You need to know. I informed sales staff I was there to learn about the Tucson so i could compare, and not to buy. Test drive was great. A purchase price was offered and my wife and I were ready to leave. Then the general manager was brought to the table and I almost left in disgust and disappointment. It was like buying a car 25 yrs ago. The sales staff was great, but this GM almost soured the milk. I ended up buying and am happy. Just couldn't believe the pressure tactics of old. I've also had my first problem and service experience. The lift gate would not open reliably--never knew when it was going to open. This is a real problem if you frequently use the cargo space. It has taken over a week to get the part in (new latch mechanism) and I hope to be in service department tomorrow to get it taken care of. I was disappointed that this was handled just like any other service concern. No rush request on the part. No offer of loaner car to shop for the several hours to repair. Is this unreasonable on a brand new vehicle?? More
