Great car buying experience. I didn't feel rushed or pressured but was allowed to make a decison based on facts given to me. They even helped me to understand my budget options. I made my deposit in 2 installments, what I did not knkow was the financing was not going to be processed until the second installment. Five days after I took possession of the car and only 1 day after remo was the financing was not going to be processed until the second installment. Five days after I took possession of the car and only 1 day after removal of the windshield stickers they left on the windshield, I noticed a circular crack in the windshield. When I brought it to the attention of the Easterns Motor staff, they immediately identified it as a rock hit and it was strongly suggested I get that fixed before it spread. The crack does not have the signature look of a rock crack with the puncture mark in the middle. It is a complete uninterrupted circle with no mark in the middle. In reality the automobile did not belong to me at that point as the financing was not been processed for 14 days after this encounter. The second time I brought it up, it was suggested the "glass man" they use at the dealership would come to the dealer and fix it "rather cheaply." Unfortunately, nobody ever contacted me to confirm a date and time. I decided if I have to pay someone to fix the crack, I can have someone do it in my driveway and at my convenience. My initial thought was that this was a bad buy if I have to put money into it before the finance company telephone conference. As I write this review I have not had possession of this vehicle 30 days yet and the financing is less than 2 weeks old. The other thing I found odd is they offer a CarFax report but one was not shown to me on this vehicle prior to purchase. I only learned it had been in 2 accidents and received back end repairs after investigating why the back doors required a forceful push to engage properly. I've bought cars before and never had to put money into one within the first 30 days, so NO I cannot recommend the dealership and it's a shame because my salesman was A+. More
The dealer was super friendly and got me exactly what I wanted. He worked with my budget and I was able to get a car that was a year old with low miles for an outstanding price.
