Today is the 1st bad experience I have had with this dealership more than likely due to new service writers…in the last 29 years of always purchasing NEW…never used GM vehicles a loaner vehicle was not dealership more than likely due to new service writers…in the last 29 years of always purchasing NEW…never used GM vehicles a loaner vehicle was not available today or even offered to me, in 29 years I know I’ve purchased at least 30+ vehicles and when warranty work was done I was always given a loaner vehicle. My current NEW vehicle a $63,000 Buick Enclave with 1,200 miles was taken in for a rattle coming from the rear. Really disappointed that Ed Martin doesn’t take care of LOYAL CUSTOMERS better than this. After all almost a 30 year customer who knows most of their technicians and they know me. More

I inquired online through cars. com initially about a vehicle. This led me to my sales Rep Tony G, who was VERY responsive to my questions and concerns. Because I am a night shift worker, Tony and Shynelle worked together on helping me get this deal done from a neighboring state. From the deposit being placed, to being patient with the lending company I brought with me, the entire process was literally smooth and stress free. I have bought 3 vehicles in 4 years and this was far better experience from all the rest. Pick up day was also great. Derick J. stepped in on this day to help get me in my Dream car on Tony's off day, but my only day available that week. Vehicle had a bow and was more beautiful than the pictures online. Finance was easy and very neat with digital signing, under desk screen with fancy pen to sign. I had 3 or 4 people offer me a drink or ask if i needed anything. I got a tour of the entire place while my new vehicle was being detail. 10/10 would make the 4.5 hour drive to this dealership, as will any of my friends and family looking for the perfect car buying experience. More

Zach, the GM, did everything in his power to make this right for us. While we did not buy with Ed Martin this time, I would have no issue shopping with them again in the future. I think this salesman was not representative of Ed Martin, but I am leaving the review below for posterity sake. I appreciate Zach making us feel welcome and valued after our initial negative experience. I had an awful experience at Ed Martin Buick today. We came in looking for Buick Encores. Rance met us at the door, and while he was helpful on the lot, once we went inside to talk numbers things went downhill fast. Rance was condescending and rude to the point that we ended up having to go to the front and ask for our keys back because we were done dealing with him. He made it very clear that we were wasting his time, despite this car being our #1 at that point, just because we were not willing to make a deal today. After looking online, it seems this is not the first time Rance has treated customers so poorly. I left the lot in tears. Zach, the GM, followed us outside to apologize, and followed up with a second apology via email. He is the only reason we are giving a generous 3 stars to the dealership. I truly hope they evaluate their training and hiring practices for their sales staff. More
