 trips because they couldn't get it all done and don't have another opening for 2 weeks. Make sure you check everything they will try to rip you off any chance they can to make more on you. More
Identified Ed Martin as a Costco dealer when we were initially looking at a new car. We got a prompt response as far as pricing on a new vehicle. Once at the dealership we got a friendly welcome a great service. There was to pressure to buy new or used. Rich showed us all our options an we were able to get an ever better price.
