Great experience from beginning to end. Had only recently started seeing adds about Echo Park and they had the car we were interested in so we drove over an hr for the appointment. We received a lot of emails from them before hand so the communication was constant before our appointment day. The facility is very nice on the outside and the lot was full of nice clean cars. We were greeted at the reception desk, checked in and waited about 10 minutes or so for a sales person. Their waiting area is open concept, set up kinda Cafe style with tables and chairs in groups, no hidden cubicles. You can see all the other customers.. Our salesman, Derrick Windley, was very friendly, courteous and professional. He introduced himself and welcomed us Echo Park. We had some concerns about information that wasn't available online in reference to the carfax on the Yukon that we were interested in and he was able to clarify the information and also showed us the service history. Derrick had the Yukon brought around and we were able to just walk out front to view it. No walking the lot to find the car, especially since temp outside was mid 90°. It was a unique valet type service. The car was exactly as advertised though we thought it was Royal Blue but it's a dark sapphire blue so we actually didn't recognize it at first. We inspected the Yukon with Derrick and he answered additional questions and pointed out other key features on the inside and outside. We test drove it and Derrick was able to direct us safely thru traffic as we were not familiar with the area. The ride was pleasant, no surprises, comfortable and smooth. We had another appointment to see a newer year Yukon so told Derrick we would be back or call him and he said no problem, he'd be there til 9 pm. We left the other appointment and came back to Ecko Park cause we liked their Yukon more and the customer service. We called Derrick, he had given us his business card. Went back to Ecko Park and he greeted us outside, said he was working with another customer and would be with us shortly but he gave us the keys to check out the Yukon once more, it was still out front. We inspected it again and decided to get it. We already had financing so we didn't have to wait wasn't too long for the paperwork to be completed. Derrick was very thorough and explained everything. A salesmanager manager came over and spoke with us about the services available with every car they sell and we got a behind the scenes look in the car service and detail area. Sorry can't remember his name but no pressure from him, said he was just making sure we were clear on all the benefits that come with buying from Ecko Park. We didn't get handed off to another person we had Derrick Windley from start to finish. In the end we left Ecko Park with the car we wanted and at the price we expected to pay and was at ease with our decisions. I would recommend Ecko Park to anyone looking for stress free, no gaming carbuying experience. I also highly recommend Derrick Windley for his courteous, friendly and knowledgeable customer service as well as follow-up service after the sale. We love the car, Ecko Park was worth the drive. I left with a smile and returned a few hours later, upset. The car fell apart. I understand why we didn't get on the expressway. I was being scammed. The car's front end was damaged. I told the salesperson on the first test drive that the front end was not balanced. She took it back and stated that the mechanic gave it an alignment. She asked me if I was sure about the car, when she should have said the vehicle was a lemon. Also, I was given a different price than I received online. Dawn said that the online system was never accurate, and was told that the second car that I selected was sold the night before. I was also offered another vehicle, more expensive and with more miles. But I wanted an Altima. Not knowing that the car was not safe. I could have been killed. I was and am so upset and disappointed that I had not read all the disgusting reviews about this dealership, which included selling over 300 damaged vehicles in one year. The State of Georgia and the Echo Park owners, board, and stockholders should not allow this to continue. Taking advantage of customers, especially senior citizens, is 100% Bad Business. I am not pleased with the way I was misled into thinking that the car was in great condition. I assumed Dawn was new on the job. But now, as I think back, I feel the salesperson knew more than she let on by the things she was saying, and she seemed a little uneasy. She offered another car and asked me if I was sure three times before the final sale. She also mentioned that I did not need a down payment more than once. I decided to pay $1000.00 to lower my payment. Not once did she mention the vehicle was damaged, and she was not surprised when I returned a short time later, the same day, within 4 hours. Also, the finance guy (I don't remember his name) became defensive during the signing because I was asking him to explain what I was signing. He stated that I could get someone else to assist. I should have gotten up and left. I am not pleased with this company. It's so sad that we can not trust people. Where is the Honor? This company has gotten another blackeye!! More
