According to the finance guy Warren Gutierrez, they haven't paid off trade in vehicles since May when the "new owners" took over. I purchased a car 7/1/2022, have been told by Warren multiple times that the check was cut but it wasn't. Warren confided in me that he has to sit and lie to customers all day long telling them their trade in was paid off when it wasn't. He said they're only paying the loans where the people become a problem and are vocal. I've emailed, called, even went to the dealership and still nothing. Also, the new General Manager Carlton and Warren both know they're willingly violating the Dealer Board of Advertising rules by adding these so called "Addendums" to the price of the vehicle which is illegal. They can add costs as long as it's advertised. They'll continue to do business this way until they're forced to stop. More
It’s been 62 days since I traded a 22 GMC AT4HD for a 22 Frontier Pro4X and the dealer hasn’t paid off my trade. They claim they have now, but the bank still hasn’t seen payment. The amount they claim to ha Frontier Pro4X and the dealer hasn’t paid off my trade. They claim they have now, but the bank still hasn’t seen payment. The amount they claim to have paid is not the 10-day payoff amount that was agreed to in contract. Everyone there currently gives the runaround about people being let go for fraud, embezzlement, etc. but the fraud and corruption is clearly still there. My new vehicles registration was never even filed with the state, so I’m on another temp tag now. I’d seriously advise anyone considering doing business with Stephanie Morris Nissan in Durango, CO to look elsewhere for a vehicle. I’ll be filing a suit against them this coming week for breach of contract. More

I honestly have to admit buying a vehicle from this dealership was the worst car buying experience I have ever had! Papers had wrong VIN numbers, price changed, payment went higher, did not get what I dealership was the worst car buying experience I have ever had! Papers had wrong VIN numbers, price changed, payment went higher, did not get what I was told for my trade. Biggest headache ever! All I asked them to do was make things right! I could not even get that! Would not recommend going here and I will not be a returning customer!! More
ZERO STARS: The worst service that I have ever received regarding automotive repair service AND customer service! Absolutely unacceptable and pathetic. Small rodents, probably little chipmunk/ground squir regarding automotive repair service AND customer service! Absolutely unacceptable and pathetic. Small rodents, probably little chipmunk/ground squirrels, decided to build a nest inside the A/C ductwork. Last summer, I replaced the blower motor and the blower motor resistor. I also vacuumed out as much of the ductwork as I could reach. But, it wasn’t enough and there was still nest debris coming through the vents when I turned on the A/C. I wanted the A/C professionally cleaned out and repaired. I also needed chewed wires under the hood repaired. And there is one open recall that I wanted repaired. Meanwhile, I figured that while the Xterra was in the dealership, I’d have them change the oil and balance/rotate the tires. I used the overnight drop off and left my Nissan Xterra at the dealership on 07/04/2022. I called after two days, but they were still working on it and needed to keep the vehicle for the rest of the week. After one week, I received a call to notify me that the blower motor resistor needed to be replaced, but it was not in stock and was a special-order item. I called for a status check after two weeks, but the call was disconnected, and I couldn’t get back through to the dealership. I called again the following week (week #3), but the service manager couldn’t find the service ticket and said that he would call me back. I waited all afternoon and after receiving no call back, I called again, and he still had not located my service ticket. He finally called me back shortly before close of day, and I learned that basically nothing that I really needed to be repaired had been performed. The oil change was done, and they replaced the blower motor resistor. They rotated the tires but did not rebalance the tires. Nothing else on my list was completed. I finally picked up my Xterra on 07/27/2022. The attached photos show the condition of my vehicle when I picked it up. This was the first time that I have taken my Xterra to the dealership in Durango. It is also my last time. The service manager called me after I had returned home. He wanted to know if there was a good time when I could bring the Xterra back to them so that they could complete the job and “make things right.” I held my tongue and tried to remain polite and respectful. But seriously, if the vehicle has been there for three weeks, and if the items that were completed were only done half-xxx, why in the xxxx would I bring the vehicle back to you??? No thank you, Stephanie Morris Nissan of Durango. More
I will never ever buy another car through Stephanie Morris Nissan Durango Colorado! At time of sales they did not offer or want to tell me where the car had come from. Found out later after I bought my Morris Nissan Durango Colorado! At time of sales they did not offer or want to tell me where the car had come from. Found out later after I bought my 2020 Kia that it was a Enterprise rental. After I bought it and was ready to leave I asked for the second set of keys they only had one set of keys for it. Cost me $400 and I had to drive 180 miles to make a second set of keys. They never sent me the title so when I called and asked for it two months later so I could get my car registered. Six calls Later I had heard every excuse in the book as to why they couldn’t send me my title. When they realized I was not going to take any more excuses and I wasn’t Going to drive 200 miles to pick up the title as they originally said they would mail it to me. They told me they would UPS it overnight to me and I would have it the next day. They didn’t get it to UPS till after cut off time so the package didn’t go out until the next evening to be delivered the following day. Unfortunately we were not going to be home the following day and that’s why I needed the package the day before so that we could take it to the city that we were going to be residing in and get it registered but without the title we could not get it registered. I called and asked if they would get a hold of UPS and have the package delivered to the address that we would be at the following day . I was told that they would have to go and see if they could get it changed and then it might be an extra charge so then they would have to get that charge authorized! I called Stephanie Morris Nissan in Durango Colorado and asked to speak to the manager or the person in charge of the dealership. They conveniently were in a meeting. I told them I would be waiting for their phone call after they got out of the meeting that I wanted to get things cleared up that evening. Yep you guessed it! I have never heard or got a call from Stephanie Morris Nissan in Durango Colorado. I still don’t have my title. I assume UPS has it somewhere in their system! Stephanie Morris Nissan of Durango Colorado your business sucks! More
BUYER BEWARE! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE & HIGH PRESSER SALES BUYER BEWARE! NISSAN OF DURANGO sold me a lemon. They also didn’t tell me it had been in a SERIOUS accident. (they said someone hit the bumper) When I purchased it Jay Jensen, the sales agent told me to bring it back and they would detail it, fix the rear headliner, which was missing the plastic screws that hold it up, and also fix the XM GPS antenna that was disconnected. They said they had to order the plastic screws. When I brought it back the repair technician tore the plug to the XM antenna fin off and took it. (BECAUSE HE BROKE IT). They said they would order that part. It was $180.00. Two weeks later, they rudely tell me NO, they will not replace the part, or do anything. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE & HIGH PRESSER SALES. THEY WILL DO AND SAY ANYTHING TO GET YOU TO BUY A VEHICLE. More
