Well to tell you the truth I don't believe there are adequate words to express how satisfied I am. Its a rather long story but I will try to be brief. In February I came to Eau Claire Ford to purchase b adequate words to express how satisfied I am. Its a rather long story but I will try to be brief. In February I came to Eau Claire Ford to purchase because my daughter had crashed our vehicle. This was the 3rd vehicle in 6 months that had been wrecked. Looking around online I saw a vehicle a Chevy Venture that I really liked. I came up to test drive and was prepared to buy. The trip was a bit rocky. When I got there the Van had not been prepared and in fact would not start. Somewhow it had slipped through that I was coming and no one had bothered to call me. So I looked at the van, still liking it I said unless when I test drove the vehicle I would most likely buy it. I was pretty desperate. I had no vehicle and had been relying on my mother for transportation. Now at my age thats not a good thing. Well anyhow I returned the next day. A new fuel pump I was told had been put into the van and it was checked off as in good shape and for sale. I took a short test drive and came back to purchase. I thought I had solved my long run of car problems. Now as I said this was in February. A short 2-3 weeks after buying the van it started to shake when it ran, almost kill out and shifted with much difficulty. I took it to my mechanic who diagnosed a bad head gasket, several codes indicating transmission failure and worn brakes. All this would cost at least $2000.00 and in his opinion the van was not worth that much. Also in his opinion was not safe for driving. Now I had purchased the van as an as is deal. Needless to say I was very distraught, again having no transportation and now a loan to pay on a van that was not usable. I don't mind saying I felt like Eau Claire Ford had given me a sour deal. I was very angry. I took a few more days to settle down and try to decide what to do. A friend of mine called and knowing my plight asked if he could accompany me to Eau Claire Ford and try to make a deal with them. After a couple of days of hopeless consideration I agreed. Still I knew I had bought the van as is and really felt they really wouldn't do anything. Reluctantly but knowing I had nothing to loose my friend drove the van back to the dealership and began to negotiate. I joined after a few minutes. We worked with Randy Jones and Josh (I am sorry I do not know his last name). What happened that day was truely nothing short of a miracle. Randy and Josh found options that I could never had anticipated or even dreamed possible. I left Eau Claire Ford that day in complete shock of what had just happened. Over a span of hours Randy and Josh put together a deal that covered half of the price of the van that no longer ran, obtained financing that combined the existing loan I had on the van and covered a wonderful vehicle for me. I drove out of the lot that day in a brand new 2012 Ford Fiesta and a load lifted from my shoulders and mind that had weighed me down for months. The car was hand picked by Josh and I can only say he and Randy must have listened very carefully and had hearts of gold that day. I wish I could express how meaningful to me the entire experience was for me and my daughter. When I got home and showed her the car and explained she almost couldn't believe me.Her eyes lite up and she too relaxed. Their work and efforts not only helped me greatly financially but emotionally. The entire experience was perfectly fantastic. I am still pinching myself wondering if this is real. Everyday I enjoy the privledge of driving a brand new car, low gas mileage, dependable and not costing me one cent of repair money. Their efforts have provided me a ride to work, to see my family, visit my son in prision and all with no worries of a breakdown. Before I left that day Randy asked me what had I expected when I came. I looked at him and gave him my honest answer, "I didn't think you guys would do anything and that I would be asking you to allow me to leave the van here until I could get it hauled away". I am so grateful and emmensly pleased that I was proven wrong. I have experienced a true miracle through the work of two very special men and Eau Claire Ford. Rather than trying to close the sale, he began to ask me questions. He wanted to make sure I was buying the right car for my needs. As a person who sells for a career it was nice to meet a true professional who had my best interest in mind. Next was the trade value on my now former truck, Josh the sales manager provided me a very fair trade value. Kandi was next with the financing, and a few short minutes later I had a great rate from Ford Credit. Overall it was my least stressful buying process on a car or truck I’ve ever experienced. I would highly recommend Eau Claire Ford for anyone looking at Ford Products. No Pressure, No Hype and No Playing with Numbers just to close the sale. Just a good deal on a good car. There are plenty of ‘straight forward, no haggle” dealers in Northwest Wisconsin, but many of those use high pressure sales tactics that just turn me off. We arrived and knew what we were looking for. John Vang was right there to help us! Because he owned one, he was a wealth of knowledge. Able to answer any question we threw at him. Just the guy you want to talk to/with. After the purchase, he even brought his vehicle to show how the SYNC system and everything work all set up. Then he set up my SYNC account online and was/is willing to answer any questions even in the future or set it up himself. He ordered the crossbars for the top of the car cargo area and even helped install them. Kandi and Tim were extremely helpful and knowledegable for the warranties and described the plans to us even though we were not going to get them. We did purchase a few as Kandi had looked at our mileage and suggested that might be best for us as the vehicle warranties would run out faster via mileage than years. More
