Blow box training needed. Let me begin this with saying how amazing Josh in the service department is. He greeted me with a smile and welcomed me warmly. I explained to him that my vehicle had a blow box installed and that I would have to blow in it to start my car every time the car needed to be moved. We also discussed with another gentleman that my car could not be left running because it would have to be blown into every ten minutes. They had me blow in my box when they took my car back for service. I waited in the waiting room. Josh came to get me and told me that my emergency stop sensors in my brand new 2018 Nissan Altima were faulty and needed to be ordered and that they would take care of it under my warranty. It didn't immediately occur to me that they had moved my car to the exit without me blowing in my blow box. When I went to blow into my handset my screen displayed a violation code and I realized what happened. Josh instructed me to call the company and that he would find out what happened. Josh explained to me that It was because their trained technician did not turn my vehicle off the entire time it was back in service, not following your departments procedures. When the box beeped for 4 minutes to alert them it needed me to blow into it, they did not come get me and it violated my machine. The company informed me that I had four days to get into the company either in Jacksonville or Morehead City to get it fixed. That day was my only day off that week and I had no choice to drive an hour each way to take my car all the way to Jacksonville and wait for them to fit me into their schedule, because the Morehead store is only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays and were closed on the weekends. I had no choice to spend these hours on my day off to correct the service technicians mistake when he didn't follow the policy of not leaving vehicles running back in the department. I asked Josh if I could please be compensated with the gas to take me back and forth to Jacksonville. He went and asked someone while I was finishing dealing with the blow box company and filling out an incident report. He came back and said that the service manager had given a 10 dollar voucher for 3 gallons of gas. As I followed Josh to the gas station I became very upset. The service manager NEVER came out to apologize for his technician causing such a big problem for me by his lack of professionalism in his job. This also made me feel like my time on my only day off and having to call and cancel two of my appointments that I needed to attend was only worth ten dollars and no apology. Josh was very sorry and was very understanding of the inconvenience I was caused. I left that afternoon feeling very disappointed with my very first interaction with your company. I fully informed your department of what procedures to follow due to my blow box. They even told me that they had been working with a woman previously with one of these who had just had hers removed. This tells me that they knew the procedures that had to be adhered to. I am very unhappy with what was the very first interaction with your service department. More

I recently bought my teenaged son a used 2007 Infiniti. All initial indications suggested that it was a good car, however I’m not a mechanic. I needed a peace of mind. My wife told me to take the car to Eastern Carolina Nissan. From the time I made the phone call for service I was at ease. Service rep Joshua was the most professional, courteous and attentive rep that I have ever dealt with. He informed about open recalls on the vehicle. I was give a maintenance portfolio on the car. I was updated on every stage of cars servicing. It was awesome! I drive an expensive vehicle and the level of service I receive doesn’t come close.
