East Madison Toyota I scheduled a 10,000 mile oil change to be covered under the 2 yr/24k mile service warranty. Shortly after going to the waiting room, a service tech came to me and stated that the change to be covered under the 2 yr/24k mile service warranty. Shortly after going to the waiting room, a service tech came to me and stated that they recommend oil changes every 10,000 miles. I reponded that the Toyota handbook states 5,000 miles. I then told her that I didnt want them to perform any work on my car and to bring my car to me. I was waiting in front of the service center for quite a while. Finally, my car was returned to me. Lying by East Madison Toyota. I brought my car to East Toyota for an oil change. After speaking to the service tech, I stated that I was cancelling the work and asked for my car to be returned to me. I received my car after a long wait, no receipt as there was no work authorized. I just received a Carfax report and found they submitted service done to my car. Unauthorized service, lied about it, and charged Toyota. Completely untrustworthy. More
