Buyers beware decent enough sales experience but that’s were it went sour. Left messages for sales manager again for 3 days no return calls. Finally talked to Joe today who was kind enough to check on my issue and informed me if want it fixed I’ll have to pay for it. So I guess a wiper not working is not a safety hazard. So they sold me a defective vehicle. This is not acceptable in my book. Also when you go to finance be prepared to get screwed. More

I had requested in multiple ways, via 800#, via a phone message to the service dept, via a voice mail to the Service Department manager, Sam Oldham, for a loaner vehicle, as my brand new 2014 Santa Fe with message to the service dept, via a voice mail to the Service Department manager, Sam Oldham, for a loaner vehicle, as my brand new 2014 Santa Fe with less than 5000 miles, needed recalls and another manufacturer defect. Sam never called me back. When I asked this morning for a loaner, I was told the repairs/recall would only take 1 hour. I explained I am suffering from back pain and did not want to wait in the lounge. Well, I clearly wasn’t persistent enough. I waited 1 1/2 hrs, in pain, the whole time and Sam was nowhere to be found. I finally took their shuttle home, after waiting another 1/2 hour in pain. About 1/2 hour after getting home, my car was done, almost 3 hours later. To make matters worse, the Eastern Shore Hyundai website had a page for reviews or to speak with Pete Pappelris. I called to talk to Pete, the receptionist never heard of him and forwarded me back to Sam Oldham’s voicemail. This is completely unacceptable To me. More
