August 3, 2015...And the hits just keep on rolling. We had to take our 2011 Pilot back to the shop because it started shaking when we increased speed to 70 mph. The vehicle also started vibrating when we applied the brakes. We dropped the Pilot off on Saturday morning around 7:30 am only to be told that someone would call me Monday. Never got a call, so I called Honda at 3:30 on Monday only to be told that they were just checking it out. Got a call shortly after that to find out that the Pilot has aftermarket brakes and grease and that's what's causing the vibration. It could all be corrected if I pay roughly $700 for rotors and brake pads. At what point should I accept that I was sold a lemon? I bought this Pilot certified which meant Economy Honda would stand behind this used vehicle. So in 9 months this vehicle has needed a new alternator, pistons, and now brake pads and rotors. We've only put less than 14,000 miles on it and that's because it was driven to Florida for vacation. This just adds to my frustration with Economy Honda!!
