I just saw the dent when I opened it all the way for the first time since purchasing the truck. The tonneau should have never been installed dented in the first place. It says a lot about the culture at the dealership. I don't know how the installer would of missed it. But I guess its possible. At least its on the bottom side when its not folded up. I'll live with it. I'm done doing business there. We have already discussed the $1,000 markup. Which you refused to do anything about. Even after the sales person told you he told me your dealership didn't charge those fees like the competition is. Which is why I accepted a lower offer on my trade in. So lets talk about the trade in. You marked it up over $10,000 from what you gave me for it. "Fair Market Value" my a--. While I was still in possession of my trade in waiting on the new truck to get to the dealership you listed my trade in on your web site. When I question my salesperson on why you are giving me such a low trade in and listing it at such a high price I was told "we just do that so nobody will call wanting to buy the truck that isn't on our lot". Well low and behold when I took delivery of my new truck and the old truck was in your possession the price sure didn't come down. Unless you are willing to do something about the $1,000 "inventory charge" I was told I would not be charged or do something to make it right on my trade then what more is there to talk about? I'll be checking my mailbox for the check. HA HA. That's how you can resolve my issue and perception of the store I will be sure to share my personal experience with everyone I know. As far selling you the truck back. My issue isn't with the truck. Why would I do that? So you can make more money off of me? I understand your dealership in in business to make money but I have never had a dealer give me $10,000 less for my trade in than what they listed it for. And I've purchased vehicles from at least 10 different new car dealerships in my life. Unfortunately GM closed my favorite "small town" dealership around 2010. They were upfront with pricing and gave fair prices on trade ins.

It was a pleasure to work with the salesman Dennis McNamara at Ed Martin Buick GMC. I don't usually buy from dealerships, because of the pressure to buy that I've experienced in the past. The whole process went very smoothly, but it did take some time to do a test drive, look the vehicle over closely, paperwork, and get info on all the functions of the electronics. We drove two and a half hours to see the car, which Dennis held until we got there. The whole process took a few hours, but I'm very thorough when looking at buying a vehicle, and Dennis was very thorough with his explanation of everything. My wife loves the car. The dealership was very immaculate outside and indoors as well. Just a great experience all around.
