I purchased a New Toyota Sienna from Jon Lancaster. They really know how to treat people right. The salespeople aren't pushy and the sales managers were there to help, not bully me through the sale. After buying 2 new cars within the last ten years from them I went to purchase a used car. I had saw the ad online with a discount of $250 on a any used vehicles, when I got there for my appt @ 8am I had them I went to purchase a used car. I had saw the ad online with a discount of $250 on a any used vehicles, when I got there for my appt @ 8am I had to wait 1hr before anyone spoke to me, then made ME feel bad that they were going to lose $250!? After all said and done I was going to purchase the car but they would not budge $200 on the price even though I had cash in hand. The car was 15yrs old?? Listed to have CD player, 125,000 miles well it did not have a CD player and it had 130,000 and they told me "oops typo what do you expect"? Hey jon lancaster.....GFY More
I can't believe how bad of an experience I had. The salesperson was useless and the managers were completely inept. They have no clue how to treat a customer. The salesperson couldn't tell me anything about the car. I understood he was new, but have an idea before you start selling. I must say the salesperson was at least nice and had a good attitude. The managers Tom and John who I spoke with were arrogant and ignorant. They continuously spoke down to me as though I had absolutely no clue. I wanted to slap them for making me feel like an idiot throughout the whole process. I finally got up and left, because I was so mad. More
Worst experience ever, manager training new salesperson, playing good dealer/bad dealer, having discussions within earshot actually said "well they did not need to stop here" was not even trying to negotiat playing good dealer/bad dealer, having discussions within earshot actually said "well they did not need to stop here" was not even trying to negotiate, only retain trade in value. We shopped Smart, Zimbrick and other local dealers, Smart was much better salesperson, I dealt with Steve. We have yet to buy, but can guarantee it won't be from Lancaster. More
We cross shopped the two Madison area Toyota dealers. Our experience at Smart motors was not a good one. The sales person that we delt with there did not know much than we did about the 2007 Rav4 that we were interested in. When we went to Jon Lancaster Toyota we delt with Mark who was much more knowledgable about the Rav4. He explained all three trim levels and the difference between all of them. He talked to us about 2wd vs. 4wd, the reasons for buying a 4cyl vs. a V6 and *** the towing capabilities. Mark was very low pressure to buy from and that what we wanted -- I hate buying new cars. Jon Lancaster Toyota has earned my business and I hope they earn yours. More
