After I left with my new Buick I hit a pothole and my tire went flat. John David changed it for me in the rain then set up getting me a new tire. He went over everything in the car and he even helped me move all the stuff from my old car to my new one. Ed Martin must hold their salesman to a high standard. I have never had such a wonderful experience. John David Morgan made it actually fun to buy a car. More

Extreme lack of communication The employees from top down have no idea what they are doing. There is no communication amongst them. One person (Erika) is trying to video a car for me, and the other person ( Chris Gilliam) is trying to wholesale it. What sense does that make? Not really interested in increasing profitability here, are they. Wait, isn't that in Erika and Jon's job description.... Jon Steele is just plain lazy. I asked for a description on the paint/interior condition of the car, and all he said was that "typical for the year" ...nice Jon, too lazy to get off your butt and check it out. Isn't that in Salesmanship 101., describe the car accurately to the respective buyer. And forget about getting a call back from any of these 3. I leave messages and get absolutely no response. You would be wise to move on to any other car at any other dealership. Very disappointing, this is a car I would have easily pulled the trigger on, but the dealerships lackluster employees blew it. Erika tried a little, but the other 2 employees Jon Steel, and Chris Gilliam should be fired. Very poor customer relations. More

I received a prompt email response from Jon Steele acknowledging my request and asking me to call him back if I wanted to set up an appointment to see the vehicle. We saw it later that day and Jon was very helpful getting us a salesperson to assist us in a timely manner. Bryan Coup helped us. Friendly, professional, not intrusive or overbearing at all, Bryan did a very good job helping us firm up our interest I. The vehicle with helpful information without useless chatter. I thought he did a very good job overall. The handoff to F&I with Doug was professional and respectful of our decision to stick with USAA for financing. The presentation for extended service warranty plans was brief and professional without being pushy. We chose not to get an extended warranty plan. Paperwork was smooth, timely, and easy. We received a full tank of gas, a car wash, and a very thoughtful thank you from both Jon, Doug, and Bryan. The big yellow oval sticker advertising the year of the car on the windshield was not removed when we left and we returned the next day to ask for it to be removed. Jon did so willingly, quickly, and wonderfully. On the whole, we had a very nice experience and would revisit Ed Martin Buick GMC again without reservation. Very well done! Thank you! More

Do not buy a vehicle here Do not buy from Ed Martin. We bought a vehicle from them only to find a multitude of problems with it after signing the paperwork. When we test dr Do not buy from Ed Martin. We bought a vehicle from them only to find a multitude of problems with it after signing the paperwork. When we test drove the vehicle, everything seemed fine except it needed a new radiator and the tires needed balanced. We were persuaded to sign the paperwork to purchase the vehicle and told that we could pick it up the next day. When we drove over two hours to pick up the vehicle the next day, we test drove the vehicle to confirm that the radiator and tire alignment had been completed properly. During the test drive, we noticed a whining noise in 4 wheel drive. We expressed our concerns to the used car manager, who told us they would check it out and deliver the vehicle to us the next day. Two days later, the driver arrived with the vehicle. The service manager said that they thought the sound was normal, but would pay to have it inspected by the Ford dealership in our town. The driver also mentioned that the tire light came on in the vehicle while driving it to us. He stated that he called the service manager and was told that whatever was wrong with the tire light would be fixed. After getting the vehicle inspected, we discovered that two of the tires did not have enough air in them, which was causing the all wheel drive whining sound. We were also informed that the tires were over five years old and dry rotted, making them unsafe to drive on. Our local shop also noted that the alignment was off, which we were told was already done. The oil pan is leaking, as well as the exhaust manifold. When we contacted the dealership to expressed concern regarding the unsafe tires, they told us that we were wrong and that “Tire safety is a matter of opinion.” Their demeanor was completely different than when we took possession of the vehicle. They had promised that whatever was wrong with the tires would be corrected, which was obviously an outright lie since they are now refusing to correct the issue. I feel that the employees at this dealership did everything they could to get us to buy a vehicle from them and as soon as we took possession, they treated us like we were an annoyance. More
